Positive experience: 24-hour gym , with all equipment necessary for any goals, it can get busy at times, but overall, everything is fairly accessible. Staff is very friendly and helpful. On the downside, showers need a touch of fresh paint.

Negative experience: I’ve been wanting to leave my current gym as not 24 hrs - tried to get a day pass - website offers try us for free option - they take your details, email number and then does not allow you to try the gym for free on same day and you have to wait for someone to call you and ‘show you around’. False advertising! Looking at other reviews it seems like everyone is having a nightmare with membership cancellation. For that reason I’m out! Bad reviews work!

Positive experience: The quality of the gym itself is very high and the equipment / facilities are very good. However, the contract you need to sign to become a member is quite awful and has made me spend a lot more money than I wanted to just because I moved away unexpectedly. Read the contract properly because they will chase for your money (even if you don't feel as if you owe anything). The staff try to help but can't do anything. Personally I'd advise staying away from this gym chain unless you can be sure you'll stay for a year. They will do everything to make you pay the full year.

Fantastic experience: Great Experience, especially personal training i went from 15% muscle mass to 30% which didn't take long. I didn't have much confidence at first but thanks to Rob who was extremely helpful and patient he made things feel a lot easier and not too nerve racking i accomplished a lot in a small amount of time which is amazing , ive also never had any issues of people staring at me first time i came to this gym, i felt welcomed which is what a gym is supposed too feel like, so anyone who's planning on going first time i 100% recommend this gym. Negative experience: I want to cancell my abonament after 1year and 2 months and i call on 2 september ..and they oblig me to pay for two months more ..they finish my contract on 31.10.2022.. i speak with management and was rude ..they do everything in their favor, not the customers...

Fantastic experience: Used AF Daventry for the first time this morning. Very clean, good range of equipment.

Negative experience: Pros Staff are always friendly 24 hour so you can go whenever you like New machines with screens and guided exercises Cons Locked into a years membership and was never made aware, yes I should have read the small print but not being made aware by the person signing you up is not right. Management was rude when I tried to cancel over the phone. They have hardly any cardio equipment in comparison to the leasure centre - 3 treadmills, a few rowers and a few bikes and only one of each weight machine. Meaning when it's busy it's really busy. It's always warm, the aircon doesn't seem to work well enough. The classes were never advertised. The showers never seemed clean. The foyer smells.of take away being next door to dominos and subway. This is all based on my last visit a few months ago.

Negative experience: This is the worst gym ever!! I’m with sciatica now 5 months, even at work haven’t been. Went to cancel the membership cos doctor told me can’t workout for some times “and they don’t cancel the membership!! The worst gym ever this one it’s!!

Positive experience: GYM Daventry has not enough equipment for the number of people exercising there

Positive experience: Only two benches 12 nearly months on is ridiculous. Worst part about it Clean environment, good showers.

Negative experience: Everytime I use the gym I end up getting injured as I’m hyper mobile,I spoke to a member of staff and he wasn’t willing to help me work out better for myself,I asked to cancel and was told no,it’s been nearly 3 weeks since I went back

Negative experience: Had an appointment today at 2:00pm to open my membership. When I arrived on time I was left standing outside for 15 minutes, nobody would answer the intercom or door. When I managed to get in via another member exiting I was told by an instructor “come back later mate there’s no one here can help” He could have said, “ I’m sorry let me see if I can contact her, or “take a seat I’ll see if someone can help” I then get a call from the person I had the appointment with, she tells me she was stuck in traffic. So stuck she couldn’t give me call to say she was running late. All the roads into Daventry are country roads with lay-bys you could park in to make a call. Terrible customer service, attitude, and professionalism. There are plenty of other gyms around.

Fantastic experience: 24/7 gym, the website/app and booking system is good.. it would be nice if the app told you how many people are in the gym at specific allotted times, so you can make a judgement call as to whether you'd like to go at that time or not. The equipment in the gym itself are nice and new, with ability to connect your smartwatch to sync data is a great feature; and even scan a QR code and a video pops up explaining how to use the equipment in-case you're unsure. The facilities are always clean; they also have safety features in place in-case you feel unsafe during unstaffed hours which again is a nice touch. Everything seems to be thought out!

Positive experience: For me it's perfect as I go very early in the morning or the middle of the night and it's empty. It gets pretty busy late afternoon and early evening. It's modern and exceptionally clean

Fantastic experience: Finally! A awesome Gym in Daventry, Staff are so helpful, and equipment is highest quality! Everywhere is so clean and tidy aswell. The staff are always approachable and happy to help. The price is good for what you get from the facility and equipment.

Fantastic experience: Been a couple times after work and it's a really nice gym... I reckon you'd be able to get a few more bits of equipment in though and still be covid friendly
