Fantastic experience: Great gym , lots of equipment and free weights and lots and lots of classes to choose from, however the classes need to be booked in advance as some are very busy and have waiting lists!

Negative experience: Excruciatingly annoying! Travelled into Harrogate for 30 minutes with my toddler for a swim. On arrival signs up saying pool closed. I called twice in the morning to no answer to enquire whether the pool would be open so not to have a wasted journey. I understand that their ONLY communication is through an app that you need membership to access. Why isn’t this also publicised on Facebook, website or other means. Why have a brand new facility without the means to open it. Pretty pathetic. Won’t waste time again.

Fantastic experience: What a difference a smiling, helpful receptionist makes. Arrived this morning, 6th March bit unsure how to use this leisure complex. Could not have been more cheery or helpful. I wonder if the management thank their team?

Fantastic experience: Brilliant Leisure Centre now after the recent renovation. Great pools, gym and fitness rooms. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming.

Positive experience: Extremely cold, especially in changing facilities. Kids pool on weekends is available only for party hire in afternoons. Staff treats customers in different way. For example, some customers can use snorkeling goggles and some not. Or for someone they give 'swimming noodle ' for the main pool, but for others say 'no, it's for lessons '. Knaresborough swimming pool is 10000 times better, but they are too busy to let everyone in. Can't win.

No judging, all ages, shaoes n fitness levels.. so nice to have this great place open again. Clean n fresh, new equipment. So reasonably priced. Swimming pool good, changing rooms better and a steam room/sauna which is great fir a 10 minute sproose after a workout. Community, nice, highly reccommend.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic facilities, state of the art equipment and friendly, knowledgeable staff. So pleased that the Centre is a mere ten minutes walk away. I am very grateful that such an amazing facility is so close to where I live.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with great equipment. Busy with youngsters after 1630 which is a bit annoying as they are not monitored and run riot but other than that, great gym.

Positive experience: Changing rooms could be warmer showers more comfortable and last longer and there's no kiddies slide. Cafe seating and wasting area are comfortable though and the water is much cleaner than it used to be. needs to be a clearer timer display and also a proper clock in the pool area. Not sure if the turn style access to changing rooms is really necessary...

Negative experience: Please revise your timetable: I've had two instances where I arrived with my 2-year-old daughter for a general swim in the learner pool, only to be informed that we couldn't use it due to ongoing lessons. This occurred after we had already paid and changed

Positive experience: It's a pool

Fantastic experience: Take kids every week, they love it. Always clean and tidy, well staffed, reception and life guards always lovely, polite and helpful. I know its due for refurbishment soon, hope they put EV chargers in the carpark as this is its only let down currently.

Positive experience: Not as good a location as the previous Coppice pool, I'm not so keen on these exercise facilities where you have to do drive there and add to your carbon footprint. Why can't we same time, money and help the climate by getting our exercise as part of our everyday routine by walking and cycling places rather than driving to places? Apart from that everything else was fine.

Negative experience: I was with my friend at the genrel swim yesterday and in the last hour of my swim my friend has brought her ball to play with so we were playing with it and the ball hit me in the face and it made me jump so I screamed quietly bare in mind there was knly 3 other people left in the pool and this life guard came up to me and shouted at me to stop screaming because its distracting when I did it once I am very upset with this.

Fantastic experience: Soon due for a closure for a refurb but pool is still good. Swimming membership is good value for money as you can use other pools in the area.

Fantastic experience: It's a great pool, with sauna &steam room. The gym is great and the group exercise classes are very good

Negative experience: Baby pool was too cold, our 16 month old was shivering after 20 minutes. The showers were also pretty filthy and it was only 9:30am. My husband said the main pool was good, but was surprised it felt warmer than the baby pool. A real shame.

Positive experience: Mice pool but does get a bit busy in the main bit because of the lanes roped off. Changing rooms are cold.

Negative experience: What’s the point of having a number to call when nobody answers it and after hanging on a minute or two you get cut off!! Tried different times on different days never any answer!!

Fantastic experience: Could do with some more lighting in the main pool area, showers are nice and hot

Positive experience: Nice pool, but water temp is way too high to train properly in and not much control of who goes in what lane. Some people here swim in the fast lane that have no business being there or even the medium lane. Lifeguards could/should control this better. Still, friendly staff and nice facility.

Fantastic experience: Lovely place with three good sized pools. Went recently for daughter's first swim and it was warm enough in the smallest pool. Decent changing facilities with lockers, showers etc and easy online booking. Will go again.

Negative experience: Very disappointed! We booked a family swim. Half the big pool was used for Lane swimming, no big deal as there was still plenty of room for families. One gentleman lane swimming in the 'family side', lifeguard spoke to him and then we were all told to get out of the main pool and use the the baby pool! Totally unacceptable as our LG is ten as we're lots of other children. Please do not advertise as a family swim if the main pool cannot be used for such! Your website gives the impression that normal sessions have returned, clearly not, all in all pretty rubbish Sunday evening..If the main pool is not open on family swim sessions this should be clearly stated on your website..

Fantastic experience: Largest swimming pool I've seen in the UK, except maybe the Olympic park in London. Huge shower and toilet facilities as well with family changing rooms. Overall clean and well-priced

Fantastic experience: Enjoyable time swimming with family. Clean changing rooms and well thought out covid measures. Staff very helpful and cheerful.

Positive experience: Pool and changing rooms were spotless. Only negative was a person in the slow lane was overtaking so social distance was not possible. When telling attendant she just said the other lanes were full so she could do nothing about it. Not being funny if you can swim fast you can swim slow. Whereas slow swimmers can't swim faster.

Positive experience: A good sized swimming pool with a shallow pool for little ones and a multi use pool for a range of activities as it's floor can change its depth - from adult standing depth for play to deep for the diving boards. The main pool is a short course size (25m) ideal for competition training. The pool rating has been reduced as the changing rooms were not as clean as they could be and the toilets were pretty grim. :(

Fantastic experience: Good pool- plenty of space, early morning lane swimming is well disciplined. Friendly staff, modern and up to date facilities. Still find it hard to get my head round communal changing facilities, but it all seems to work. On site refreshment facilities which seem welcoming and a pleasant place to be. Plenty of free parking.

Positive experience: Nice pool, a 25 metre lane pool, a small shallow pool and diving pool with a few boards. One appears to be 5 metres high. Dissapointing how much it cost for one general swimming. Way high. They do have a full program. Lane swimming for swimmers that like to go at 100 mph, fun session with big inflatable, great for kids.

Negative experience: Although the pool is clean and good early morning swimming is awful. Opens 07.30 for anyone wanting to work this is too late . The etiquette is dreadful. There is hogging of the same space by the same people in the non lane swimming. And if you are a new comer don't expect a warm welcome. Lane swimming is poorly controlled by the life guards. This is the worst pool in the country in my opinion. I can't wait to move

Negative experience: Visited this afternoon during the fun session with my 3 Year Old son. We spent our time in the learning pool. My only issue was that the pool had a number of 7/8 year old boys who were throwing a ball around which hit myself and son a number of times. The life guards could of asked them to move into the larger pool where there were less small children.
