Fantastic experience: Just had a booking schedule issue with swimming lessons. A lovely person i believe called faith handled the matter within 10 mins. Thank you very much.

Negative experience: Free parking but we got premium ticket

Fantastic experience: Went in for information and to renew my blue badge parking card. Absolutely first class service by a council lady employee. Made visit on Wednesday last week completed forms and received my new badge 5 working days latter. Thankyou a real pleasure, lovely professional lady attended to me.

Positive experience: Has a great variety of exercise classes on offer and a lovely little cafe. Gym is a little bit on the small side though. Nice friendly staff on hand and the class trainers are great

Negative experience: Very poor management and they often confuse me with there rules like the gym is free and they dont send me any updates on the pool closing so never visit this place

Positive experience: Use the swimming pool on a regular basis. Pool closing for a year from end of September 24.

Negative experience: 1. Poorly maintained and missing equipment at least three dumbbells are currently missing equipment wise I have seen things break before now whilst in use which is poor maintenance. 2. Hygiene I don’t think I would be the first to notice certain stains in the men’s changing rooms are there from day to day in toilet and showers! 3. Reception four out of five times I have walked to an empty reception put all feedback on a postcard I guess.

Fantastic experience: I personally like Wellington because it's a typical old fashioned town and market. There's an inside and outside market with the pic-n-mix stalls with friendly stallholders. There are also plenty of 'greasy spoon' cafes and the more upmarket ones if you prefer. There is a small town square with the main high street with a variety of shops and supermarkets. Also there are top end clothes shops, hairdressers, beauty shops, gift shops.

Fantastic experience: My Granddaughter has swimming lessons here the tutors are very good

Positive experience: Went to register my new Grandson. Clean and the staff were very friendly.

Positive experience: My wife and I enjoy our twice weekly swim, which helps to keep our joints moving, and at our age, we do need all the help that we can get. The staff are all very friendly. The pool is closing in the next couple of months for a complete refurbishment, but no date has been provided to us yet. The refurbishment is going to take about 10-12 months. As Telford alternative pools don't have suitable adult swimming sessions. We will be travelling to Wem, during the refurb. If we buy the 12 month membership package at Wem, then our twice weekly swim session will cost us £1.20 instead of the current £1.70 at Telford, the savings will go towards the cost of petrol.

Fantastic experience: Easy access, helpful staff.

Negative experience: Disappointed I was there for a coffee while my wife selected some books. The notice said they would open at 10.00. When we left at 10.30 it was still not open. Other customers also voiced disappointed

Positive experience: Friendly staff Amble parking, with 3 hours free parking

Negative experience: The toilets are dirty, urine all over the floor, Rusty toilets, smalls very bad.. it’s a shame really as it could be very good as the people are nice and friendly and the staff.

Fantastic experience: Had to change my son's swimming lessons from Shortwood Primary school pool to wellington as the pool at shortwood is tiny and no progress was being made. This is the 1st time in going to the pool and what a difference it is compared to Oakengates (normal pool) and shortwood the substitute pool. It is bright and airy and spectators are poolside, not outside! as at shortwood. The pool is bigger and I can see my son progressing from stage 4 to 5 quickly. The changing rooms are a breath of fresh air, hopefully with the new refit at Oakengates (the local) the universe will be in balance A big thumbs up Wellington. X

Positive experience: Easy to park, used the civic offices, not the leisure centre

Negative experience: I only use the gym here. Gym and centre facilities are good. However male changing room is a problem. Twice in the last week, there has been no available lockers and I had to carry my clothes around with me. This is because they are either broken or selfish people take keys away. I have reported this to staff lots of times over the last 3 months but it only gets worse.

Positive experience: I've been training for years but this year I'm trying different gyms out. I went in on a day pass I think it was £6.40ish. Very clean and mostly machines. I went early morning on a Saturday. Around 5 people in. Over 50s. Staff were polite. I think the music was a radio station. Something like heart or kiss. I'm can't remember. But good music. A pleasant experience.

Negative experience: The changing rooms can get very grubby at peak times, the stalls seem tired. Whenever I try to call after 5pm it just rings and rings with no one answering. Some of the kids on reception aren't very customer facing. The pool itself and the gym facilities are very good, it just needs the standard raised a little and seem like some staff to just care more!

Fantastic experience: Great sauna . Gym to small.

Positive experience: Overall a great place, library/cafe/classes are all great however the gym is too busy at all times of the day (even at opening time) and very expensive for somewhere where you have to wait in a long queue to hand in a card to get into a cramped gym, also the resistance equipment often feels like it is sticky and needs oiling so it’s harder to use but you don’t feel like you’ve had a proper workout afterwards. Personally preferred the old equipment. However the main issue for me is the fact there is no way for gym members to scan their card to gain access to the gym, waiting in a line is very annoying especially when you have to queue after using the gym to reclaim your card. This had made me late for work in the past and i would have reviewed 5 stars if something was done about it in the years I’ve been a member! These issues have stopped me using the gym several times and unfortunately will be looking for somewhere else in the area. It’s a great asset to the town, and if you want a family friendly place, or you use it during typical working hours, this is the place to go!

Positive experience: A Very good place to work out. Gym is alright but got swimming pool to practise swimming and Gacozi to chill out. Have attached the different Gym equipments that is available there!.

Negative experience: Absolute misery guts on reception (young girl, pale, black hair in a ponytail), not a clue what she’s doing working in a customer facing role, attitude of a pig. Reason for visit was to go to the spa; I’ve never been to a spa facility that is so hot in my life!! You walk through the doors and the main rest room is like the sauna. Spoils the experience, as you can’t actually rest between jacuzzi/sauna/steam etc. On top of that, there is waaaaay too many chemicals in the jacuzzi, or only does it hit your eyes as you’re in the pool and ear the water, it hits you as you go through the door to the facility itself - so you can only imagine how bad it is when you’re in the jacuzzi. It’s pretty much rendered I useable.usually stay in these places a little over an hour, lasted 35cminutes here and that was only to try and get my moneys worth. The place needs looking at badly.

Fantastic experience: No complaints, it's a good leisure centre - good range of classes, lots of equipment in the gym and the pool is a good size. Reception staff are always so friendly and helpful.

Positive experience: We used the health facilities e.g steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. These are good facilities however they are quite small and one of the steps was broken leading to the jacuzzi. Although I’m sure they are cleaned there is visible signs of rust in areas and general scum. Makes it feel a bit grubby. Almost perfect. Staff are very polite although reception does get busy and at peak times it would be good to have multiple people.

Negative experience: The wasn't much to like about lock-down but standards of hygiene were high at least. I take my granddaughter on Sundays to Wellington pool and cleanliness is lacking. The changing room floor is filthy and I suspect the lack of regular cleaning is the cause of the verruca I am nursing on both feet! Today: filthy floor, selfish clients leaving clothing in cubicles while they swim and many cubicles without anywhere to sit or place dry clothes. Maybe it's better in the week? Never see a mop on Sundays.

Fantastic experience: Beeb a while since I visited this location in Wellington, Telford, the last I went was before the lock down period. My mum and Jo got married at this location, it was clean, tidy and well maintained.

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for a few months now with my partner for swimming. The staff are always friendly the changing rooms are clean and dry with ample space. Hairdryers are provided for free but you need to bring a 20p for the locker which isn’t refunded. The pool is the standard 25m and ranges from 0.90m to 1.80m.

Fantastic experience: I went with My Daughter inlaw and My Grand Daughter to her Swimming Lesson on Tuesday as she's doing great the Leisure is really nice and the Changing Rooms are Realky Spacious and there's even Haif Dryers to dry your Childs Hair so they don't carch a chill, .. I was really Impressed and the Waiting Area to watch your Child Swimming was open plan with plenty of bench type seats to sit on, its a bit hot if your watching your child Swimming so take yourself a cold drink and wear some light weight clothing other wise you will be sweating when you come out lol,......Helen C.

Negative experience: Wellington Civic & Leisure centre, Wow, I visited it many times for holiday activity for my children, so I recommened to the parents visit this centre, and car park available and free.

Fantastic experience: Genuinely a nice place I used to go swimming there and library but I mainly use the gym. To this day I've had no problems with this place it got friendly staff and reasonably cheap prices to go swimming ect (With TLC card)

Negative experience: Receptionists ladies are so rude and misbehave with us. Don't know what's the problem to answer if somebody new to area and this center. It was my kids first day for swimming and because of these ladies my kids felt so uncomfortable and ruined their day.

Negative experience: New refurbishment is awful, machines are hot trash, look good because they're new but feel terrible In addition to that, went in today to look at the new refurb only to come out and find they have lost my cars Serious not happy

Positive experience: A bit unfriendly especially in the cafe area. Only do white bread sandwiches with basic fillings. Seems under used especially with regards to.its prominence in the area.

Positive experience: The building is very modern in the outside, which is nice! But the swimming pool has no windows, so it looks dark and musty. Also, the pool looks like it hasn't been cleaned in around 20 years.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, clean facilities (99% of the time, occasionally you wish you had flip flops and tissues before going into the toilets), showers are fine, heated floor in changing room are fab, good size facility, good variety of classes and times for classes.

I'm here in health suite now Else, and the spa pool isn't open again and the sauna isn't even hot. If it's not sorted then il just have to move on. Thanks
