Switch Gym

Fantastic experience: I joined Switch following surgery nearly a year ago and have benefitted from expert guidance from Zoe who worked with me to restore my confidence and fitness level. Gareth is also very approachable as are other staff I see less often. It is spotlessly clean with decent changing and shower facilities and free lockers. Well designed with a great range of equipment with a lovely welcoming environment. I'm proud to belong to Switch...it's a real gem !

Fantastic experience: I was previously a member at pure gym but decided to make a change. Best decision I ever made! There’s a great variety of equipment and you never have to queue to use it. Very clean facilities, staff are so lovely and friendly. Such a lovely environment!

Fantastic experience: Great gym, has everything you need to get a good workout in. Polite friendly staff and owners. Selection of educated personal trainers and staff always on hand to answer any questions or give advise. I've been a member for the past 5 years and its been a pleasure! Highly recommended - 5 stars all round.

Positive experience: Myself and my daughter went for a trial session. Small but nice and clean, free lockers which is always a bonus, the staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel relaxed and we are both a little anxious. It was quite male dominated (clearly not a reflection of the gym) I liked that there seemed to be a range of ages and fitness levels. I will say that the membership price without the AXA healthcare promotion would be way too steep based on the opening times and facilities. However based on the AXA healthcare it's very worthwhile

Fantastic experience: I have been a member at switch for a few years now. This is the best gym I have ever been to. I feel so comfortable here, it’s not intimidating at all. The staff are so friendly, they are always around to help whether that’s for a spot, help with your form or even just a chat. Even though the gym isn’t as big as commercial gyms, it has everything you need for a good workout.

Fantastic experience: Decided it's time for an update on my review since it's been a while! I've been coming here for a year, and I still really love it. The staff members are super chill, and some of them are even my friends—shout out to Gareth and Ann! One of the owners, Zoe, is also amazing and excels at her job. Everyone is always happy to offer tips and introduce me to new exercises. It's an excellent gym for your initial choice, providing the atmosphere of a small gym with a non-intimidating environment. If you're somewhat introverted and looking to dive into a healthier lifestyle, it's really good for you!

Fantastic experience: Friendly and small, but no means limited gym. Not usually too busy either so I can get my workouts done. Great if you don't want a gym that does classes. They're incrementally adding equipment too as well as fans to combat hot weather.

Positive experience: Bench, squat rack, raised lifting platform, plenty of benches and fat grip dumbbells up to 50kg. It's small but it has everything you need. They also do pay as you go. Friendly staff.

Positive experience: Switch Gyms is competitive price wise for haywards heath however £34 is still alot to pay a month for what you get the gym is very basic and is probably best for people that have a clear idea of what they want to do (and that is weights or machine cardio).
