Negative experience: This gym is same like years ago. Nothing changed. Best thing is free 2 h parking and opening hours.. No extra machines,very louds music when they do classes, terrible smelly toilets and showers. Since 4 years ago they keep saying they will refurbish and nothing its been done,more than this are young dudes destroying everything. Staff is okay, dont care to much about it,just being present in the gym and thats all.. What is trully missing from this gym is a soul

Positive experience: Was alright tbf like an apocalypse at about 6 in the afternoon tho
Positive experience: The Gym itself is great. I enjoy going there. The staff are very friendly and the classes look great. It loses stars for me however for the changing room facilities. They are the worst changing rooms i’ve ever used, and I've worked in a prison Gym! They are tiny and although i am sure that they are cleaned regularly, they look old fashioned and neglected. The lay out is awful and it’s actually a stressful experience using them.

Negative experience: Ridiculous in the changing rooms there is always young people grouped up vaping and smoking being aggressive hogging the changing rooms. This is meant to be a gym for fitness but you constantly allow these young folks to make the gym unfit by smoking in public changing rooms creating second hand smoke and ruining all the fitness. I’ve even seen these boys punching the walls and breaking them please just kick them out. If I could vote -400 stars I would I have nightmares of this gym of the young boys after they always kick the shower doors while I’m showing or pulling my town down off the shower doors.

Negative experience: Steven Sunday lift class dreadful, too much cardio, over complicated and NOT suitable for all abilities!
Positive experience: Great selection of equipment and it's great being 24/7, the facilities let it down, the showers and doors rarely work and it needs the standards raising for the facilities. But the gym its self as a gym is great

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. Fantastic experience: Very good gym, very good manager, old manager was not very good. Very nasty and not very into equality and diversity. The staff understand autism and ADHD and allowed me to use accessable toilet to shower. Clean and friendly team. I have used many gyms and this gym is very good, especially for the price. I do not do classes, but they are always busy. Not to many meatheads with roid rage either lol

Negative experience: Today i have been to Corby pure Gym & it was far below to my expectations because I was using milton Keynes Pure Gym so I was expecting it in same way but very disappointed not even have enought space & enough machines & many of them not due their maintenance & as well higher in price then Milton keynes . only 1 washroom in male lockers very small lockers & even dirty filthy & broken rest in the End I tried their paid yango drink which was rule of smell so i thrown it away immediately. Overall my experience was very bad .

Positive experience: The Gym itself is as good as all the other PureGyms I have visited and what you would expect. The Male changing area is quite small, but this is due to lack of space. Because of this 2 of the 3 showers are small and you need to get changed ready to shower before entering the cubicle. Unfortunately the larger shower was out of order and was giving off a very pungent whiff. This of course will be temporary so don't be put off by that. I have rated PureGym Corby with 3 stars but this is solely due to my visit yesterday. When I visit again I am sure it will be worth 4 stars.

Positive experience: We could not fault this place, so long story short, I used to be a member of this gym during lockdown, and we stopped going because we felt we wanted to try out other gyms around Corby, but in all honesty, this is a premium gym compared to the others. Going into the gym using the pod style means everyone is accounted for, and the security here is lovely. I felt safe even though it was unstaffed during my visit. I could see the gym had made many changes by moving several machines around, and it looked like the customer's views were considered and there was always a machine available. My partner and I decided to work on the resistance machines and do ten reps in three blocks each, which worked well. We managed to go through most of the machines in under an hour and a half, which was awesome. As a Plus member, I could take the sports water every 20 minutes, but I do wish it was reduced because, with the amount of exercising, I felt that I was thirsty frequently. The tap water in the gym does have an unpleasant aftertaste. We had a great time, and I look forward to being a fully-fledged member of Pure Gym in Corby. I've also been to other gyms and this place is a bit minimal and basic compared to the other piregym franchises but the prices reflect this. I do wish there was a way to pay directly if the debit payment fails (as my card is permanently on lock unless I disable it to make a payment which means since I've been a member here I've been charged the fee for late payment)

Positive experience: Gets too busy during 6 to 7 pm so its hard to find the spot to workout or even alternative exercises because almost everything gets taken

Positive experience: It’s a lovely, clean gym. My partner and I have been going for several months now. However I would strongly advise avoiding going in the evenings. We went around 5pm last week and were both shocked at how busy the gym was with 57+ people at the gym (it’s quite a small gym too) There seems to be a lot of ‘kids’ at the gym messing around in the evening. Typically males in groups aged between 15-17. It’s a huge shame that staff members witness this but never seem to acknowledge/tell them off. We ended up leaving the gym after 5 mins as it was becoming very irritating.
Fantastic experience: Great staff members at the moment. Been here for a long time and this is the best combo. (Sarah, Athina, Kurtis and Jack). Clean, cheap and worth the money. Classes are amazing.

Negative experience: Not my normal club. Went on Christmas day three years ago, which was fine. Since then, they have decided to close at random hours over the Christmas period, resulting in many wasted hours and fuel to travel over. If they had communicated this online, fine, but they did not. I have since decided to cease my PureGym membership.

Negative experience: People hog the equipment for ages, then sit on their phones whilst not using the machine and when you ask they say they are in fact using that machine without using it. Its great, i love it

Positive experience: Good range of gym equipment including weight sizes. The security is very good and the staff are very pleasant and helpful when needed however the showers are not adequate and the doors don't lock properly which means I have to go home to shower before going to work which originally wasn't the reason I joined PureGym it was to be able to go to the gym before work and head straight to work. Hopefully this will be fixed and maintained soon because other than this the gym is very convenient and also has two hours free parking which is very convenient.

Negative experience: Music is toooo loooouuuddd!!! Like I can even hear it with my headphones on at max volume! Honestly, it’s not very pleasant to workout like this at 4 am in the morning. No one needs this party as everyone in the gym has got headphones anyway!

Positive experience: Can get busy but it is a popular gym. Free parking for 2 hours and WiFi. Clean with friendly staff. Unfortunately some of the gym users do not put weights back after using and leave a mess, maybe they need their mummy to come clean up after them. Unfortunately the gym does not temporarily block a membership.

'm afraid it's true our gyms simply are very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day and from day to day. To make the most of the space where possible, though, we are always looking to expand and improve our facilities, so please keep an eye out for updates.

Positive experience: Busy little Puregym with all the kit you need. Crowd taking part in the lesson all looked like they were having fun. Would have given 5 stars but the free parking machine is kept a secret.

Negative experience: As far as pure gyms go, this is one of the worse ones. Far too cramped inside. Not enough equipment for the amount of people there. But it beats training outside with just a barbell

Fantastic experience: Cool place ✌️
Negative experience: The WORST gym I've ever used. RUDE STAFF. UNPROFESSIONAL. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THIEVES EVERYWHERE. Then if you decide to leave this gym... They will refuse to let you cancel your membership, they will STEAL money from your account after cancellation and will REFUSE refunds after assuring they will help when they take money from your account over a month after cancellation and for double the fee. They will say they won't ignore you or move on to another department but they will and then ignore you onwards. No professionalism, no work ethic, no care for customers or where their money comes from. Waste of air and equipment.

Negative experience: I was having a great time using Pure Gym Corby, until my experiences recently which have not been great. When the gym was first reopened the hygiene and cleanliness was excellent, staff were thoroughly cleaning equipment as were the customers. Now it’s a different story, I’ve been in recently and when advised to wear masks no one is really wearing them- staff and customers (I understand for health reasons if you cannot), people are walking into each other’s spaces and not cleaning down equipment before and after use. The facilities to clean down equipment are there so I cannot fault that, however people are being too lazy to use it, this kind of behaviour needs to be challenged.

Negative experience: High price for very small gym. The price is ridiculous when they're other gyms such as northampton are twice as cheap and much bigger!!! DARK GYM! Cramped! Expensive! and TINY

We try to keep our prices as low as possible with CORE memberships available without any extras attached so those members who do want to pay for extras like PTs, multi-access and other benefits can opt for them individually rather than everyone being forced to sign up to those. Negative experience: Very disappointed with the lack of measures in place to ensure the gym is covid secure Was far too busy, only equipment that had been turned off to ensure distancing were cardio. On many occasions members had to walk past each other with no didtancing to move around the gym. There were plenty of cleaning stations but ultimately the gym was absolutely packed

Fantastic experience: Lots of parking. Validate the ticket in the gym and then pay machine so you get two free hours. Gym is clean and tidy.

Positive experience: Isn’t my home gym, but included in my membership. Gym is clean however the atmosphere is dull, very dark space compared to any other PureGym I’ve been too - maybe brighten it up a little.
Negative experience: PureGym love to hear their (questionable) positive reviews but completely ignore the negative ones. Take a look on Trustpilot to see what I mean. Burying their heads in the sand won’t make problems go away.

Fantastic experience: Missing some equipment and the new hand sanitizer is a bit sticky other than that it's great Edit: Seated cable rows and seated calf raises. One of the leicester gyms had them theyre brilliant

I have passed this information on to the Gym Manager in the hope this is rectified ASAP. Please note temperatures in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers if you would like.
