Fantastic experience: Amazing place… there’s a few sections Library - small but really nice people working there and can get books sent In.. Café - again small, decent coffee, and super helpful people working there Leisure centre-all the things you’d hope for and the swimming pool is decent size

Negative experience: Pool was absolutely freezing. My son’s lips turned blue after being in for 5 minutes. We complained but not offered a refund even though we had to get out after 5 mins.

Fantastic experience: I have enjoyed my time at the centre on a NERS course, and will definitely be going weekly on my own to the fitness room.

Positive experience: In our opinion this is the best pool for families in gwynedd

Negative experience: We went onto the website this morning and attended the swimming pool at the time the public swim started. We were told when we got there that the pool was closed for a private swim and this was on the website. We had two very sad and tearful children on leaving. We doubled checked the website and there was nothing on there that suggested that the pool was closed for private use. While we were there, there were other families also being sent away as they were also not aware that the pool was closed as the website said it was open to the public. Very disappointing.

Negative experience: Phoned beforehand for prices and opening times and we're given different prices when we arrived. The woman on the desk wasn't very helpful.

Positive experience: Best swimming pool in Gwynedd for little ones. Very warm and clean pool with small steps in and out and a ramp too. Family changing room consisting of three small cubicles one with a changing table and a share shower. Lockers take 20p but are located in the ladies so it's a pain to take your stuff back and forth otherwise would have have 5*

Fantastic experience: Very clean. The swimming pool is excellent. The water temperature is just right. Most pools have the temperature set too high.

Positive experience: Great place to take the kids swimming. There's a big pool and a small pool which is 0.6m at one end going to 0.9m so very shallow and safe. very attentive pool attendants/lifeguards. Very clean changing rooms with family rooms too. Water could do with being a tad warmer ;)

Positive experience: I normally use swimming facilities in a neighbouring county. This swimming pool area in Byw'n Iach Glaslyn was clean, decent drainage on the floor so no pools gathered (with toddlers, a boon) and the showers were nice and warm. The two pools are at different temperatures. The toddler one is slightly warmer. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. We asked quite a few questions as we weren't familiar with the facilities and all questions were answered politely and directions given - even with the large queue. Da iawn pawb!

Positive experience: Needs a dam good clean if they want five stars from me I'm afraid. Changing rooms could definitely be better.

Fantastic experience: I havnt been to the Leisure centre for years, but I took Mum to Dementia go at the centre. I was surprised that the library is now located in the centre, I was surprised by the lovely cafe within the leisure centre. I was very pleased with the help and kindness shown to my mum and I from the caring staff. I felt very happy with my visit and I am looking forward to taking mum again. When I can, I will use the swimming pool and join in the many activities available.

Positive experience: I love the coffee area here. Lovely comfy sofas and chairs. Food is mainly snack food eg. sandwiches, backed potato with various fillings, quiche etc. I recommend the egg sandwiches and the stilton and broccoli quiche. Prices are not too bad, quiche and plain baked potato cost £6, more if you wanted salad and a filling. The tea is disappointing, weak and no taste. Also the seating area is not large and can get crowded in peak times, but a great place to meet friends or have a break after swimming etc

Fantastic experience: The staff are really friendly. The cafe has good healthy food, there is a vending machine but during the day the cafe is manned. There is a library based there as well giving the whole place a warm community glow.

Fantastic experience: It's our home from home very obliging cheerful caf'e fitness rooms Sauna swimming pool. Disabled welcome would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Very popular leasure center used by children and adults. Swimming pool and exercise equipment. Friendly staff on reception desk that also houses the entrance to the library. There is a posting box near the cafe for returning books if library is closed. Small cafe that opens at 10am. Limited light meals but good coffee. The cafe has sofas for comfort reading with a coffee but the cafe does get busy and noisy. Parking is free near the library but limited. The larger car park is fee payable.

Fantastic experience: Well organised venue! has a range of activities on throughout the year! Brought me up through my grassroots level, and allowed me to train when on holiday visiting family in Port.

Negative experience: Tennis courts have been out of action & now the steam room is never to be fixed. I will be cancelling my membership. Good staff but the council are letting go down the pan.

Positive experience: Good swimming facilities, but electronic locker keys not fit for purpose. Ques at reception due to lack of staff.

Fantastic experience: 100% great ! Good value for money, and friendly staff at all times. Nice cafe to enjoy after sessions, and facilities well-maintained. Ladies in my life say the pool is good too.
