Porthcawl Health & Fitness offers a large range of equipment to suit all abilities, including running machines, cross trainers, free and fixed weights, training area, a fit room with boxing equipment and a large fitness studio where we hold classes 7 days a week. We also offer personal training with our qualified personal trainers Gareth Charnock and Steve Powell, at unbeatable prices. Our facilities are of the highest quality with state of the art equipment where no expense is spared.
We are now doing live online classes via Zoom please download the Zoom app and we will in invite you to join the class. Please note you will also need to be booked in via the normal app you will then get invited.

Negative experience: Unsure of the facilities, walked down on a Sunday as their hours show them open. Hours pinned to the door show closed Sundays. Unfortunate comms failure.
Fantastic experience: Sports massage Absolutely amazing!!! I was in agony for for 6 months with my back pain after having my daughter and Gareth has helped me, now I’m almost pain free I’ve been having weekly sport’s massages and will continue to visit gareth to help with my recovery. I will also be joining the gym and taking some classes when my back has healed.

Fantastic experience: Excellent facilities, the classes are great and no two classes are the same. I often do spin classes but I never feel bored of the routine as the classes are really varied and so is the music. Recently had a 1-2-1 with Victoria Jones to bring my fitness up as well get my core engaged. The session was awesome, I really enjoyed it but I was pushed to my max. I don't think I have trained like that for 10 years from when I did martial arts, we did lots of different exercise in reps and we used gym equipment as well as kettle bells. I honestly didn't stop hurting till 4 days later. It felt great to feel muscles that I forgot were there. For me, the private session had exceeded my expectations, I felt energised and pushed further than I would push myself. Looking forward to my next session.
