Negative experience: Terrible inconsistency in the working hours. Unreliable timetable. Have been waiting half an hour past opening hours and no one has showed up. Failed to reach out to anyone over the phone or their social pages.

Fantastic experience: Nice place

Positive experience: I stopped by during a short trip. The gym is enjoyable when not crowded, and that's been my case. I've been able to do my exercises without issues or queues. They're not fully equipped but still, if you do not pretend, it'll be enough

Negative experience: They have been charging me for 3 months and they never sent me a confirmation of registration! Give me back my money, I have been paying and I have never left.

Staff are great, it's always spotless and any equipment that's old or tired is replaced immediately. Run like a well oiled machine. A couple more treadmills would be great as they can be all used up during peak times, but thats to be expected. Other gyms, take note! Class gym

Negative experience: I had a free trial on the 23rd of November at 2pm.. it was my first time going to the gym. As I arrived I was shown the changing room. Then I was told to look around and try out the equipment by myself. I thought I would be given a tour and induction to the machines. I was left to suss out how they worked. I did go to find someone to get help. But I needed more help and I couldn’t find anyone. I felt uncomfortable and needed guidance. My hour session only lasted 20 minutes because I decided to leave. I went straight to Kings Hall which does not have the best of equipment but they were very friendly and helpful. It’s such ashame.

Fantastic experience: I was staying in Homerton for a while and did a month membership. I really enjoyed training at this gym. There is a friendly, relaxed but focussed vibe and a nice sense of community. It’s not huge but had everything I needed for a good workout. I’d recommend this gym to all levels of user, from beginner to serious.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly community environment with lots of staff available to help with the smallest of matters. The scheduled classes do well to provide a variety of exercises for ranging skill levels. Perhaps more morning classes for the early birds? Either way I’m content with the available classes. I would highly recommend this space to friends and family.

Negative experience: The gym closes too early. It is so important when training that you are able to fit your workout in no matter what. The open hours are just too short, especially on weekends, this is why I'm changing gym. Also if one payment bounces you get charged an extra £20. It would make more sense just to charge the card every 5 days until the payment goes through.

Positive experience: 4.5 stars. My local gym is decent and convenient. Its a good location and machines and weights are mostly maintained. A few broken ones but that's normal (saw yesterday they're being fixed). At the start I received help to sign up by a lovely staff member. Picked up my fob and all was well. So I thought... I received a few phone calls and text message asking how's it going, pointing out that I had not been in the gym for a week (I had been 5 days out of 7)... next time I went to the gym I enquired and asked to check if my fob was working and all was well! They also added me to a WhatsApp group chat with 20-30 other people for 48 hours - nobody wrote anything in the chat - weird(!). I was a bit annoyed but didn't ask why they did that... When I've not been in the gym for 5 days or so they check up on me by sending a text msg (personalised) and it's quite nice actually. Inside the gym there is enough space during off-peak hours (I never go peak hours because I hate it!). Staff are kind and love that they clean (hoover etc) during the day as I am asthmatic and struggle anyways with exercise and dust. Love that the air con is always on, the cardio area, free weights and how its very welcoming to women. I have tried a lot of gyms where men have acted in non acceptable ways and here it never feels unsafe. One con is that there are only two bathrooms and no hooks to hang your bags etc. Most of the time the toilets are clean. Haven't tried the showers but they look ok. I would also love if the weekend hours were longer.

Positive experience: Really like the gym. Good equipment and nice vibe. Only downside is the opening hours, would be great if they extended their closing times by around an hour on each day. Especially the weekends. That's the only thing currently holding this gym back.

Fantastic experience: I’ve joined less then two months ago after moving to the area, I have to say I’m coming from one of the big multiple floors leisure centres, and I don’t miss it despite the big difference in size. I attend classes once a week and it’s starting to feel like a community, it’s not an intimidating environment at all, when I need help I know I will find someone willing to lend a hand. It’s small but it has everything you need, and the price is hard to beat. Personnel is friendly and approachable, I’m a big fan of the individual lockable showers too Big shoutout to PT Haks, knowledgeable, understanding and super helpful.

Positive experience: I went for a trial session. It's actually smaller than it looks online which was a bit off putting as I can imagine during the peak hours it must be very busy. Relatively clean although some paddings could do with a refresher. I only real disappointment is that they don't open until 6am. Why isn't there a gym in Homerton open before 6am ‍♀️

Positive experience: It’s a good gym but… not great for a beginner. The first day I joined, I was asked for my name, stood in front of the camera awkwardly to get my picture taken and then a long pause ensued. To which the guy looked up at me and said “you can go work out now…?” And I had to ask him “Do I not get an induction? Where are the changing rooms? Lockers? I haven’t been to a gym for over 12 years so I’m quite new and nervous to this”. Anyway. He reluctantly showed me the changing room area and lockers and that was all. As you can tell not a great start and really had to shrug this feeling off and thought for £36, this is really what I’m getting? Anyway, you just start to use the gym on your own accord and thank god for social media apps as that is what I had to go on to find work outs and sets and how to use certain equipment which are quite daunting for a beginner who’s starting to find their feet again. Another thing I noticed, the workers there seem super fun and all on social media but in the actual gym, come across quite unapproachable. I guess it’s true, don’t believe what you see on social media. It’s just a shame as I imagined in my head that I can’t wait to ask them for advice and all. I really don’t want to be negative as this is just my experience and maybe this is just the culture at gyms. But for the price you pay and the service in return, is not worth it, when you work so hard for your money. However, I can tell there are people there who are more experienced so get on with their work outs and that all. So my feedback is very much for the gym to understand what it may feel like for a beginner, especially for someone who has struggled with convincing themselves to join the gym for years. As a result, I have cancelled my membership and would like to advise the gym to provide some staff training and *especially* to the younger staff members.

Fantastic experience: I've just subscribed online and the first impression is great! I love how efficient this company is. Super simple way to join the gym, just 1 email confirmation with all the instructions and you can even pick your own start date! Wow! I've been a member of other gyms and this one so far is the number one when it comes to admin. Simple, to the point, efficient. Plus I love the idea not being tied up to a 12 months contract. The prices for the membership are just great too! Cant wait to start next week :)

Fantastic experience: Clean and tidy gym with a number of classes taking place on weekdays. Relatively quieter after 8pm.

Fantastic experience: It's not so busy most of the day so you can go in and get on with your workout. It's also quite a nice space aswell.

Negative experience: The gym is OK. The customer service is miserable. They charged me the entire monthly rate although the gym was close for the lockdown without any mention of a refund. A complete lack of simpathy towards the customer. Dismessed.

Negative experience: Positives: cheap, good value for money, good spin instructor. Negatives from the last two times I’ve been in: the hand sanitiser at the door was empty, and I’ve struggled to find other hand sanitiser pumps in the gym, but they are there if you search for hard. They have blue roll and antibac spray, but the sprays are limited or hidden by machines. They should add more sprays, one for every machine or switch to antibacterial wet wipes.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, staff are always friendly, helpful and welcoming. The gym is a good size, never too busy and cleaned thoroughly and regularly since Covid. Always a good atmosphere to work out in. I also recently moved out of London and made a mistake with freezing/cancelling membership, they were super helpful and worked it out so I didn't have to pay an extra admin fee - thank you!

Negative experience: 4 the money we get ripped of in London go to Essex pay £20 Have a football field. Of machines friendly people and have a sauna at the end just saying!!

Fantastic experience: I've been a member for about four years and it's been great. It's a mid range gym, nothing luxurious, but it's always clean and has plenty of equipment. There's quite a bit of space so you never feel crowded. Staff are friendly. It's everything you need from a local gym and the atmosphere is always positive.

Negative experience: No recommendation here. I arrived during opening hours and the gym was closed. What inconvenience is next..

Negative experience: Gyms meant to be opened at 8 Sunday and here I am with 5 others waiting for it to be open. It’s half 8 and no ones here. Absolutely disappointed!! What a joke!
