The North Euston Hotel: Opinions
Positive experience: My first time staying here its a lovely hotel my room was upgraded and so spacious probably the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at the only downside was we had to wait a while for the food we ordered in the restaurant
Fantastic experience: A gem of a hotel, in Fleetwood - has a lovely ballroom. Easy to get into Blackpool on the Tram.

Fantastic experience: Very warm welcome , very clean , lovely room overlooking the sea , faultless, Excellent breakfast , would definitely recommend and stay there again , thankyou
Fantastic experience: Love this place it's the titanic of hotels grandure at it's best.
Positive experience: Another great experience at this iconic hotel. The fish and batter last evening 19th October was extremely poor and inedible and not fresh…cheap frozen fish comes to mind…so this morning I have the trots! Room was fantastic and recently refurbished to a high standard. Music blaring away from down below till I found my headphones and managed to drift off to sleep. Breakfast and staff brilliant as always. Love this place and normally the fish and chips are fab but not last night they were rubbish…and not cheap!
Fantastic experience: Had a special birthday there in a private room, food and service was 1st class.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful venue, staff courteous and friendly, decor is amazing, and lovely selection of drinks, plus wonderful views out across Morecambe bay,
Fantastic experience: We went here for a buffet reception after attending a funeral in Fleetwood
Positive experience: Rooms tired, clean but need paint
Fantastic experience: A superb place to spend a celebration of our grandson's 18th birthday. A very welcoming team, lovely bedrooms, very enjoyable food and an atmosphere of "will do". It was a pleasure to stay. Thank you team.
Fantastic experience: Close to the seashore, the twilight is stunning from here.Plenty to visit and see all around: lighthouse, park with statues, the old tram, crafty shops and so. Kind and helpful staff, good food.
Fantastic experience: Excellent hotel, definitely recommend a stay
Positive experience: We didn't stay here we just went in for food and drinks, reasonably priced pub food.
Positive experience: A old building and it shows in decor ,my bin had not been cleaned from previous occupants, at £90/ night ,I did expect better bedrooms need updating urgently, I gave the room 1 star, because the bed was sleep able v.good location right on seafront & staff was friendly
Positive experience: It's tired. Staff unmotivated. A little like the town unfortunately
Fantastic experience: I was there as part of a craft fair. Great rooms for events. Restaurants available are great too. Going back in November for another craft event (Christmas Bazaar)
Fantastic experience: Very nice place. I would come again
Fantastic experience: Great food, good service and good views over the promenade to the sea
Fantastic experience: Myself and my parents went for Sunday lunch and it was the best Sunday lunch we've had in a long time. Everything was cooked to perfection, tasty and the service were brilliant. Great place for food and lovely views too.
Fantastic experience: Nice hotel nice rooms good food
Fantastic experience: Stopped for lunch on Fish Friday £13.00 with a glass of wine. I have to say the best Fish & Chips I have had in a long time. The batter was so crispy and the Fish so fresh and white. Proper Big chips & proper mushy peas. I definitely recommend it. Service was excellent and very friendly and helpful. Came out with water for our little dog. Very dog friendly.
Fantastic experience: The bar was comfortable and quiet. Food order was made but 20 minutes later the waitress came over to say that the three orders coul not be delivered as they had run out of steak, even though it was a quiet service only 5 other people were in. The meal we had was fine.
Fantastic experience: Not stayed here just eaten here several times its fine .
Fantastic experience: Excellent food and service. Dogs welcome. Wheelchair friendly.
Fantastic experience: Really nice . Going for a meal for my friends birthday soon
Positive experience: Tasty meal. Mainly tap beers / lagers but also a hand pump ale e.g. Black Sheep. Roomy bar / lounge area. View across Morecombe Bay through tge windows. Well decorated in keeping with the history of the hotel. Must have been an impressive place to stay in the days of the Steam Locomotives when you could get a train from Euston, London all the way to this hotel in Fleetwood.
Fantastic experience: Lovely food and staff but they let dogs in the eating area . Not hygenic, really.
Fantastic experience: Went fir dinner, but I was too bust looking for sea shells and missed food ordering by 15 mins. But the staff were extremely kind and went on their phone to find us places still taking table service and recommend places. Beautiful beach, beautiful building. Even has links to Glasgow..
Positive experience: Menu looks good, beer not brilliant, nice history to the building
Positive experience: Only used the venue for a family gathering but we had a great time (take my rooms star rating with a pinch of salt as I never stayed)
Fantastic experience: Again we have enjoyed a lovely stay in Fleetwood. Hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful, thank you to Christine in the bar for helping our group and looking after us. Great the tram stop is outside the hotel. Really enjoyed the tea dance, ballroom is beautiful. Only negative is water pressure but age of hotel is probably reason.
Fantastic experience: Disappointed to not get the room with facilities I booked. But otherwise the service received by staff was very friendly ,Christine in the bar gave excellent service, she was very helpful looking after us.
Positive experience: We were here for a crafting weekend. All staff were polite, helpful and friendly. Some went above and beyond when I needed them. Breakfast was lovely, a good selection of cereals, juices, pastries and a cooked breakfast.
Positive experience: Beautiful Victoria-era hotel. Perhaps it’s seen better days but retains a healthy level of Victorian elegance. Abundance of elegant function rooms with ocean views.
Fantastic experience: Lovely hotel right next to the tram and bus stop. Room was lovely, very spacious and well decorated plus the bed was super comfortable. Only small downfall is there was a wedding downstairs on our stay and they seems to take over the lobby and bar areas even thou I’m sure they had their own function room, we ended up down the road at a pub called The Steamer which is very recommendable on any visit to Fleetwood.
Fantastic experience: Very warm welcome when we arrived- staff were really polite, professional and helpful. We booked a table in the Bay restaurant for evening dinner. The menu contained staples such as fish and chips etc but there was plenty of other choices available. Within a couple of minutes after being shown to our table the waiter went through the menu, took our drinks order and made sure that we were attended to. The meals were delivered piping hot, freshly made and absolutely delicious. Our room was a double on the first floor. Everything was clean and tidy. There was an extensive variety of hot drinks and snacks available. The bed was perfect, really comfortable with cotton crisp bed linen. We booked as a last minute, spur of the moment let’s do this kind of activity. We stuck a pin in the map and ended up here in Fleetwood at the North Euston hotel. What a brilliant find - I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. Five stars all round.
Negative experience: Only went for a drink afternoon and night and the staff there were rude towards customers and especially a pensioner who had forgotten to order ketchup for lunch and the staff were slagging her of to other members of staff disgusting
Positive experience: We called In for drinks and food - food was good quality but staff were rude
Fantastic experience: Went to a birthday day celebration. Very nice hotel. Drinks very reasonable.
Fantastic experience: Had lunch at the North Euston with my mum and the food was great(Fish and chips). The batter on the fish was light and crispy and the chips were excellent.Staff were excellent too
Fantastic experience: Unique location on Fleetwood promenade, some rooms are a little dated (some are more modern) but always clean and warm, drinks & food very reasonable and the food is excellent
Fantastic experience: Had Sunday carvery here today superb one of the best I’ve ever had nice friendly staff and lovely food
Negative experience: Not an enjoyable stay! During my 5 night stay I changed rooms 3 times. First room change was because I could hear people above me walking around thanks to the creaking floor boards and the band playing music in the pub below me. The receptionist during my checkout said my request for a quite room before 7pm was unreasonable… Second room change to room number 3 was because there was no hot water or central heating in my room. I was told this was an isolated issue only effecting my room. Once in room number 3 I found no hot water there also. I was later informed that the whole hotel would have no hot water or central heating for the night. I was given an electric radiator and 1 free drink as compensation. The heating and hot water issue was resolved the next morning but the fix was short lived. Two days after the heating and water issue was fixed it failed again. Reception staff at check out said I was an unreasonable guest with my request for a quiet warm room with running hot water and did not apologise for the inconveniences and failings to provide a restful stay. Despite the good location I will not be staying again at this ‘hotel’.
Positive experience: Warm friendly and helpful staff. Plentiful breakfast and large bar area to watch rv or have a relaxing drink
Fantastic experience: I have stayed at this hotel many times, over the years. The rooms are excellent, the service is very good and the staff are helpful and professional. Situated close to the sea front and near to the shopping area of the town. And transport links nearby.
Fantastic experience: Had fish and chips here.... Bloody lovely. Great location and great staff
Negative experience: I'm still in bed in the hotel room, so outraged. My partner, who always sleeps like a groundhog, is moving from one side of the bed to the other because the mattress is very weak. Her side of it is like bread loaf --mine is a little better. Apparently, all rooms "suffer from" the same mattresses quality --that's what the service person in the hotel told me on the phone when I called from the room at late arrival last night. She added that she could do nothing for us in the forthcoming half an hour because she was alone as staff and couldn't leave the reception. Maybe she was upset with me because it was the second room that we tried: we had asked to be moved because the TV set in the first room was broken.
Positive experience: Fantastic food brilliant service and great staff very well priced
Positive experience: Sunday Carvery..Good Food, served hot and fresh. Beautifully tender beef. Well organised and priced. Thank you for an excellent lunch
Fantastic experience: Rooms spotless and clean every where in the hotel was lovely and warm extra heaters and fans so can't go wrong cumphy beds nice breakfast definitely go back
Fantastic experience: Good location great staff food and drink highly recommend clean and pleasant lovely views.
Fantastic experience: Afternoon meal fish and chips good portion size very nice staff lovely dinning room
Positive experience: A hotel from the grand days of hotel builds. Good views from bedrooms out over the Bay. Stayed for 3 nights, breakfast and evening meal. Tram service into Blackpool. Good indoor Market nearby and a reasonable array of shops. There is a Web page for more information.
Fantastic experience: Great Hotel staff fabulous, they upgraded my room with no extra charge views to Morecombe Bay beautiful definitely worth staying here
Fantastic experience: Lovely hotel in a quiet location, staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food is good.
Fantastic experience: A fantastic night for my party last night to all the team staff who worked to making my evening brilliant. Thank you to the Bar, catering, reception, disco and photo booth staff. You need a bonus going out of your way with politeness and consideration to all including an incident which was dealt with promptly. Highly recommended Sarah Taylor
Fantastic experience: Been going there for years.the food and the staff are excellent. Plenty of parking spaces.right next to the tram stop.i would recommend it to everyone.
Fantastic experience: A staple of a great hotel staff are always 5 stars food is always consistent warm and delightful you really can't go wrong with the Euston been coming here for past 3 years and live over 30 miles away
Fantastic experience: I attended my sister and brother-in-law's wedding this weekend at the North Euston Hotel. The staff were amazing. The venue itself is lovely. The food was great and catered for all, including those of us who have coeliac disease (without any issues). Special Thanks to Steve, the wedding planner. He was so helpful, approachable, professional and thoughtful. I will say it again, the staff were brilliant! I would not hesitate in recommending this place to others...... Clare Charnley
Positive experience: Food and beer was great just a shame that no one cleared our table after finishing our meal. We would have stayed longer and enjoyed the lovely surroundings otherwise.
Positive experience: Went for Sunday lunch, good value ,staff friendly and they had a good singer on as well , will go again
Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for about twelve years and gradually you can see the changes that the management team are making to this historic hotel which as a customer is good. The hotel is situated on the sea front in Fleetwood and has good parking around the back plus ample free parking near to the front entrance. The town centre is only a short walk away and the hotel has the tram and bus service literally a few yards from the front door which is ideal for journeys into Blackpool which we use regularly when staying there. If you do use this excellent transport facility I would recommend buying the unlimited travel ticket which can be very good value for money. If walking is your thing like us,the promenade walk opposite the hotel is very varied and exciting If the tide is in with some spectacular waves splashing up.The promenade runs all the way down into Blackpool going through Cleveleys ,Bispham and eventually to the South shore or Starr Gate as its known. Going back to the hotel ,the staff are always friendly and helpful especially Julie on reception and Ozzie who looks after people at breakfast time.
Fantastic experience: We have just enjoyed our amazing wedding here, It is important that I stress how amazing the staff here are, especially Steve our wedding coordinator. Nothing was ever too much trouble, all the guest complimented on how beautiful the venue had been decorated for our special day. We loved every bit of this, the food was also amazing Jen and Graham xx
Positive experience: Although very busy the girls managed to get us a table, food was served in good timing too considering how busy the kitchen was
Fantastic experience: Just been for lunch, the fish Friday special . It was delicious, crispy batter lovely chips and a free drink. Well worth a visit
Positive experience: On account of the Hotel's location visitors and guests are rewarded with great views across the Wyre estuary, and sweeping round to the North East and across Morcambe Bay, to the Lake District. Also the North Euston overlooks a nice little park, Ideal for having a on a sunny day. Plus there is the added bonus of, being within walking distance of the Fleetwood to Knott End ferry, which is run by the local council.
Fantastic experience: Had a lovely stay at the North Euston Hotel. It has lovely views out over the coast. All the staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful, lots of smiles. The bar is really good as is the resteraunt. We stayed in the Wyre room which is a lovely big suite with fantastic views. The room as with the hotel was spotless. We had a lovely break and look forward to returning for one of the special function evenings. Would definitely recommend. All in all a nice hotel but the staff really help make it a pleasurable stay!
Fantastic experience: Used this hotel for a linedance event. Rooms, food and staff was first class. Great location next to the sea. Will be using this hotel again. Many thanks to the staff for all your help.
Positive experience: Use the bar for a stop over pint, friendly staff and good service.Food is good too
Fantastic experience: Whent for Sunday lunch in bay restaurant it was lovely booked to go again. 1st visit was for a belated birthday mom loved it
Positive experience: At the Hotel today following a friend's funeral. Buffet provided was very nice. Staff were very friendly. Function room was very nice.
Fantastic experience: Just had a weekend break here , we had a Seaview room and breakfast , and really enjoyed it ,would definitely be coming back again .
Fantastic experience: I chose this hotel for a local place to stay for my elderly mum whilst she had some emergency works carried out on her flat. The staff are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was full english and looked delicious. Special thanks to the Manager, Karen on Reception and Katie for being so accommodating.
Positive experience: Rooms a bit dated but seemed clean enough. Convienient location for what I needed. Food was okay, staff very helpful.
Fantastic experience: Looks deceive outside bit run down however the room was fantastic clean and very spacious with a sea view staff very friendly food good highly recommended
Positive experience: A lovely hotel in a lovely area. The staff were excellent, the rooms were spacious and very clean, and the view was great. The only negative for me was the unusual bed. Very wide but quite short. I am 6'4 and my feet hung over the end more than usual. The bed was also very firm and the pillows were awful. Take your own if possible. However, it was a great visit
Fantastic experience: We had a nice cold drink today, to early for lunch, so we will be back. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Positive experience: Room was good as was the bathroom pillows were a little on the hard side food in the bar breakfast and dinner very good as was the service .
Positive experience: Just had lunch here twice and was very good but portions could be a little bigger for the price.
Fantastic experience: This is our third stay at this hotel we upgraded our room and we were not disappointed friendly staff . Simple but good food .nice bar area. Clean hotel. Prices very reasonable. Situated opposite a very nice promenade.we will return for another stay soon .well done to all the staff
Negative experience: Not the best. Dry rubbery chicken. Wasn’t informed about the offer that my child could have eaten for free if I’d ordered a main instead of the “deal” with a drink that was more expensive than most of the mains. My drink was a water under £2. Could have gotten a main and a water for the same price and all my kids food for free. Mentioned this to a member of staff (that chicken was also dry and tough),all she said was that all members of staff can’t remember all the deals…. No apologies about the food etc. why have offers on if you’re not going to inform about them? Saw a sign and realised…
Fantastic experience: Stayed here for the weekend of the Lancashire and Cheshire Federation of Scottish Societies AGM and dance. Good food, good service, helpful and knowlegeable staff.
Fantastic experience: Went on Sunday for mothers day dined in the Bay Restaurant had 3 courses and the choices for each course was amazing food excellent wife booked for Easter afternoon tea for 2
Fantastic experience: A group of 4 us stayed here back in November for our friends wedding Our rooms were very clean and to a very high standard, replaced towels if you left where they told you e.c.t. I did have a problem with my heating as the radiator didn't work, and was very quick to sort it out. Can't fault the staff they was very chatty and very helpful and we had a good laugh with them. Food was lovely and done a great job on our Friends wedding day. Was one to remember. We will be back again when down that way. Thankyou to the whole team.
Fantastic experience: We had always wanted to stay here. Nice big room recently refurbished. Lovely bathroom. Great breakfast. All the staff very enthusiastic and helpful which is becoming of a family owned hotel. Many events planned. Would recommend and stay again. Great views of the Lakes and Morecambe bay.
Positive experience: Staff especially breakfast staff were unapproachable. Perharps it was because we were black but they were standoffish Food also was basic. Couldnt even see what we wanted- had to order it and was treated like we were free loading
Fantastic experience: Stayed overnight after an Elvis tribute night. All staff very friendly and efficient. Room decorated to high standard. Food excellent.
Negative experience: Been dining here for many years, our lunch on the 1st. December 2022 was dreadful. I was served by a male with a beard who's attitude was poor. We waited 45 minuets for the food to arrive and when it did we wished we had left. The chicken breast was overcooked and dry. I ordered gammon which had peas on which l don't like and when l told the waiter, who was the same person who took my order, that it did not say peas on the menu, he started to argue but left quickly. One egg was fine, the other was again very much overcooked. On the plus side, the gammon was fine. There are a lot of other places to eat in Fleetwood which we shall now be dining at.
Fantastic experience: Georgian splendor with rough n ready local warmth. Food. Drink and Service. Warmth, comfort and booze with a mashing view. If you don't love it. You don't get it. I've not stayed here so can't comment. I bet they're nice too though.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful old hotel were Agatha Christie stayed. Inside is modern enough to have a lovely break and over looks Morecombe Bay . Lovely for a quiet stay .x
Positive experience: Old hotel with big rooms, double was 2 singles pushed together so wasn't comfortable. Windows leaking so toilet tissue stuffed in the gaps. Was fine for 4 days while on course. Couple of staff that need a course in customer service. Beer was nice, lines obviously kept clean, food was decent.
Fantastic experience: Popped in for lunch.. delicious. Staff very friendly, helpful & efficient. Then we were joined by a couple of friends.. stayed chatting over drinks al afternoon.. really enjoyable experience. Would recommend a visit ... this was a repeat visit for us.
Fantastic experience: Arrived for Murder mystery again, which was amazing. Staff are so helpful and work extremely hard. Been a few times and we have never been disappointed.
Positive experience: Had a late lunch quality of food and beer brilliant. Staff very good service excellent toilets v good
Fantastic experience: The food was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful especially Stephen the Hotel Manager who assisted us with all our wedding arrangements. A special mention to Polly, Christine and Simon for being so helpful and polite, making our wedding an enjoyable experience.
Positive experience: I've stayed at this hotel a few times.so that should say something in its self. It has an old world feel about it . very competitive price. The location is excellent, fantastic view to the sea approaches to fleetwood. Downside is that the breakfast changed to a buffet. The staff keep a steady supply of freshly cooked items. Cheapest bar I've been in for a long time. Great staff. :)
Positive experience: Echoes of Victorian splendor. A little tired in places but made up for by the marvellous staff , they were amazing. The menu is varied and the food was good quality, well good and plentiful and very reasonable. Everything you could want , great veiws and central location
