Fantastic experience: Been using the leisure centre for a very long time,parking is good,staff are friendly. Gym has had a refit and is now a lot better.

Positive experience: Nice bright clean open space..shame the food is disappointing and over priced..

Positive experience: Great place for the kids, need to work on their flexibility around times & sending people to the back of the queue for arriving 10 mins before an activity rather than 6 mins before when they let people in.

Fantastic experience: I love the Wellness suite.It has been very benificial and the people are very friendly.

Negative experience: Previously told by reception staff that 10 year olds allowed in softplay. However yesterday our 10 year old grandson had to sit and watch grown men going down yellow slide. We made a complaint to staff and the manager.

Positive experience: Good. Lots of swimming classes, gym and other classes. Great soft play but it's expensive so only put 4 stars due to this.

Fantastic experience: A modern, newly fitted gym with a swimming pool and activity center. It also features the Soho restaurant, a play area for kids, a beauty salon, a barber, and a hairdresser.

Fantastic experience: I occasionally use the gym here and its a great facility. A brilliant array of apparatus to use for a variety of different users. Always clean and tidy, can't fault the place.

Positive experience: Like that you can just turn up on the hour and get a spot, even if there is a birthday party there. Plenty of parking, large softplay for all ages, a little one separate from the bigger kids too. Nice coffee at Soho to enjoy whilst the kids are playing. Like that's it also had a code to try in the softplay so you know the kids are safe. Toilets are close to the softplay too

Negative experience: Went today, and although I live in yate and have a pool in yate I always target Bradley stoke as it just feels more friendly, cleaner and better for kids. Not to mention the great showers, however having young children I always book a family swim in the small pool. Got there today and even past reception and in to the pool only to find out small pool was shut all day. Why could I book small pool if it was shut? Why was I still not told at reception it was shut?? Being in big pool with a 2 year old was hard work and had I of known I wouldn't have gone. Poor work Active of Bradley stoke!!!

Fantastic experience: Great local leisure centre. Mostly use the gym and it is a very inclusive gym with great friendly staff. Range of classes is also good, but you need to book early to get a place.

Fantastic experience: Council run so good value great facilities, 2 pools, indoor climbing wall, workout rooms, sports hall, conference and party room's.

Negative experience: Disappointed at the lack of response to my complaint! Well over a month since my complaint and I've not heard a word, even after sending a second complaint! Told our session of soft play was finished after 20 minutes! If you want to get your moneys worth don't bother going here, and go somewhere that offers a couple of hours soft play, and doesn't have RUDE staff! The staff are usually very nice but this particular member of staff was very rude to myself and the rest of our party! Such a shame as I always had nothing but good things to say about this soft play but we won't be returning! Will stick to Playshed or Jump in future!

Negative experience: Yellow Slide VERY unsafe - needs immediate action. I went down with my nephew on my lap and we both flew up in the air repeatedly banging down on the slide. I landed on my hand / little finger which still hurts and am expecting my leg to be bruised. Barely managed to hold onto my nephew. I could have easily broken something had I landed in the wrong place and certainly for grandparents a high risk. A shame as the rest of the soft play is brilliant. Also there’s a bit of sharp wire sticking out of the climbing frame in the little park outside!

Fantastic experience: Large leisure centre with good parking, facilities - gym, pool, sports hall etc and a good size cafe open until 8pm. Friendly security guard at the entrance.

Negative experience: It’s amazing the cafe doesn’t take cash. It really helps out when showing my children how to budget and use money. What a ground breaking idea.

Positive experience: Taking the kids to their swimming lessons! A good leisure centre with lots of amenities. Lessons are well structured and staff are approachable. Star removed for funny smell in changing rooms by the pool!

Negative experience: Free weights area needs to be much bigger! Waste of time going between 3 and 8pm. Loads of space on cardio though, doesn't make no sense.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful and well equipped leisure centre. I visited on a Sunday morning, it was very busy and despite this the place was very clean. The staff is courteous and helpful, great place to drop the kids at the play area.

Positive experience: Pool isn't normally too busy during the week, plenty of changing facilities but not the cleanest. Bottom of the pool often looks like it needs a bit of a scrub

Fantastic experience: Good gym and pool. Struggle on some days to be able to swim due to other booked activities/events. Check out of pool rota in advance of any visit.

Positive experience: The price is high for the quality. They should clean it more frequently and check the quality. Some of the cues in the baby area is broken for long time ago.

Fantastic experience: Spacious gym, great equipment for all needs. Swimming pool is clean, large and organised. Only downside is the £1 lockers. The gym itself offers memberships from ages 13+ or younger.

Fantastic experience: The leisure centre is great clean and full of amenities. I got a gym induction that was friendly and useful only thing I would say is all the lockers in the gym are £1 to use which you get back but you then have keys for the duration which is very annoying and not very germ friendly it would be easier if there as space for you to put your own padlock less contact germs and I dont have to carry keys while at the gym because I don't always have pockets.

Positive experience: My two kids have swimming lessons here, they are both getting along well and enjoying their sessions. The teachers remember their names too. My youngest daughter Abigail had a climbing party here aswell. I think they would benefit from a few more staff members, as it takes a while for them to unclip the kids. Overall enjoyed the party and kids will be continuing swimming lessons in the future.

Positive experience: The gym is always really busy- there are plenty of cardio machines but not many weight machines so you sometimes have to hang around. The smart technology is great but I can't update my own plan- I have to ask a member of staff which is frustrating. The pool is great and there are loads of clean changing rooms and lockers- although some look a bit tired.

Fantastic experience: I liked that they take safety procedures seriously. The kids said it was nice experience.

Positive experience: Not bad. But need more staff to clip and unclip kids. Also, one person is not enough to get all the kids in harnesses quickly. So time time everyone was ready kids had only 35mins of climbing from 1hr session!

Positive experience: Yes we enjoy it ! But please sort this car park out 2 lanes are so unuser friendly that one has to walk over two grass areas to get to the entrance and exit road taken though so called bus lane ??? Won't bus ?

Fantastic experience: Made use of the pool. The place is always clean and tidy and the cafe has a good selection as well.

Positive experience: This is my local gym. The leisure centre has taken a hit since covid with services and equipments getting out dated. Classes are less, climb centre is pretty much closed. Gym equipment are still good and up to a good standard but they need to be checked and updated especially the trade mills. Lovely and friendly staff. Cleaning can get better and more often especially in the swimming and changing areas.

Fantastic experience: One of the advantage of living in this area is having quick access to Leisure Centre. Kids love it.

Fantastic experience: Amazing local amenity for residents to have access to. Great (if slightly over priced considering Costa and Starbucks are a 5min walk away) Soho café, soft play, climbing walls (aimed at children), swimming pool (25m plus smaller kids pool), gym, sports hall, library, hair dressers as well as rooms where loads of local clubs operate from. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Just make sure you book in advance for swimming as it gets quite busy.

Positive experience: It was a noisy affair. Full of happy children. Uneasy most of the time because of the confusion in the place. It seemed like a good place to take the young ones just don’t take it as a place to rest. You have to be more alert there than crossing a busy road.

Negative experience: they care more about 15 year olds lifting weights than helping the people in the gym

Positive experience: I was using the Physiotherapy clinic inside the sports centre. Which is very good, but I can't comment on the sports centre itself, as I didn't use that part

Negative experience: Timetables aren't on the website, and nobody answers the phone. We were interested in rollerskating sessions but the information isn't available anywhere

Fantastic experience: Great place with a lot of sports based activity options. Especially love that the local public library is inside as well. The swimming pool is great, good size, nice temperature and good chlorine levels (I can swim with no goggles here easily). Nice sized carpark and easily accessible. So close to so many food places.

Positive experience: Went here for my sons birthday party. The soft play was great for the younger ones and my son and his friends all loved the climbing area. Staff were all generally friendly and helpful. The "party room" was rather underwhelming, no decorations or music, just an empty room with a long table with seats. Overall good value for money

Fantastic experience: Great leisure centre. You can spend all day here. Swimming pool is good. Amazing soft play. Even a lovely small playground. Great library. And clip and climb for the older kids. What tops it off is the really helpful and friendly reception staff.

Fantastic experience: Have never previously visited this leisure centre but today took our granddaughter there for a softplay birthday party. Really impressed with the softplay and from what I could see the other leisure centre facilities look very good.

Negative experience: So disappointed. Dont even know where to begin. My 3+ year old son joined his 1st ever swimming lesson and since then its been a torture. The coach is not helpful at all. Apparently its not their job to make the child at ease. My son went on really well with the substitute coach so the problem obviously is not with my child. I tried to cancel the future lessons but ive been forced to pay for another month as the policy is to cancel a month before but I only joined a month ago. Stuck with bad service.

Fantastic experience: Good place for all keep fitters. Great pools and plenty of things for adults and children. Ball park, gym, and climbing room. Places for a meal or just coffee. All looked very clean.

Positive experience: Overall a nice place to visit, FOH always polite and friendly. The cleaners are always friendly and work hard to keep areas clean, shower heads could do with a clean though, is there a chance that a shelf or something practical can be put in shower areas to put items on rather than the floor? Fantastic experience: Amazing climbing wall for parties, reasonably priced for 8 children with access to a party room after for your own use. All the children enjoyed themselves. Booking easy over the phone via the contact centre.

Fantastic experience: Broadly excellent, with a wide range of services, excellent soft play, a great swimming pool, great children's pool and clean, well maintained facilities and changing rooms. Ample parking and prices are okay. Facilities best I've used in region. Staff are here and there, mostly good (I was not impressed by the reception lady who took ages admitting a swimming pool entry, no we don't all want to book online, I should just give you money and walk in, not need to give you contact details and everything).

Positive experience: Great swimming pool. Very warm with 2 pools. Staff seemed friendly and helpful especially front desk. The staff member on front desk when I visited was friendly and quite happily engaged in conversation with a smile, making you feel comfortable and relaxed. It also has soft play area (presumably for kids aged up to around 7) The centre also has a hair salon and the coffee shop is spacious but the prices are very high! They have a small outside areas with a small climbing frame with a few table and benches. The great thing about this is that it’s completely enclosed. A great centre with lots to offer something for everyone at all ages.

Negative experience: Booking system issues I'm trying to book morning swims for this week, but there appear to be no bookable lane swims before 1130 each day when I try to book via the app. The timetable shows swims available. It's impossible to get through to book (or query) by phone, and I do not want to just turn up for a 0630 swim only to discover that there isn't one. Layering this on top of the shockingly glitchy booking app, which frequently tells you that there are no bookable activities on a given day (unless you quit out of it and come back in 3 or 4 times), this is far and away the most frustrating part about using your network of leisure centres. I have raised this issue several times over the last year via this page, via the app feedback facility, in person at reception, and out of utter frustration, via Google reviews. Only the Google review (which appears to have gone missing) received an acknowledgements, and none provoked any meaningful response.

Positive experience: Nice pools and facilities. Swimming Lessons are very varied and teacher dependent. After 18 months (post COVID and no opportunity to change) of inefficient, inconsistent teaching, lots of changes, lesson cancellations and poor communication. We have changed teachers and now have a truly brilliant teacher.

Positive experience: Had a pedicure on Saturday and then promptly booked a manicure for the Monday. Have been here before, and have always found the service excellent.

Fantastic experience: Watched granddaughters having swimming lessons for preschool age, it was a lot of fun for the children in the group, Bradley Stoke has very good changing rooms & Shower area, all clean & plenty of space.

Positive experience: Great leisure centre visited with family who live locally. Pool not too busy at all and changing rooms nice and clean. I would say they need to keep an eye on the cubicles and take baby tables out so people can use them as a lot were in with families not needing them, leaving baby rather cold whilst waiting for families to change for one to be available. Also pool side showers were freezing!! For someone with sensitivity would of been great to have had a warning that they were, was very painful.

Fantastic experience: Went to small pool swimming for the first time in about 18 months. Everything very clean. Staff all extremely polite and pleasant to talk to. Only had 3/4 hour swim but hopefully longer next time.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience. We went for a family swim in the small pool and because of covid we had to book half the pool to do so. This meant we had a super relaxed experience, with loads of space for zooming about. The pool temperature is great for a baby. It's shallow as you'd expect. There are family changing facilities, with changing table. You need a pound coin for lockers but we had anticipated that. The only thing is that all the bookings end at the same time so the showers/changing facilities get busy. We'll be going again if we can get a booking.

Positive experience: I only go for badminton. Courts are busy. And the courts are near to each other. No much space between courts. That is definitely a negative for very good players

Positive experience: I didn't go here. I used its car park, which served its purpose very well, i.e. car got parked. So it did.

Positive experience: Leisure centre itself fine but they had a pilates class in the same hall at the same time as kids racquetball so the instructor was impossible to hear.

Fantastic experience: They're open for pre-booked gym sessions only. Full marks to the friendly professional staff for getting that much open and keeping it open in these strained and strange times.
