Negative experience: Staff are great but faulty equipment takes forever to repair

Negative experience: Went 2 days running, day 1 told got a discount with my ocl card, day 2 told no such thing, card is just so they know I've been. Day 1 family swim 9:15 to 10:45 told same following day but all told to leave at 10am. Nightmare to find the swim times online. Really disappointing. Day 1 though nice staff member offering alternative floats, rest of staff both days very serious

Positive experience: Local sports centre and swimming pool. Quite dated and could benefit from an upgrade especially in the changing rooms. Having said that, it has everything you need for local sports activities

Fantastic experience: Maybe Failsworth Sports Centre is not very big but it has everything that Sports Centre needs. Everything and everyone is very friendly. I enjoy coming to the centre every week .

Positive experience: Would give it a 4* however they have integrated the kids gym with the adults & the lads do nothing but mess about & the girls are too busy taking selfies. Also cleaning issues in the ladies changing room and toilet. Staff friendly, especially Stu 5 stars!

Negative experience: The female toilets are disgusting! I’ve complained verbally but it has made no difference. They are a health hazard with dried on pee on the underside of the toilet seats. GROSS!

Fantastic experience: Failsworth Sports Centre offers a well-rounded experience for fitness enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. The highlight of the facility is undoubtedly its five-star gym. Equipped with state-of-the-art machines and free weights, the gym is rarely crowded, providing an almost exclusive feel. This allows for uninterrupted workouts and easy access to equipment at any time of the day. The swimming pool, which boasts I would say the the cleanest water you'll find across all sports centres well maintained, offering a refreshing and hygienic environment for swimmers. Everyone is very social and it makes a change from the other sites. The staff at Failsworth Sports Centre deserve special mention for their friendliness and professionalism. Their positive attitude and helpful nature contribute significantly to the inviting atmosphere of the centre. However, The sports centre is beginning to show its age, and certain parts of the facility, particularly the changing rooms and could do with some tender loving care. Updating areas would go a long way in enhancing the overall user experience.

Fantastic experience: Every Sunday for 2 hours a bit like church for the blood pressure ,1 down side is the carpark is sometimes overflowing due to football on neighbouring fields ,perhaps a barrier entry system for paying guests

Negative experience: Issues with cleaning issues due to minimum wage staff and no proper cleaners. Poolside changing rooms are filthy. Overpriced. This is the second time I've had to post a 1 star review because the last one was removed. Centre should be put back in full council ownership when it was run properly.

Positive experience: No complaints with staff or other visitors but adding salt to the chlorine in your pool would make a huge difference... my eyes where streaming for hours afterwards

Fantastic experience: Easy to get to, a good range of facilities for a small centre and lots of parking most days, does get busy on a Saturday morning because of the football pitches

Fantastic experience: Plenty of parking right beside the 3G pitch. The facilities are quite good here, including snack bars and toilets. Having the raised terrace provides a better view over the game.

Positive experience: Pool and changing rooms are a bit small and it can get busy which makes it seem even smaller. It is kept clean however. I haven't been anywhere here other than the pool so the other facilities do not factor into my review.

Negative experience: Nice and local centre however arrived at 20:25 for a half hour swim knowing the session ended at 21:00. From arrival staff were clearly frustrated at the fact I arrived so late and the mens changing room has NO privacy what so ever with fully open changing, showers and a single toilet and urinal. Pool however was at a warm temperature and nice and empty which was nice as it meant I did not need to dodge people. Leaving, I was shocked to see Creamy Hot Chocolate from the vending machine to be £1.50 so I ended up with a strong tea with little milk costing £1.00. ALL HOT DRINKS ARE 65P AT BROADWAY. At this point there was 3 members of staff which were obviously waiting for me to leave so they could go home. I just found them impolite and just overall rude.

Positive experience: Friendly staff, the gym recently renovated gym is well equipped and classes are great fun and usually run on time. However, the pool changing facilities have needed updating for years and are in a VERY poor state of disrepair with mould, flaking paint and broken lockers etc.

Fantastic experience: Rugulary use of the swimming pool on weekends. Helpful and friendly staff, really clean facilities including changing rooms, swimming pool and the gym. Prices could be a little better. It cost around £5 for 1 adult and 1 child swimming if your not a member. Few vending machines for snacks and drinks that accept cards. Free parking.
