Positive experience: It's OK showers are a bit crap don't mo why all the gyms a putting shity showers on purpose ots like trying to say we are basic so we will give the basic stuff the pool sometimes is on the chilly side

Negative experience: Don’t like it when I was trying to get a snack it didn’t come out the vending machine tuck £2 of me and £5 of my friend and about £15 of me other friend pool is good but don’t use vending machines!!

Positive experience: I like coming to this pool a lot, however the temperature really needs to be adjusted. I usually deal well with the cold, but sometimes it's intolerable here even on a warm day.

Negative experience: It was a horrible place to go, the toilets were so dirty and also the staff weren’t friendly at all. The water was quite cold and not hygienic enough. I won’t go there again and I don’t recommend to go.

Negative experience: Disgusting as only schools swimming all day except for early am, lunch time or after schools for about an hour each time. Don't bother going not worth it.

Positive experience: Fine just like any other. 3 stars because they have an attraction which they never enable, if you ask you wont find answers. And price feels like if you are paying for it.

Positive experience: I go to this daily and I mostly have positive thoughts. It is a relatively small gym but it is well equipped with modern machines and plenty of free weights. The prices for a go Gateshead membership are posted on their website. With the membership you get access to all other gyms currently with go Gateshead including their swimming facilities and gym as well as some other things like classes and saunas.

Positive experience: The East of Gateshead needs this to be open full time, long hours, accommodating the residents of this area. Bringing prices down, especially for children, maybe do a family package. The swimming pool is great. The facilities are brand new and yet Gateshead Council keep closing it. Time for a rethink and sell it.

Fantastic experience: Good

Positive experience: Visited for the sole purpose of accessing the swimming pools. I found the facilities clean and well maintained, the pool water was on the cooler side of comfort, but I'm generally a giant baby when it comes to anything cold. Once in and moving the water was fine. Main pool split into two sections, 1 with lanes which got quite busy very quickly. Changing area booths and showers were nice and spacious, with locker room enough for two bags. Staff were polite and well informed. If I could recommend any change it would be opening hours as not open long enough so can only visit once a week with work commitments.

Positive experience: Swimming teacher Graham is great with the Kids. Can get abit busy when swimming lessons are on. Really clean inside. Can't comment on the gym as i haven't been before.

Negative experience: On Google, it says it open was on a Saturday but when I got there it was closed. Awesome

Positive experience: Spectator area is the most shocking in Gateshead. Behind glass and its like a wind tunnel. Not the centres fault but no one polices customers wearing shoes right up to the pool area....

Fantastic experience: I love it here. I've recently been doing the aqua fit classes. And they're good depending on what day you attend. Monday night and Thursday mornings are great and Alan covers the class sometimes. Alan is amazing really pushes everyone in class and gets into the pool and joins everyone. AMAZING!

Positive experience: It's a nice, small pool and gym close to wrekenton/heworth and is quite good for people who don't want to be bothered by others at large centres like Gateshead's. I must say though, if you go to school and don't have lessons booked this pool closes to the public for lessons at 16:00 +0 GMT on weekdays.

Positive experience: My grandson who is 12 absolutely loved the surf pool you have to book it and it lasts a hour with tuition. The pools are fab .

Fantastic experience: We really enjoyed our visit today. We got parked into a patent and child bay even though it is the school holidays, bonus. The building is well laid out so there is obvious flow to where you pay, change and then go into the pool .Some changing rooms are like mazes but this one is nicely set out. There are 3 big family changing rooms which are great but there's often a wait for them. The others are too small for 2 adults and a toddler. There are a fair few hairdryers that appeared to be free. There's a nice seating area for family watching children swim. There's a surfing pool with instructor. Our son liked the small pool which was a nice temp but he wanted to be in the fun pool the whole time which is really quite cold. The depth is graduated and of a nice depth for a toddler to walk and play in easily. He especially liked the spray archway which kept him entertained for ages. There are a few downsides though. As mentioned before there are only a few family changing areas. You need tokens for the lockers which aren't refundable. You'll need more than one if u need to return to your locker and lock it again, they're 20p each. The fun pool is cold. All of the showers are ridiculously hot. I don't mind a hot shower but I couldn't put my son anywhere near it. On the whole we had a great time and would return

Positive experience: Overall a reasonable pool, but avoid going in the hour prior to the swimming club as Staff start putting the Lanes in early and spoil what is supposed to be a 'fun swim time' by cutting short time you have paid for to suit their own schedule. The changing area needs a good clean: there are always clumps of hair around the cubicle feet along with dirt.

Fantastic experience: Had a free pass for the day and did lite circuit class I learnt how to hula hoop I had a great day.

Fantastic experience: Trying loads of new things and flowrider pop up as things to do in Newcastle. If you have not done this then it's a must. You start on off on the bodyboard learning to balance and ride the wave, then before you know it you will be rolling, pushing the board away and other fun tricks. Pull that off and you will move onto standing up and that when the fun begins watching your mates wipe out in second Thanks to Andy for making the hour great fun (sorry we didn't wipe out in seconds)
