Bedford International Athletic Stadium

Negative experience: We played here weekly with no issues until recently. Overall, decent facilities for badminton... When you can get booked in... We booked badminton online which was then cancelled days later because there was a boxing event. Why allow customers to book when you know there is an event on? And then you offer a credit instead of a refund. Effectively taking customers money when you know the courts aren't available. Unacceptable. We then booked for another time only to be told 20 minutes before our booking that it was cancelled. The manager informed us that it was cancelled as another group had a block booking. Why is your system allowing multiple people to book onto the same slot? The manager was apologetic and offered a refund. However, as this unfortunately keeps on happening we will not be returning to a Better leisure centre for the foreseeable future.

Fantastic experience: First time there, for my son's football match, but the athletic stadium was lovely, It remembered me of school athletics days

Negative experience: Disabled parking a shambles. Lift not working properly. Tea and coffee not available for several hours, understaffed.

Negative experience: Played badminton. Courts sometimes are not setup on time and that means if you are on first you don't get your full time because the person after you expects to start their slot on time. No one was around when we wanted to complain.

Fantastic experience: Super clean and easy to access, went to play badminton on one of the courts. Very reasonable prices too and cheaper than other badminton courts in the area that I've used before.

Negative experience: Facilities in terms of drinks and access to building fine however the room was way to hot which caused my uncle to collapse. As we had attended a funeral that day it was nerve racking. The staff were able to get the ambulance here pretty quickly.

Fantastic experience: Best place to come for Beds games and not only at other games and events I know also the top terrace café is definitely worth a visit for lunch and tea coffees

Positive experience: Arrived to fix the external floodlights, didn't achieve much so I can only guess during the night it's fairly dark......ohhh and there's also a large circular track type thing in the middle which would be great for running around.

Negative experience: The stadium itself is great. The food providers are awful. Extortionate prices for barely anything. If you are here for an all day event plan something else to eat.

Fantastic experience: We got dragged, kicking and screaming, to the track play day at Bedford athletic stadium. 4 different sizes of trains to play with, including ride ons, hot wheels tracks, a bouncy castle, optional face painting and snack bar. It is wild!! Great fun, loads for us dads to help the kids with. I'm not sure when the next one is, but if you and the kids love trains, get booking!

Negative experience: Staff lied about my booking and would not refund, advised to make a formal compliant and have not heard back from them. Very unprofessional

Positive experience: A great stadium catering for all athletics events. Plenty of parking. Lots of seats and grass to sit around the track on busy event days. Unfortunately, the track is overdue a relay . Hopefully, this will happen this year.

Positive experience: Visited for English Schools Combined Events Champs. Poor refreshment provision for the number of people attending. One small mobile coffee van with 2 people serving. Long queues all day.

Positive experience: Great facilities for a sports centre and an athletic stadium, with indoor running track for winter training too. Outdoor track surface needs a bit of a refresh if you're a competing athlete and the toilets are not always as clean as you would hope. All in all a decent facility with ample parking.

Fantastic experience: A superb athletics stadium and track that was host to a warm up venue in the 2012 London Olympic Games. Holding National events during the athletic season and 7 day a week access training for members. Youth development is an excellent addition to what the stadium adds to the IAAF community.
