Positive experience: We go diving here, I don't really speak to centre staff as under the water the whole time but all seem friendly. Sometimes when there's football matches on parking can get tight but always find a space.

Fantastic experience: Very good mulitsex changing rooms, good sized kids pool and large main pool with many lifeguards looking out for you. The spectator area is a nice addition for those not swimming. Very warm inside the pool area.

Positive experience: I swim outdoors and I find the pool here too warm, and I think I got accustomed to wild swimming and the chlorine here makes me poorly. However its a nicely run pool, some broken tiles need fixing round the edge. Good value, easy and free to park (most of the time) and it doesnt get too full. Parking sometimes an issue in the evenings. Conveniently close to Dominos if you feel like replacing the calories you burned off exercising.

Positive experience: Clean, basic but functional.. just wish we weren't limited to an hour.

Fantastic experience: We had our son's 5th birthday party here, and chose the inflatable obstacle course and bouncy castle party. The kids had an amazing time - sweaty faces and smiles all round! The party was really good value too - for up to 30 kids (we had 17 in the end) it was £230 - for this we got the whole sports hall, with a lovely inflatable obstacle course and bouncy castle (for 1 hour), 3 nice young people who watched the kids to make sure they were being safe, and a party room (also for an hour), which had been laid out nicely with a happy birthday banner, a little disco light, some balloons, tables, chairs and colorful plastic tablecloths. They really made a lovely effort, which we weren't expecting! We just added some music with a big bluetooth speaker, and it made for an awesome party. The staff were also really accommodating - we had asked them to set up a table so we could offer some drinks in the sports hall, and asked if they had an urn we could borrow for the parents to have tea and coffee, chairs for parents to sit on, etc, and they provided all of this (and set it up for us) at no additional cost. Highly recommend!

Positive experience: The recent additions to this community gym have really modernised and brought in a fresh appearance, making it even easier to spend more time in this very friendly and uses easy contactless access to the gym. The access times should be revised by anyone looking to join, as access is shared with the William De Ferrers school. There is chart music played in the area with music videos on screen too, as well as Air conditioning, water filling station and anti bac stations. Sadly there are no lockers, changing facilities or showers available with the gym. There is however a great swimming pool on site which is included within the membership, and has isolated changing cubicles and group showering facilities for anyone who is swimming. Courts, swim sessions and excercise classes book up fast, so its advisable to book well in advance to ensure you get in as there is limited spaces with most activities. There are food and drink vending machines on site with a seating area, and a viewing platform for swimming competitions and events too. Staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, Brian gives great induction classes on sign up or taster days. ️‍♂️‍♂️

Positive experience: This is my gym where I keep fit st least twice a week. Check it out there are all sorts of fitness classes here from a fully fitted gym, squash, spinning a great restaurant. Facilities for receptions catering etc.

Positive experience: Gyms not got much equipment, nice and quiet tho.. but expensive to join just for the gym and tbh I'd rather pay and join the one down the road because it's better and cheaper! If using swimming pool and gym etc then it's a different story it's worth joining just because it's the only public pool in town

Positive experience: Went with a local friend to a weekend kayaking session at the pool. Very impressed with the level of care & cleanliness in and around the pool facilities. The 'infinity' type pool edge meant that with the water level at the same height as the surrounding walkway, both the young and the old found it much easier to get in and out of the pool.
