Fantastic experience: Really impressed with the entire team at DL Bolton today for the superb facilities and service they offered to my team and I for a corporate away day. We arrived and enjoyed tennis and the facilities before having breakfast in the restaurant before getting to work in a quiet corner which was perfect for our planning meeting. The atmosphere in the lounge was relaxing, clean and well set up for working as well as relaxing and chatting and it suited us perfectly. We had ample hot drinks and attentive service throughout the day, cleaning tables and clearing our glasses etc. Lunch was fabulous. Fresh, tasty and served promptly. We finished the day with team PickleBall which none of us had played before and we had a great time. The team were then able to enjoy the facilities and / or a glass of wine at their pleasure as part of the day pass. Very impressed and if we are able to return we would definitely be booking again for the next away day. Special thanks to all the team today but especially Lucy on reception, Danielle, Sophie and Danika in the restaurant and chef Ty. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: New member just started and am already blown away.. they really do have something for everyone, all ages and any ability. It’s week 1 and I’m booked on 3 classes, have my first PT session lined up and cannot wait to go for a dip in the stunning outdoor pool. Best decision I’ve made for myself in a long time.

Fantastic experience: A very good health club and gym! The equipments are always working and available. The facilities are clean, which is very important. If you are thinking of doing PT, try James. He is great at assessing your capacity and pushing you to the next level. I rejoined DL after several years away and can honestly say it is one of the best decisions I have made in recent times!

Fantastic experience: Kashif khan is such a motivation and makes a positive environment in the gym. Sam smith is such a good manager, my problem was quickly resolved. Like Batty always smiling, thank you for my towel.

Fantastic experience: We as a family of 4 joined the club approx 18 months ago and we've never looked back. The kids club Is amazing, the food in the club house is always spot on and there is something for all the family. The Little ones have had swimming lessons with leon for approx 6 months ans throughly enjoy them. I recently started training with James and his sessions are tailored to what I wanted. I have increased my weights and ability.He is constantly supporting me with nutrition and calories and supplement advice. He pushes me to my goals every session.

Fantastic experience: Food is always fantastic, healthy and affordable, staff are very friendly and overall a high quality gym.

Fantastic experience: I regularly use the gym and also have PT sessions with James (who is exceptional, he really understands my needs and has developed my technique so I use the machines in the right way. I would highly recommend PT with James, well I did as my wife also uses him as well). If I was to critique anything it is the amount of younger members (unsupervised) who misuse the equipment and it concerns me on safety for them.

Fantastic experience: I'd like to give a big shout out to Danielle for always being friendly and happy in her job. She is always smiling and ready to help when needed. She is very approachable and keen to make sure our visit is a good one

Fantastic experience: It's an expensive commitment but worth it for me. Over the last few years I've worked with PT Emma and massively improved my fitness, flexibility, gym confidence and mental health by putting myself first and taking the time to train. I also enjoy yoga/flexibility and tennis classes (with Matt) and love the sense of community at the club. Most people are friendly, the staff are supportive and I'm glad I'm ac member.

Fantastic experience: I have never been to any gym in all my years. I am 52 and feel so at home at David Lloyd. I have done classes, gym and swimming. I am now attending 4 to 6 times a week and LOVING IT. The staff make you feel so welcome. The gym changing room, toilets etc are so clean. I have eaten many times in the restaurant area and usually treat myself to. glass of wine!! I would highly recommend. Just go along and speak to the staff and they will be so welcoming and help in any way to make sure you are put in the right membership for what you want to do.

Fantastic experience: All staff are very friendly and approachable and the gym is clean and tidy. Spoke to Natalie who showed me around and i was very impressed so signed me and my 2 children up as members. They love the swimming and kids classes. They have a lovely food menu on too with lots of healthy options. Highly recommend 5 *

Fantastic experience: We have been a member at this club since August 2024. Natalie helped us with our membership. She really worked out the best deal to support what we wanted to get out of the club. I have started tennis again after a 8 year gap and have to say the people on the social tennis side of the club are wonderful. I havr had a couple of lessons with Alex and he is excellent. ALL the staff here are so very polite and can't do enough for us when we are here to make us feel at home. It's brilliant

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of David Lloyds Bolton for over ten years and I am still as pleased with the club. The club is kept clean and the gym equipment is updated regularly. I enjoy using the pool areas and love the outdoor pool . I would like to mention Abbie Wilson who on a number of occasions has been very helpful. Would definitely recommend this club for everything it has to offer and have made some lovely friends along the way.

Fantastic experience: Have been a member of Bolton David Lloyd for over 5 years now and I can honestly say I love spending time in the place. It has a feel good factor , all the staff are helpful and supportive and seem to enjoy there work which makes for a more enjoyable experience for sure. I do triathlon events and can genuinely say David Lloyd pool and gym has helped transformed my training , particularly in winter with the cyclone/ Wattbikes .Great facilities and class tutors / PTs too. Fantastic experience: Came for an induction last night. The centre were very accommodating to my work schedule and let me have a late evening slot. Tom who showed me round was very friendly and knowledgeable who put me at ease and showed me all that the centre had to offer. I have signed up today ☺️

Fantastic experience: Hi joined recently and I am very impressed so far. Fabulous site with lovely, clean facilities. I love the kids club sessions that run at the same time at the gym classes; the variety is excellent. He gave a thorough tour of the facilities and made me feel more comfortable about some of the hesitations I had about the gym. Over the past few years she's been so supportive of the events that our PTA have put on in order to raise funds - not only for our school, but for the local community groups and small charities we support, too. She's a real asset to the DL team, and it's lovely to see a big name in Bolton like David Lloyd playing their part to support the younger generations in their local town. Fantastic experience: Had our family induction and Abby was incredibly helpful. Even though we turned up a few hours earlier than agreed Abby took her time showing us round the facilities and answering all of our questions. we had no hesitation in signing up afterwards. We are new members but already feel like the membership is worth its well worth the money. The facilities are excellent.

Fantastic experience: Enjoy coming down to the club. Since the recent refurb, the club has a luxurious feel. Staff are always friendly, I’m always greeted at the door and when leaving. I especially feel like the gym equipment is a good standard to be able to lift well and achieve my fitness goals. Looking forward to my next visit!

Fantastic experience: I have used David Llyods for last 6 months. Really nice and well maintained gym. Staff are very courteous and always on the case with main gym. Classes , tennis courts, pool and spa all are best. Don’t look at price. You get what you pay for

Fantastic experience: My kids and I have been members of DL Bolton for almost 2 years now, and this is honestly the best gym/pool/club offering around. The pool, especially after the refurb, is great, with the option for outdoor pool also. The gym equipment is great quality and fully accessible. Even during busy periods, the range and volume of equipment on offer means I’ve always been able to workout when planned. Classes are really high quality, big shout out to the spinning, yoga and kids tennis instructors! My son has a lot of challenging needs and the staff/instructors at DL have always been supportive. Great food in the club house and I often take advantage of the workspace available during the day. Keep up the good work!

Fantastic experience: Nice modern club with good facilities and well equipped gym. Pool areas both indoor and outdoor, sauna and steam room all good and well kept too. Just signed up after doing a trial. Abby was a great help giving me a tour of the club and quick responses to any of my questions and provided an easy sign up process to join.

Fantastic experience: I enquired late Monday evening and by Tuesday afternoon I had spoke and booked for a tour with a girl called Abby. Having never been to a gym before Abby helped show me around and took a lot of time explaining and answering any questions I had and was not in a rush with me . I would 100% recommend getting a tour booked in and speak to Abby about getting started as I know she represents David Lloyds to the highest standards which it is known for. Overall the facilities are amazing and so many machines to choose from and a great selection of other sports like tennis and badminton and lots of car parking space. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: Really clean modern gym. Great indoor pools and sauna. Weight equipment is modern and undamaged. Indoor bar and seating area is really nice facility. My only gripe would be the outdoor pools despite being heated are still a little on the cool side and it was like that went I first went 4 years ago and again the other week…

Negative experience: I would give this place a zero! The way my complaint has been handled to date has been ridiculous! then for a sexual harassment complaint to be viewed as your word against his’ attitude is ridiculous! It’s an unsafe place to be in. And wouldn’t recommend this place to any female! 4 weeks and for now to only have it looked at is ridiculous! Very poor

Negative experience: Don’t recommend this gym too many pervs here and also staff is very disrespectful spend your money elsewhere there’s plenty of better gyms

Fantastic experience: Myself and partner had a tour with Abby from the New memberships team. She was fantastic, giving very clear details of all the different membership options , knowledgeable on all the brilliant equipment, explaining the range of excellent facilities and how you can get involved in the range of classes. She was very polite and helpful to all our questions and actually made our decision to join a lot easier with all the information provided! We’re very excited to get started being members here as the facilities and range of classes are a very high standard compared to other gyms. Highly recommend having a tour with Abby if you’re thinking of joining here!

Fantastic experience: Really good quality classes. I really enjoyed my trial but I can't justify paying a joining fee on top of £125m ( 3m membership).

Fantastic experience: Elisa, the chef, prepared an absolutely excellent breakfast pizza (the special for the day) which totally hit the spot after swimming for a few km. Thanks very much for great service from the rest of the team as well!
