Negative experience: Children's swim lessons are always cancelled and they refuse to refund. When you email Your Space about this they just completely blank you, expecting you to disappear when will they realise that I won't?

Negative experience: Not a good experience. Only allowed to the use the small pool which want clearly explained during booking. Changing rooms cold.

Fantastic experience: Great place to train everything you need whatever your needs

Positive experience: My daughter has been learning to swim here for a few months and she is making progress being that she cried on her first day. The swim academy is great. My only worry is that the instructors do not get in the pool with the kids, which makes it a little harder for them to learn fast. Otherwise, great staff, great environment.

Positive experience: Usually very lovely whenever I go swimming around noon. Today it was an absolute catastrophe. I went at half past 7pm. As a medium fast swimmer it was literally impossible to do one uninterrupted length (either being kicked, splashed at or I could not overtake due to the small lane available) Half the pool was blocked for kiddies swim lessons and in the slow lane, there were little kids jumping in and out too. Other people told me that it is often like this unfortunately. I give three stars for the cleanliness, the friendly staff and the large changing facilities.

Positive experience: Great staff and facilities, love that there are separate changing and shower areas after a swim- knocked one star off for the parking, unless you go in the afternoon after school is over with, you will really struggle to find a space

Negative experience: The atmosphere in the men's changing room and pool area is unpleasant due to hygiene issues and lack of cleanliness. The showers have issues with water flow, requiring constant pressing to maintain, which is inconvenient. Additionally, there are instances of inappropriate behavior, such as men walking naked in the changing room and an older individual exposing themselves in front of school children, which is concerning. Furthermore, there are disturbances caused by loud weightlifting and noisy children, making it difficult to focus or relax. While the price is reasonable considering the amenities offered, the overall experience falls short in terms of cleanliness, safety, and ambiance.

Positive experience: Been taking my 1 year old to swim lessons for a few month, great teacher & clean pool. I find the changing facilitys or lack of them for babies is terrible, the family changing rooms are locked for school use at the same time as baby swim lesson. The changing tables do not fit into the the family changing rooms either leaving you to change ur baby on a mat on the changing room floor. Very disapointing

Positive experience: Took little granddaughter for her weekly lesson. Mal always makes it fun and interesting for the children. Good place, clean and tidy.

Positive experience: This is nice place for families, I like the short swimming classes for kids, but I didn't like the parents waiting area, has only three tables .

Fantastic experience: Ruth has been an enormously good instructor and teacher to our kids - Jacob and Edward Hoyle. Edward absolutely loves Ruth and when he sees she is the instructor of his group, he is excited to go and try his best for her. Gentle and soft spoken, but firm with kids, encouraging them to achieve the best they can do and just a little bit more. I am very greatful to Ruth for her input in Edward’s progress. Thank you Ruth - you are brilliant!!

Negative experience: Wouldn't recommend a Pool Party here . My friend had a pool party for her grandson . The party room is in the school some distance from the swimming pool.

Negative experience: I had booked to go in (for those who do not know this is meant to secure your spot at the gym area) however they had let someone who didn't book go in and take my spot meaning I had to wait for almost an hour and by the time I had been able to enter due to there being a space my booking had finished and I had to leave, they said there was nothing they could do even though they was the ones that made the mistake.

Negative experience: My kids have been swimming at this pool for several years, unfortunately it is hit and miss if you get a reliable instructor that will provide a service that you pay for. When dealing with management about any concerns you are told what you want to hear but the problems are ignored rather than dealt with. If you do raise an issue expect to be black listed and talked about as the instructors pass each other poolside rather than them actually take the time to adapt to their students. Clearly too many students in one class for some of the instructors to actually teach all of them at once, and don’t expect any progress if the instructor is off as the cover instructors are there just to pass the time.

Fantastic experience: Well laid out car park with dedicated disabled parking on either side of the centre. The centre itself has a two storey gym, the exercise equipment is ample and clients referred by a GP can request one to one help and supervision. It has a clean 25m pool and smaller pool where numerous classes are held and evening and weekend lessons are held for "Learn to Swim" with Lifeguard attending. Single Changing rooms and one for group changing for women and one for men are also available. Toilets for disabled in changing rooms and in foyer and on first floor which can be accessed by a lift. Seating in spectator gallery is clean and adequate for galas which are held at times. There is a dance studio where classes are held and steam and sauna rooms in changing rooms. All in all well worth visiting.

Negative experience: I'm starting to get frustrated at this gym. I've been a member for years but recently , the virtual spin is always on and off with the projector breaking, I've been tonight at 6.15 for a virtual spin class as stated on the timetable but there's a live class on instead, was told it would finish at 6.45, so I waited around and the class is still going on at 6 45! I've got better things to do than wait around all night for a spin class! No idea why the time tables have not been updated, it's so disheartening when you're trying to reach your fitness goals....if it doesn't improve over the next few weeks I'm going to look at moving elsewhere.

Variety of new machines available. Affordable price range. Gym, swimming are my preferences but there are lot more facilities if your interested in.

Negative experience: Constant swimming lesson cancellations! We have our two grandchildren on swimming lessons here and although they are good when they are on there is a stream of cancellations at no notice. My grandkids are in different classes 30 mins apart. The eldest is just under two and a half and the youngest 18months. They ABSOLUTELY LOVE SWIMMING. On Saturday the 5th June my grandson had his session as normal whilst his sister looked on in excited anticipation of her turn. Then when his session ended they were told her session was cancelled and she was t going to be swimming. If any of you have hearts and kids you can imagine the devastation this caused her, I write this review the following day and she is still upset about the whole episode, can you imagine her trepidation about going again and not being able to swim. Quite frankly I am appalled! Update: 3 Years since posting this, I can also add that based on experience I would suggest looking for coaching with smaller class sizes. This may be "reasonably" priced but my observations over the last few months have been such that I would argue these are less swimming lessons and more supervised splashes. We are in the process of looking at other options on the basis that double the price for double the progress is a quid pro quo.

Positive experience: My children have swimming lessons here. The teachers are lovely but the organisation of this place is fair from great. My children have come on leaps and bounds with their swimming which is the main thing.

Positive experience: A festival of indoor court sports and iron being pumped on the outskirts of Worksop. Clean and well staffed facility with a direct link into the highschool next door. Outside are enclosed areas for tennis, football and the like.

Positive experience: Very smart and well run, but the air conditioning is far too severe which is why I haven't joined. It is good to have the temperature regulated but not to the extent that it is really cold. Fortunately I have found another gym in Worksop that just opens windows on hot days thereby making it a much more pleasant environment.

Positive experience: Second visit to this Leisure Centre for a 'laned swim' during the lunch break. For £4.50 you get from 12.15 until 1.30 if you need to swim for that long. Changing facilities are clean and spacious and cater for disabled swimmers and adults with young children. The pool is a standard 50 metres and three lanes are roped off for fast, medium and slow swimming with a board that indicates the direction you should swim in. The remainder of the pool is available to those who are beginners or people who like to stand in water shooting the breeze with friends. Other facilities include a small, shallow pool for parents and toddlers, Aqua Fit classes and a gym (not visited) There's also an outdoor astro turf surface for other sports. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Positive experience: Staff are always friendly and helpful, despite busy queues sometimes on class change overs. There is a wide range of classes on offer; delivered in a fun way by experienced and highly capable staff. Booking in advance is advisable, due to demand. The pool is full size, and the gym is modern, well equiped, supervised and appealing to all ages. Membership is a sensible price and very worthwhile.

Positive experience: Nicer than most, shame the lady's changing room floor could be cleaner. Pool lovely not too busy.

Fantastic experience: My kids go swimming here for lessons and have come on brilliantly. The staff are great with them. I have also been a member of the gym which has fantastic up to date equipment and is really well priced as you get lessons and swim included. There are many different sorts available here.
