Negative experience: What an absolute joke. CANCELLED ON THE DAY OF MY SONS BIRTHDAY. Claiming some sort of damage in the car park? IM IN THE CARPARK! There is NO damage. Cancelled on me at 1:50 and party was supposed to be at 2:30. I was be following this up legally. That’s out of order and now I have a heart broke child who won’t have a birthday party.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, nice pool. Good fun with the floats for the kids. Lanes are spacious during lane swimming. Old school site which hasn't changed much since the 90s.

Positive experience: Great place for children to learn how to swim but do not buy anything very expensive £15 + for goggles

Negative experience: I take my son for swimming lessons here and it’s dreadful. The swimming teachers who look after the younger classes are not prepared and the kids spend most of the lessons waiting around. Also no feedback or attempt to give the child any confidence. Go elsewhere…..

Positive experience: I love this place..not only is it near my home but in the morning its lovely and quiet and calm for my morning swim. I pay £31 per month which is excellent price and for this I could do a lot more classes such as pilates or yoga...I will try them one day...reception staff lovely and friendly.

Positive experience: Grown up coming here, a lot of good memories made. Went there the other day amd staff were lovely, life guard was giving me some pointers getting involved in the session which he didn't have to do and it made it more fun

Negative experience: You can never swim here really.. Its always booked up with other pool things going on !

Negative experience: Well organised, clean and always happy with my experience there. Edited two weeks later. Staff didn't seem to be well organised today. I was questioned at the door about my payment done online - however online it's a family swim that doesn't state ANYWHERE it's one adult and child is free, thereafter each adult pays. It should be called adult / carer and child swim not FAMILY swim. Paid for a session at a specific time and entered the pool at specified time however when entering the pool, I was told session started in 45 min not now. Try telling that to a 1 year old that. Not a very pleasant experience at all this time round which is such a pity considering I always highly recommend Penlan leisure centre.

Positive experience: Go here 4 times a week, pooches gone bloody cold lately, loads of room when booking, but life guards need to tell people from earlier swims to get out of pool after there 45mins, they stay in the pool swim in the wrong lanes, and makes it to crowded for the next swimmers, but lovely size pool, nice changing area, showers hot

Positive experience: Visited this centre as part of my membership, disappointed of the size of the gym but I guess it it what it is you can still do a FBW, however the main reason I went there was swimming pool - unfortunately it looks old inside, old tiles in the changing room, not looking good, not smelling good. Pool itself was smelling bad and was white? Lanes were very wide don’t understand that. For a plus definitely a good amount of guards watching out

Positive experience: Seems well kitted out. Swimming pool and gymnasium. Just been to a kids birthday party where they set up three bouncy castles, my children had an absolute blast.

Negative experience: I have opened to discontinue swimming classes but I am still been charged for next 3 months and none from the reception could help. Just waste of time chasing.. Very unorganized!

Negative experience: Paid £13 for a family swim, got into the pool at 6:10 and was told our swimming was over at 6:50 even though the family pool was quiet with only 3 families there including us. What a rip off for a run down old leisure centre.

Fantastic experience: Just went there for a swim.Thoroughly enjoyed my time there.Pool is a good size and people there are super friendly. Don't know about other activities at the Centre but I have returned for another swim session since my first visit last week. I really like this place.

Fantastic experience: Always choose to come here fir swimming with the kids. A big shallow area for the little ones while confident swimmers can go in the larger pool. Lockers take a £1 coin/ trolley token...you get it back. Good selection of drinks/ snacks/ Costa for after. Really friendly helpful staff.

Positive experience: I go for the swimming, decent size pool, can be busy but as long as you book online you can tell which times are the busiest. Clean premises and unisex changing rooms, but do have private cubicles and even crubicled showers as well as public ones.

Negative experience: Music is very loud ended up walking out of the pool area and sat in the car, the pool staff like the loud music, as you could see them bouncing in the chair, my concern is what happens if someone is in trouble and the can't hear them

Fantastic experience: Given 5 stars for the only place I have found that has a cold shower available for after the swim (in the men's changing room). All the other places I have been to in Swansea have only hot showers.(They have hot ones here also for the faint of heart).

Fantastic experience: Busy place - lots of activities going on. Plenty of free parking. Considering we're in a Covid situation, staff doing their best to maintain rules. Swimming pool great, not sure if pool activities for children are taking place. Cafe area in the foyer a bonus after a swim .

Fantastic experience: The staff are nice and welcoming. There's a big pool for all abilities, and a little pool for learning. Lots of classes that are quite fun. The gym is a decent size and the people are friendly, which is always nice.

Fantastic experience: The kids block booked swimming lessons and 3 month gym memberships are pretty much equal to Swansea City Council Amenities Friendly, approachable, helpful staff which always adds to a pleasant overall experience. The changing and shower facilities are clean and well maintained. The swimming and gym coaches are engaging with the children making their swim lessons and fitness training both informative & enjoyable :)

Negative experience: I been using this centre for 20 years. In the last 3 years i have lost 75 percent of my sight i joined back up and would only come 1 hour per week a member of staff would guid me to the machines i would be fine on my own using them then all of a sudden i was told i couldnt train anymore unless i had a carer the staff became vague and lost interest or just couldnt be bothered even tho its there job to help customers.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic staff, everyone gets along well and new faces become familiar very quickly. A lot of people respect others and the machines and equipment are outstanding.

Fantastic experience: Just a message to thank Gareth Grinter for the way he helped me,I am diabetic and after a swimming session my sugar levels dropped I felt really ill I had a bottle of lucozade with me but Gareth stayed with me till I was feeling alright and later he phoned my home to see if I was alright many thanks Gareth top man, see you in the week, Geoff Ham

Positive experience: Nice place to swim in the 25m pool. There's lane swimming, Jacuzzi, and children pool. Haven't used gym so can not comment on that. There's is a dry and wet changing facility to use also.

Positive experience: Recent gym refurbishment was long overdue, but the facilities there are great now. Would really appreciate new badminton equipment thought. Membership is reasonably priced.
