Fantastic experience: My son went to a cricket tournament got to semifinals and plays in soft play very good

Fantastic experience: Plenty to do, readily available, good clean facility. Kept the kids entertained for hours with minimal expense

Positive experience: A nice sports centre. Lots going on. There is also a gym that i don't use, so I can't comment on it. Toilets are not the best but does depend on which ones you use. There is a food court with a few choices of food, snacks, and drinks

Negative experience: Impossible to cancel account, they never answer the phone. No one knows what to do about accounts, all outsourced. Be careful. Most of the facilities are soviet quality anyway.

Fantastic experience: Only popped by as my child was doing a cycle event arranged by his Beavers group, and was impressed by what I could see. Ample parking, manned reception and a little cafe (perfect as we were waiting here during his session), polite staff, and outside was a great expanse of playing fields and a decent cycling facility. I imagined he would be in some playground-esque set up but actually there is a dedicated cycle track, at almost 1km circumference apparently, so a great off road, safe way to enjoy some cycling! My lad really enjoyed the event.

Fantastic experience: Our children loved the cycling and had a great time whilst my little one played in the soft play

Positive experience: My daughter broke her leg on one of the astro turf pitches, obviously this sort of thing happens but I was surprised and disappointed that the centre and staff had no plans in place to get her off the pitch, they had an indoor wheelchair but didn't want it outside, we had to carry her. I imagine ankle injuries are expected fairly regularly here so think perhaps they should think about how they can safely and comfortably get people off the pitch. They also let me drive around to the back of the building closer to the pitch, which was great... before telling me as we were leaving that they could have actually let me drive closer. They have a defibrillator, because of the elevated risk of heart attacks, which makes sense, but no stretcher or wheelchair or easy vehicular access to the pitch for when someone can't walk.

Negative experience: The café is brilliant.. he is conscientious and does his job well...the female receptionist is very welcoming and helpful.....the odd one or two staff let it down.

Fantastic experience: Went to dog show here. It's a very spacious hall and there's ample car parking. The cafe is lovely and staff really friendly.

Negative experience: Lied about time said Astro at 2:30 but then3 then3:30 ridiculous pitches never ope

Negative experience: They were saying that it would be open at 2 now it’s nearly 4, lying about time, wasting mine and my friends time

Fantastic experience: YES! at last somewhere that caters for older children's parties! Ellese and her amazing staff ran my twin daughters Archery party today. It was so nice to see organised fun! No little children to worry about knocking over (min age limit is 10) all the children had a great time and several were even sad that the party had finished. After speaking to staff they are hoping that the Archery parties can also be held for work team building exercises, perfect as they also sell alcohol. I cannot recommend the staff, venue and Archery party highly enough, here's looking to having our next party with you!

Positive experience: Just called in to have a look at the bowls centre

Fantastic experience: A good safe space for kids to have fun, get fit and be with their friends. The facilities are kept clean and tidy. Shop prices are fair and they have a good variety of snacks available.

Fantastic experience: It's a very nice area and the staff are very nice

Positive experience: We do the roller skating session that happens every Saturday at sports village, which we do as a family. My daughters love it. The hall is huge and flat so ideal for skating. Only down side is that there is no sound dampening so music is OK, but spoken word instructions for the games is really hard to understand due to the echo - if they fix this I'd give 5* as the venue is great otherwise.

Fantastic experience: Very nice and clean place to stay with child for couple hours, smaller than some other soft places but my daughter loves it! And restaurant has a nice food with great prices. Defo coming back

Fantastic experience: Great for birthday parties - We held our daughters birthday party here at the new soft play facility. It was great, we catered for ourselves but used the cafe for drinks etc. We had a great space to use, staff were so helpful. The games they played with the kids were a big hit. We all had a fab afternoon and would definitely recommend for kids Birthday parties!

Fantastic experience: Great facility for many sports. Shrewsbury Storm train and play many games there across all age groups. Other activities include the gym, exercise classes, netball, badminton, football and children's parties with bouncy castle.

Negative experience: Only serving hot chocolate and tea at counter! Floors were so slippery in Sportshall, one of our players slipped over and broke his elbow! Men's toilets were foul smelling!

Negative experience: Had my covid vaccine and anted to use the ladies room and was told that they did not allow non members to use their convenient rooms. So unfriendly and dismissive. Even the manager on duty confirmed this. Shocking, can never join such a service.

Fantastic experience: Main purpose for the visit was a covid jab. I have used this centre for years and the investment in gym equipment is marvellous. The staff are a pleasure to deal with.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic instructors, lots of support and guidance. A great range of classes and a really accessible timetable and app to book gym sessions and classes.

Positive experience: It was lovely to go back to the gym after having missed out for so long. My partner is a member, and they were able to accommodate me as a free trial for a week. Having never been there before, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The equipment was of a really good standard, and they have put appropriate measures in for social distancing (I.e. squares on the floor, limited number of people in the gym, cleaning wipes at hand, etc). On one occasion, we were told we weren't allowed to be within the same square, despite being from the same household - the staff member insisted that was still the case, however he did not explain the reasoning why, which we thought was non-sesnical. Overall though, a thoroughly enjoyable experience and would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Excellent multi sport venue, with friendly and helpful staff. All weather pitch , MUGA courts and large sports hall, plus indoor climbing wall. There's also a cafe on site for food and drinks.

Fantastic experience: Had a phonecall to say my son has been injured playing football and the ambulance will be 2 and a half hours.. we turned up to take him ourselves and found him as comfortable as he colud be and wrapped in a heat foil, the staff and people at the sports village were both very professional and very kind to us all there.. thank you so much.
