Fantastic experience: Christmas Fair at David Lloyd Warrington I recently had the pleasure of attending the Christmas fair held inside David Lloyd Warrington, and I must say, it was a lovely experience, especially for a last-minute stall opportunity. The atmosphere was truly amazing—festive, warm, and full of holiday cheer. The people there were incredibly nice, both the visitors and specially Eileen who organized everything. Everyone seemed to be in great spirits, which made the event even more enjoyable. We also took a moment to visit the on-site restaurant, and we were impressed with how quick the service was and the food quality. The waiters were courteous and attentive, which added to the positive experience. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and look forward to the chance to return for future events. A big thank you to everyone involved for making it such a memorable day!

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff and venue, super helpful, I attended to help my daughter with a Christmas stall, the reception staff were courteous and kind very welcoming and the restaurant staff were really fast, ensuring allergies were catered for perfectly.

Fantastic experience: Today, I visited David Lloyd, Warrington, for a tour of the facilities. From the moment I arrived at the reception area and was greeted by a very friendly member of staff, I knew that this was going to very positive visit. I was then met by Alisha, who took me on my tour. Alisha was super friendly, extremely knowledgeable and clearly full of passion about her role and providing positive customer service. The facilities are absolutely amazing, so there was no hesitation in becoming a member today. I already have my PT session booked in for tomorrow and I can’t wait to become part of the David Lloyd family! Thank you so much Alisha

Negative experience: I enquired about amending my membership from family to individual ... the most unhelpful and rude service I've ever experienced.. "Use the app or email" ... we don't deal with membership in the facility .... No way to speak to a human and sort out a membership costing nearly a £100/month. No respect for customers, zero idea of customer service .....

Negative experience: Only used spa and was disappointed with awful smell in both saunas. Steam room was small and not very steamy.

Fantastic experience: Tom's last Sunday of the month quiz is great fun for all the family. We even managed to win the August one, winning a lovely burger platter!

Negative experience: I have found that the regular absence of towels at the fitness club has resulted in machines that often appear dirty and sweaty. Additionally, it took nearly two months for them to address the issue with the swimsuit drying machine, which is rather disappointing. Overall, I feel that the quality of the facilities does not align with the price being charged.

Fantastic experience: Great Leisure club the DL warrington. Friendly and helpful staff. The place is always clean and tidy. Great gym equipment. Special mention from my visit today. The lady serving in the restaurant Marti. If you want to know what good customer service is look no further. She was First class today.

Fantastic experience: Great systems, great working, great everything. David lloyd Warrington is overall a great gym place. The indoor swimming pool is very calm, and can be good for races, general fun, etc. There is a seperate toddlers/child pool/hottub for children of younger ages with a shallow pool so all ages can have fun. Outdoor pool is only open in sunny times, if not sunny won’t be opened. But still nice. Also has some great activities like tennis, a nice waiting area with payed snacks and an indoor play area for younger children, and an outdoor playground for big children. As well as the outdoor playground, it also has a football pitch where kids can play football, basketball and have fun.

Fantastic experience: Best place I’ve been to. the equipment is amazing and so much to choose from, the food was delicious and to die for, everyone is so welcoming and happy and thank you to Ged for showing me and bring me in to have a look around I would definitely come back.

Negative experience: 90 hours of adult swim time vs 124.5 hours of family swim time per week. Family time occupies most of the middle of the day. Very poor value for money for adults that want to swim without the sound of screaming children. It also means that all of the adults who want to use a pool without children in it have to go at the same time meaning the pool is extremely busy. There are even a bunch of people who use a substantial part of the outdoor pool to stand in and hold conversations while doing nothing other than steep their genitals. Think you can relax in the spa? Only if you enjoy listening to obnoxious people moaning about their work lives. The free weights area is left a total mess. For free weights I typically attend 14-16 days per month and it is disappointing most times. Greasy, sweaty headmarks on benches that have been their since I joined Dec 2023. Despite members leaving the areas a total mess, it is left up to the next member to wonder around looking through piles of plates only to find that 1.25kg or 2.5kg plates seem to be missing. Despite feedback highlighting this it carries on being the case. If you enjoy playing mum to scruffy teens then it might be the gym for you, so much disorder and mess. The staff actually seem nice. The problem is clearly management as they are responsible for delegating tasks and maintaining standards however as long as the money is rolling in they seem not to care. Already gave notice not to renew contract so won't be getting caught out like many others. It could be good, if only someone (manager) cared. Instead it seems to be about installing poolside bars. They can't even manage basic upkeep, maybe walk before you try to triathlon. I am pretty sure the last time the manager laid eyes on the whole gym was the first time they had a look. I will happily change my review if these issues are sorted, but if I hold my breath waiting for that to happen, I will be a long time dead.

Negative experience: expensive and not value for money. however best place in warrington with not much comparison

Fantastic experience: I come here pretty much daily with my 4 year old daughter. There is always lots to do for the kids with the DL Kids gang. The gym is great and the club room has great food and drinks. Theresa is always welcoming and really helpful.

Fantastic experience: Alisha was very lovely, friendly and professional. She really took her time to show us round and she was amazing at answering any of the questions we had. The facility is stunning and Alisha made it worth while registering today. Her lovely smile, her welcoming attitude and the way she related with other guests made me realise that the staff here are very friendly and i and my family are thrilled to be able to use this facility.

Fantastic experience: I’m always greeted by the amazing team at DL Warrington reception. All the staff are really helpful. Ryan is always on hand to help too - always smiling, even when he’s in the gym either lifting weights or teaching. All the staff make the gym a really warm place to be and I (along with a lot of other members) really appreciate that! I also love the little market stalls in the club room too! Thanks team!

Fantastic experience: Love this site, my favourite David Lloyd of all the North West clubs. This site has a great atmosphere, led by their amazing GM Graeme Jones. He has really lifted the team since his arrival at Warrington, and you can see the standards are high. If I could give it 10 stars I would!

Negative experience: Big Disappointment Finally, summer is here with 24 degrees outside, and we were excited to enjoy the outdoor pools. Unfortunately, they were not attended, or understaffed, making it adult swim only. There was no notification on the app about this issue, and we waited the whole day to go after work. Paying £200 every month, this is not what you expect. Apparently you can’t even have your dinner at the tables. 2 adults watching a 4year old near a pool is not safe enough. You need another teenager in a yellow tshirt to watch them. Very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Love it here, the kids go to their classes and I can go to the gym and then we all go for a swim together. It's always clean and foods great too.

Positive experience: The sauna in the hut outside is nice and so is the outdoor jacuzzi. The gym is well equipped but the general feel of the place feels old and run down like a primary school or an old leisure centre. Needs a revamp

Negative experience: So evidently, if you're a "visiting member" you're not allowed towels here and the receptionist can speak to you like she's just scrapped you off her shoe. Never been an issue before at this or any other club. Two upset kids who were looking forward to a swim. One upset dad who will no longer be paying for 5 memberships. Won't be treated to or spoken to like that. Certainly won't pay to be spoken to or treated like that.

Fantastic experience: I’ve only been a member for a few months and the first time I’ve properly joined a gym. As expected I was quite nervous and apprehensive but can’t speak highly enough of PT Davina Ramsdale who I had an introductory session with. Not only did she really help ease me in, but she was so lovely and friendly and really went above and beyond. She showed me round all of the gym, helped me understand the equipment and how and when I could use it and even gave me a run through of the classes and which she thought might suit me. She is a credit to David Lloyd and genuinely the reason why my introduction to gym life has gone so positively.

Fantastic experience: When joining David Lloyd I thought I was joining a gym. How wrong was i. I was joining a family, a support system and a close knit community. From entering the doors as an extremely nervous gym phobic I was made to feel welcome, supported and encouraged to make changes for the better. Big shout out to the Delta staff (especially Katie and Sam) for helping me drop dress sizes in a safe and welcoming group of like minded people who I now class as amazing friends. The reception staff (lyndsey, Reuben and more) who always welcome you and take time to actually get to know you and make you feel important. Biggest thanks to the clubroom staff who consistently give top quality service and amazing food and drinks. Alison, Bex and many others make you feel that nothing is too much, making sure your experience is nothing short of exemplary.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of David Lloyd since 2017, the longest time I have ever been a member of a gym. I love everything about it, the staff are amazing especially Lyndsey, Ally & Reuben on reception, Alison, Bex and James in the clubroom but the biggest shoutout I have to give is to Katie Forbes from the personal training team. Katie has helped me battle through my difficulties during menopause and help to not only lose stubborn weight but also become stronger. I also really enjoy Delta (group personal training) and the community that we have built there. Always pushing each other forwards during Delta games (mini comp for all the delta members) and being there when needed for a chat to get us through our outings and long walks. Such an amazing place to be.

Positive experience: Gym and lounge areas are very nice. Sauna/steam/spa area needs an upgrade. Both indoor/outdoor sauna smelt bad- spoke to some regular members, said this was frequent occurrence.

Positive experience: Good venue, very busy

Negative experience: Absolute greedy gym. How on earth can you put my membership up again when you already went from £60 to £67.75 last year and NOW you're saying my membership is £74.95 from January. An extra £86 overall for the year. Are you lot actually in the real world. you think rising people's membership more and more every year is going to keep customers?

Negative experience: I have one complaint to make and its all to do with the wattbikes and Stages bikes in the gym. They are all rubbish and need replacing. Tried to connect to the three watt bikes through the watt bike app but no joy. These watt bikes are so old and you can see all the rust on the cranks off people sweat. Absolute waste if time if like me you do watt bike workouts and train by power and watts. Disillusioned with the watt bikes I went to see if I could get some joy out of the stages spinning bikes. Downloaded the stages app but could not connect to any of the stages bike in the gym. Waste of time. They are also old and need replacing. David lloyd are happy to take money off everyone every month and earn millions but are not willing to spend on updating equipment. I only joined up for a 2 week trial period to see how things are going at David Lloyd because I was a member a few years ago but I see nothing has changed regarding the bikes they have in the gym. Sad really because I can't fault anything else within David Lloyd. I feel as though the bikes are an after thought and are just left to rack and ruin. Which is a shame for us who like to train in them properly and use the power meters on them.

Fantastic experience: My very favourite place to exercise,socialise and relax. Staff are so friendly, coaches are very professional, and I enjoy the Zumba, Pilates and Cardio tennis classes so much. Hopefully there would be more different family activities at the weekends ;)

Negative experience: Great gym everything you need to get a good session in . The classes are great and The food is very tasty . The facilities are clean and my daughter loves the pool and spends hours in there so gives me a good break .
