Fantastic experience: Clean. Huge. Great service. The signs were not too clear so you were left kind of guessing. But a great space. The tennis courts were not well insulated so still quite cold even though it’s indoors

Negative experience: Cool place, but my grandmas playlist hits more than this, reminds me of the time I worked at the morgue.

Negative experience: I've never been to a climbing gym that so actively refused to teach people what they want you to know to climb at their gym unless you pay for a private class. What a joke.

Fantastic experience: Awesome people, awesome climbing. I just wish the bouldering section was bigger!

Negative experience: Be very careful using the westway car park. Euro car parks who manage the parking charged me £40 for staying over their 5hr limit in the car park. It goes from 5hrs to 7 days, meaning if you stay for kore than 5 hours you have to pay for 7 days worth of parking. That for face a £100 fine for non payment of parking!

Negative experience: The gym is awful. I've been a member for a week and everytime I go I'm grossed out, there's never any tissue or 1 spray to clean the gym machines with, weights with the rubber ripping off, music WAY too loud - even with my music on full blast I can still hear what they're playing. I complained about there not being tissue and 40mins later no one had come to replenish it - they said they got in contact with their team and someone will do it! There were 3 people sat at reception, surely one of them could have done it. They also advised a pool, there isn't one. The only reason I go is because it's close to home.

Fantastic experience: This is the best indoor court in London, in my opinion, Should definitely check it out. Also, they have a shop right next to the entrance, very convenient.

Positive experience: Good gym just fix broken machines quicker

Negative experience: Gym has decent equipment, mediocre cleanliness (there's constantly gravel from the playing fields in the changing rooms. Staff is usually desinterested. Many machines have defects or are poorly maintained. You have to cross multiple gates to get into the gym, each of them having difficulty scanning your card. Alternatively you can scan a QR code on your phone, but you have to access the app and tap twice as well as wait for it to load for multiple seconds. They recently upped their price from £22.99 to £24.99 They are advertising a swimming pool being included but the only one that's actually included is in a gym somewhere in the countryside Overall a mediocre experience With the price change I will now fully switch to my second gym - Coach gyms in Holborn.

Fantastic experience: It was my first time here and I must say this is a very very clean gym. I was so impressed. When you enter the centre you are greeted with lovely staff. All facilities are exceptionally clean and spacious.

Negative experience: Unfortunately it is not possible to give 0 stars. Worst service ever ! I came at 10 15 to rent a racket, as expressed on the website the option was there. The shop was closed and the receptionist answer was: “next time you should bring your racket”. At the end we had to find a soliton on our own losing 30min of the hour we paid. Obviously no refund policy or apologies was included in the service. #cheap

Negative experience: Staff were incredibly unhelpful. When the showers were freezing in the changing rooms, they were unhelpful and seemed to think it was fine that the showers were cold. Similarly, when in winter the changing rooms were freezing and I asked if there was a way to turn the heating up, they just shrugged. The services provided at this gym are not worth the cost of the exorbitant membership prices. Additionally, the supposed benefits that come with each membership (i.e. guest passes, access to pool) don't exist. Tried to use a guest pass and was told I couldn't. There is no pool at that location and the next one I am allowed to use is miles away. Honestly this gym membership is not worth the price.

Positive experience: I haven't been to Westway Sports & Fitness Centre in West London, but I prefer to go to Waddon Leisure Centre more than anything else.

Positive experience: Smiley staff. Good facilities. It's owned by everyone active. Everyone active's website is pants, so getting up to date opening times and getting a hold of them for an enquiry is rough. I'd give this 5 stars if issues relating to membership could be settled through the leisure centre directly, and if the opening times on Google and their website matched up.

Positive experience: Been going for 15 years or more. The place is not what it used to be. Route setting and grading very variable. Some friendly staff, some very aloof. The place needs a new manager to restore its place as London’s premier climbing wall

Fantastic experience: Best climbing gym in london.

Positive experience: Really good route setting with a lot of variety, and the comp wall is super good! They have also started using the "wideboys" crack holds setups on a few routes which is great! Highly recommended for climbers.

Negative experience: Staff: aggressively not interested in their job. Imaging a ball being kicked onto a neighboring pitch. Takes them easily 5 minutes to bother and stroll up. Don’t hope that they would have a ball pump. They miss the mark by a mile. And are certainly over staffed. Facilities: generally good football pitches. High standard. Showers and changing rooms have 80s ambiance. The cleaners are actually good. Still. Not inviting. Cleanliness: last weeks game impression: empty and full beer bottles on the pitch combined with trash and leftover foods. Disgusting and given the price paid not ok.

Fantastic experience: Hands down one of the top 3 best climbing gyms in the London area, especially for lead climbing (they have the tallest indoor lead walls in london). The bouldering is also really good here, some interesting and challenging problems. The staff are really helpful and always there for advice. I don't really top rope but they do have really good top roping areas, a traverse wall, autobelay and a small but effective gym area with dumbells, plates (no bars or bench/ squat racks), they do have weight belts, weighted vests, triceps dip bars and hang boards. I would highly recommend this place to any climber! (Oh yeah, no tops off policy. Sorry guys, I know, you'll lose 10% climbing power, but it's worth the tops on for this gym). Climbs range from 6a-8A/B on the lead comp walls (think I saw an 8C one time), and VB/V0-V6+ when bouldering. Top rope ranges 4+/5-6c/7a I think. So there's climbs for literally all abilities.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience here ! Rock climbing proved to be an amazing adventure for my 6-year-old son. The friendly staff ensured a safe and enjoyable environment, making sure he had the right equipment and guidance. The colorful climbing walls and exciting routes kept him engaged and excited throughout the session. It was heartwarming to witness his sense of accomplishment as he conquered different climbs. We're truly grateful for this fantastic introduction to the world of rock climbing at Westway Sport Center. It's an activity that fosters confidence, physical fitness, and a love for adventure. We can't wait to come back this week for more memorable climbing experiences!

Negative experience: UPD: cancellation policy is a joke. They don’t refund you if you got sick and have to cancel in less than 48 hours in advance. They make the slot free of course and especially for prime time slots people will book them, so they make double money. Very nice centre with tennis courts with a convenient booking system via app. There are 7 indoor courts and all of them are good quality. The showers and changing rooms are descent quality. Can definitely recommend

Fantastic experience: A really great place for all kinds of sports

Negative experience: Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to bring to your attention the extremely poor customer service experience that I had at your leisure center, Westway. My family and I were looking forward to attending an event for children that we had found on your website. However, our experience was completely ruined by the attitude and behavior of your receptionist, Tracy. When we arrived, Tracy was on the phone and only gave us half her attention when we approached her. She initially told us that there were no bookings, leaving us worried and stressed about being in the wrong place. After I asked her to double-check, she eventually found the booking, but gave us the wrong pitch number. When we couldn't find the pitch, she became rude and unhelpful, accusing me of having an attitude when I asked her to clarify the pitch number. My children even overheard her making derogatory comments about me to another customer. This kind of behavior is not only unacceptable but completely unprofessional, especially in front of children. Even after I dropped my children off, I had further questions about the facilities and gym memberships at Westway. Tracy was dismissive and unhelpful, telling me to look online and have a nice day. The overall lack of customer service and professionalism displayed by Tracy left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. As a first-time customer, this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I am reconsidering whether to continue using your leisure center's services. I urge you to take appropriate action to ensure that other customers do not have to experience the kind of treatment that I received. Fantastic experience: These iconic football pitches are symbolic of Londons football culture. If you would like to get a game in, there is no better place in the capital.

Fantastic experience: We had the loveliest experience. My partner was rope climbing for the first time. The instructor was so nice and patiently explained all the knots multiple times. Made us feel very safe! A lot of walls and good auto belays.

Fantastic experience: I recently had an issue which was extremely well handled and resolved by the general manager, Ian. He was extremely responsive, attentive and compassionate. He is a true asset to the Everyone Active brand.

Positive experience: This place is situated between Paddington & Hammersmith under the A40 flyover. Boasts 4 outside Futsal pitches plus 1 full size 11-a-side 3G pitch.

Negative experience: It really annoys me when businesses try to hide their pricing. I'm just trying to figure out how much does an indoor tennis court cost per hour.

Positive experience: Pleasant site in what seems a difficult area but not sited where I'd feel it was safe to come and go at any time under the Westway flyover.

Fantastic experience: Ingenious use of space under a major roundabout. The small cafe does an excellent range of shakes and smoothies. Great atmosphere and outdoor sports facilities slap bang on the middle of a dense urban area.

Positive experience: Usually play football here, the astro turf pitches are very good, most have been replaced within the last 2 years. Fairly decent facilities but could be better.

Negative experience: I can only speak for the Tennis and unfortunately is not good. Inside courts are ok, expensive and the lighting is blinding when you serve. Outside court are only two and the lines are invisible even after numerous request of repaint. The shop (tennis) has ridicules opening hours and the stringing service is a shamble. The management is totally unresponsive and careless to the needs of tennis players in the community.

Positive experience: I like the building itself, the vibe is really cool with its tennis courts, and the gym is not small either, tho there could be more machines but it’s good in general. Price is good too. I used to pay £30/month for the gym only, and I had been training there for more than a year.

Positive experience: The football pitches do not have showers or changing rooms, a bit weird. Being under the bridge makes it possible to play even when it is raining which is a plus

Fantastic experience: Great climbing and awesome staff, best place in London for route climbing, good but little bouldering and lots of good top rope routes. The setting is very good too. Been climbing here for almost 6 years now.

Negative experience: Disorganised staff, was told a pitch was available to play on over the phone, drove over then got turned away by another member of staff. Clear lack of communication between colleagues who don’t seem to care about customers and waste your time. I highly recommend you go somewhere else if you are looking to play football.

Fantastic experience: I know go there for the Eton Fives near the tennis courts and the boxing academy, the reception staff however are usually rather polite and the prices are quite affordable, the security even are easy to get along with, overall very good place.

Positive experience: Brilliant facilities. Just wish they would maximise usage on non peak hours by dropping prices to £3 per player. So all could afford. And then atmosphere would always be buzzing

Fantastic experience: After getting back home i realised i forgot my protein shake bottle in the gym, i phoned the reception to inform them, and Eva took full responsibility trying to find the bottle in gym area and changing room before anyone steals it or anything. Fantastic experience: Amazing centre - one of the best climbing walls in london - arguably the biggest by number of routes and they are also frequently changed - also a great coffee with smoothies inside - westway staff is also always very friendly

Positive experience: Only been here to play football, the facilities are limited- one changing room for all pitches. Showers are warm but it's button press timers which last about 6.5 seconds a push. The pitches them selves, really do vary from pitch to pitch- some seem to be converted tennis pitches maybe, and are very narrow which makes it hard to pass. Some of the pitches are covered by the West way, which is great when the weather is rough, but again the size of the pitches vary, and some of the ones furthest from the centre are tiny- barely wide enough for a 5 aside penalty box. There is also a decent looking 11 aside pitch. In terms of the gym,I know it has a pretty well regarded climbing gym, and as far as I can tell a week stocked weights gym.

Fantastic experience: I climb here whenever I am in the area and did some of my CWI obs at WW. at least 6 or 7 of our family are members Great facilities. Well rated walls. Lots of variety. Experienced expert instructors. If I had to find a negative, it sometimes feels a bit shabby. However, that's probably because it is so popular and well used. Let's say it's "lived in".

Positive experience: I am a big fan of the climbing wall at westway where you can find a very large number of routes for all levels and of a decent length. I think 5 of 6 of them have automatic belaying so you can go without a partner. Huge section for bouldering as well.

Negative experience: Children should not be undertaking outdoor pursuits underneath a motorway. I cannot understand how this is acceptable from a health and safety perspective.

Positive experience: Decent sports facility which is great if you're looking for a place to play squash in West London. Squash facilities are hard to come by in West London and their prices here are reasonable. Courts book by the half hour which is helpful. Staff are nice. It's an alright gym but is in a pretty grungy area so be careful. Close to Portabello Market if you're looking for something to do after your workouts!

Positive experience: Great gym, I get a really good workout with the weights and cardio machines!...The staff are friendly and helpful. There is alot going on here, some which I use include the climbing, which is awesome and the football pitches are excellent! Also, the coffee shop sells good tasty food and very nice coffee. Only 1 downside is that it can get very noisy, as there are usually alot of children shouting, they are having fun, so can't really complain. Generally, the sports centre is a superb facility! ... During the pandemic there has been zero social distancing and zero hand sanitising in the gym! This is mainly due to the loud boisterous members!

Negative experience: It used to be friendly affordable. Enjoyable. Something has changed. It's a real shame

Fantastic experience: Very good venue for many sports, including (but not limited to) tennis, football, swimming and climbing. It is a very accessible location with on site parking, allowing ease of access. To further help with this, it's location in London makes getting there fairly easy (it is underneath the A40). Overall, a very good place to learn sport and/or relax, depending on your preference.
