Fantastic experience: I love this place if you can get parked it's really good gym never mobbed and just full of people who want to exercise and not for insta!!!
Positive experience: Generally the gym is generally well looked after. The equipment is getting a little old but is fully functional and clean. Atmosphere is always pleasant
Positive experience: This used to be a great gym but lately, it has become untidy and equipment, which is in disrepair, is taking far too long, to be repaired. They have, just recently, increased the membership prices, with no improvements to the gym, to speak of.
Fantastic experience: Nice place during the day and even nicer at night. Quite clean too
Negative experience: 0 STARS!!!!!! just paid £40 for a month at this gym and I can’t even get through the door. The young lad behind the door was just looking at me when I was asking for assistance through the glass then walked away twice. I’m now back in my car £40 down and still haven’t had a workout after an hour of trying to get through the door. Absolutely shocking would not recommend to anyone

Was told to leave along with 6 other people today after using for over a year due to making to much noise while lifting weights all were bodybuilders lifting heavy weights said clanging noise was to loud if your a serious weight lifter don't use this gym

The gym has gone downhill within the past couple years, poor hygiene, broken machines, stairmaster broke for a month and nothing has been fixed…ceiling leaks, too many young kids in the gym using the gym as a social environment

Negative experience: Equipment is broken often, ceilings leak water for weeks before fixing and hand dryers are broken for even longer , only good parts are location and staff.

Fantastic experience: It's good but getting a bit run down some machines needing a bit of maintenance, 1 machine has had a wire broken for 3 weeks and not repaired yet

Negative experience: Very poor hygiene, filthy toilets that don’t appear to be cleaned, and shower areas that look quite disturbing with mould, stains and general dirt. The only saviour is the location of the gym, otherwise it wouldn’t survive anywhere else. Also noticing a lot of young immature teenagers coming in groups with border line antisocial behaviour. Really disappointing that this gym has got to this poor level. Strong management is needed

Fantastic experience: It’s very friendly atmosphere and gym is very clean and hygienic with fresh air , got available all the equipments you could want , very friendly and helpful personal trainers who I have used few times and they helped me a lot and I can have better sense of training in my own

Positive experience: Fantastic gym with something for everyone. It is also open 24 hours most days which is an added bonus. The only reason I have marked it down is if you go at the wrong time it can be extremely busy .

Positive experience: Adequate at best, routine maintenance is a letdown, seems there's action only after one of their 'surveys', so any routine checks are clearly a skim at very best. Cleanliness has improved, but not by much.

Negative experience: This gym has really went downhill in the past year , showers are really filthy , disabled toilet out of order for a month now , hand dryer and hair dryer not working for 2/3 weeks now , smashed mirror in the squat rack just covered over with cardboard , broken lockers , maintence and hygiene is a massive let down , really enjoyed going to this gym since it opened , not so much now

Positive experience: Great Gym with great variety of equipment. Only negative for me was the amount of members working out. 'a lot'. Given Covid warnings, most people had no mask which I understand during exercise but how is the air managed to extract airborne particles? Anyway, I enjoyed my workout. My recommendation would be to see more instructors going around advising workout on techniques and generally creating a friendly vibe. A sauna and steam room would be great for post workout relaxing.

Negative experience: Joined here as a new member. Booked classes to have email sent that classes I booked have been cancelled. Not happy and will be cancelling on the first month!
Hi there- Thanks for taking the time to leave this review, we always appreciate and take on board member feedback. Classes must be cancelled four hours before they are due to start; this gives members who are on the waiting list, a chance to attend the class or cancel. Failure to do so, will result in a strike. Three strikes from late cancellations or non attendance in a 28 day period, will result in an eight day booking restriction. If you are on the waiting list and you receive a notification stating you have a place on the class with less than 4 hours notice, but are unable to attend or cancel late, then you will not receive a strike. However, if you are on the waiting list and receive notification that you have a place on the class with 4 or more hours notice and fail to attend or cancel in time, then you will receive a strike. You will still be able to attend the gym however. With this being said, we do understand that there may be times where an unforeseen circumstance arises and this results in a missed class or a class cancelled late. We ask that you get in touch, so that we can discuss the matter further. Thanks, PureGym

Fantastic experience: Much better than the council gyms. Joined about 2 weeks ago, I find the Gym to be very clean with stuff to clean the equipment always stocked up and available. Haven't spoke to any of the staff as I have had no need to, but they seem pleasant and approachable if needed. I have seen a few reviews of Puregym saying they can't connect to the free wi-fi, it's probably down to the login page not loading when you open your web-browser, if this happens just download a different browser such as FireFox and this should fix it.

Positive experience: The showers aren't clean.

Staff do regular cleaning checks in the gym and we have dedicated cleaning teams who come each night to carry out and comply with internal and external audits. Of course, during peak times it can be difficult for us to compete all cleaning routines, however as soon as it is possible our staff will complete all procedures and checks. If you have concerns with the cleanliness in your gym we can check the cleaning rotas and ensure all procedures are being followed. Negative experience: Disappointed that 3 of my classes have been cancelled due to sickness & no alternately classes been offered and also limited classes for the following weekend .

Fantastic experience: There's lots of equipment
Negative experience: Same as the gym no alcohol sprays or paper towels to clean down your bench when your finished using it you have to lie on other peoples sweat if you want to use a bench not very hygienic at all apart from that not a bad selection of weights and machines.

Fantastic experience: You need to consider Puregym if you're considering joining a gym. The monthly memberships are a steal! More importantly the gyms themselves are well equipped. Avoid peak times and you'll get a great work out
Fantastic experience: Modern and clean...
Negative experience: music is blaring loud like being poked in the face by someone with the speaker on their phone hooked up to an amp, there is no customer service all staff are powerless and impotent to make any real change, horrendous, 1 toilet for everyone at night, a place made painful by its corporate values. There is a cool step machine and lots of interesting things to pick up that are heavy though.
