Fantastic experience: I find the gym experience excellent, all the fitness equipment, steam & sauna roon

Positive experience: Just recently joined, good variety of equipment, classes and weights, friendly helpful staff Well priced and a lot better than alot of the gyms in the area

Negative experience: Don't join this club. Trying to cancel membership impossible. Cannot get into login won't reset password. Been into the club twice and you cannot cancel in the club they gave me an email address didn't work. Back into the club they said they would send an email out to cancel. Still waiting. Going back in again next day off and not leaving till it cancelled.

Negative experience: Recently doubled the membership price with 1 month's warning, only thing different is the walls are now painted black (nice). No new kit, broken kit takes months to fix (into week 5 now of the back row machine being out of order), changing rooms look like they were last updated in the 90s. Gym lacks the basics - no plate loaded chest press, shoulder press or deltoid machines. Been told by staff they only get new kit when the gym at The Fort gets new stuff so they get the cast offs. Nice to know the membership fees are invested improving other clubs. Extra star given for having a good selection of dumbbells however.

Positive experience: Quite enjoy it whilst it was open a joined it then 2 weeks later it shut for refurbishment they never let me know that this was going to be happening and I know I'm not the only one that wasn't told so a bit annoyed about that.

Fantastic experience: Best value for money. Brillaint gym and staff

Negative experience: It’s £10 per month for a reason! Not enough equipment for the amount of members it has and too much of the same equipment that doesn’t get used! (Treadmills and ellipticals) The machines are old and basic. No equipment to train your abdominal. The gym is filthy! It desperately needs a refurb and upgrade.

Positive experience: Alright for what it is. Decent equipment, lots of parking, reasonably cheap compared to competitors. Changing rooms are dated and there is not a single bit of cleaning equipment available to wipe down machines after use and believe me with the smell the second you walk in that is apparent without this review.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym, staff and equipment for price would be daft not to go here. I joined my dad up who’s never been to a gym he’s 60! He now goes 7 days a week. And the staff are outstanding with him. Good work guys keep it up.

Positive experience: Great gym, quieter than other gyms, so opportunities to get on the equipment you want. Lots of classes and friendly expert advice available from the instructors at a reasonable monthly subscription.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Pity the interet had disappeared. It's supposedly getting fixed. Not good when your phone provider doesn't have good data services in the area.

Fantastic experience: Great price , great staff and loads of space. Classes are great also. I was with pure gym but with costs I had to leave. I wasn't sure about the gym at first but I do think it is great and worth the money .

Negative experience: worst gym I ever seen in my life specially the East Kilbride one - its extremely small - not enough machine for muscle building but 100 of cardio machine absolute waste of space - there's no hand dryer in bathroom lol - it's cold like your inside a fridge - extremely dodgy website and no one tell you how to cancel the membership you need send massage to head office maybe they answer and they have 1 month membership for 20£ its basically JUST for one month but they will continue take money from your account absolute joke

Fantastic experience: The trainers are friendly and helpful. A few to mention in east kilbride club that are fab are Lori, Bartek and Justine. Andy is great on reception. Very happy cheery place to visit to keep fit and healthy.

Negative experience: You really get what you pay for and for £10 per month, you don't get much at all. Very limited and very old equipment, a lot of it being out of order. Basic maintenance would stop them from breaking down. E.g, Tightening bolts and spraying some WD40! The building is manky and stinks of dampness! There is only one male toilet for the whole gym! The staff cook their smelly food and eat it at reception. Very unprofessional and distracting. AND TURN THE VOLUME OF YOUR MUSIC DOWN! It's so loud that I can't hear my own headphones! It's easy to see that this is a Mike Ashley club! Poor management and in desperate need of investment

Positive experience: Pretty good gym has all the essentials equipment showers lockers etc however bring your own water as there isn't a refill station . They however sell 2 bottles of cold water for a pound which isn't bad.

Fantastic experience: I joined in September 2021 and haven't looked back. The sense of community is great, you really feel like you're part of something when you're there. Still haven't managed to use the steam or sauna rooms but I'll get to it eventually.

Fantastic experience: Have been a member for over a year and have found the facilities great, the staff are very polite and knowledgeable and very helpful with personal instructor's. 10/10

Positive experience: Friendly and approachable counter staff and a reasonably well appointed facility. That said, some items of equipment have out-of-use or damaged notices and they don't appear to be remedied or replaced with any pace. This is commented on in previous reviews. The boxing bags/chains/stands have been broken twice in 3 weeks and therefore removed from use (twice) in this short time. Naturally this is not the fault of staff or on-site management however replacements are being "argued for" with higher-ups. The staff really shouldn't have to pursue and chase-up the issue. No reply to an email highlighting the issue as recommended by counter staff.

Fantastic experience: Great to be back. Safety precautions being adhered to and all appears to be working well. A lot of happy people.

Fantastic experience: Moved to EK during the pandemic and was looking for a new gym in the area that didn't look like it was always mobbed. Having been away from the gym environment for 2 years I didn't want to feel completely intimidated on my return. The gym is well equipped with lots of free weights, strength training machines, cardio, kettlebells, TRX, battle ropes etc. I've only been a couple of times but have managed to get my workout done without waiting on machinery, and everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. It's been easy to return to a comfortable 3 days split to ease myself back in and lose the lockdown lard!

Positive experience: Never usually too busy which means plenty of machines to work out on. Good amount of free parking available too. Changing rooms are a bit dated and showers sometimes out of order. Recently had issues with the treadmills resetting during a run.

Fantastic experience: Doesn't get any easier. For 9.99 a month can't go wrong. Showers, sauna and steam room for use. Good value for money

Fantastic experience: For £10 per month, you really can't beat this gym. I go early in the morning, and there's enough cardio machines and weights and equipment for the amount of people in at that time. The morning classes are great, as are the instructors. Lori is one of the best instructors I've ever had actually. My only complaints are that there are not enough classes on the weekends (only 2 or 3 in the am), and it closes at 6pm on weekends. If you go after work, it is much more crowded and the classes fill up very quickly, so you might have a different experience. But again, for £10 / month, absolutely delighted with this gym.

Positive experience: Transfered here as i used another one of the club gyms which hadnt re opened post covid. Staff, friendly and helpfull, lots of equipment and space, car park and not overly busy when iv been in cannot fault

Fantastic experience: Best gym in ek and best kept secret ...staff are always attentive and professional it's a great gym to workout in .....all the members seem to get on well also

Positive experience: Well run with good attention paid to hygiene and plenty sanitation stations to ensure club members can clean equipment and reduce potential for infection spread.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with friendly staff. Great range of free weights and cardio machines. I've only tried a few of the classes that are available and they have been fantastic. Even has a sauna and steam room.

Negative experience: I returned to everlast tail-end of Last year and must say I was happy in returning, however not entirely sure if I will remain, on Sunday I've received an injury due to another gym member and not entirely happy with the lack of tracking the culprit down, I've received a hairline fracture to my right ankle torn achiles tendon and several other torn muscles and ligaments also the probability of an operation to the achiles tendon, not Impressed with the lack of an investigation a person leaving a treadmill operating at full speed this is not acceptable in my eyes and endangering other gym members

Fantastic experience: Love, love, love the spin classes

Positive experience: Not too busy and has all the basic equipment that you need. My one downside is the leg machines are poor. If equipment breaks the time to fix is far too long.

Positive experience: Good gym, little small so hard to get on stuff when busy.

Negative experience: Machines take not days or even weeks but months to rectify. One treadmill has been out of order for four months..outrageous

But noticed machines out of order now for months and cleanliness is to be desired also getting too busy now especially when so many machines and equipment not working for so long if it wasnt for the weights and kettle bells and sauna would be going elsewhere!

Fantastic experience: Great, clean, spacious facility, good equipment, friendly staff.

Negative experience: Decent gym for £10 a month, but you get what you pay for. Not very clean (gents' varies from ok to minging) and broken machines which take an eternity to fix (2 rowing machines and a smith machine out of action for at least 2 months now). Will see if things improve

Positive experience: Place was stinking last few times been and a load of machines still not working....but for a tenner a month you get what you pay for.

Fantastic experience: Great place with all your fitness needs. I joined just before last summer and I am a regular now that has already reached my fitness goals. Great staff and you cant beat the cost. The only negative is there is no water fountains.

Fantastic experience: Good range of equipment. Usually not too busy so seldom need to wait to get access to machines, even at weekends. If you're in to classes there are also a number to choose from. Price is very reasonable!
