Positive experience: Nice and clean environment within the gym premises, clean and tidy and maintained changing rooms and shower facilities. Gym and equipment are kept clean and tidy and staff are welcoming and helpful and there are some vending machines for energy drinks and bars.

Fantastic experience: Decent gym , price is brilliant . Staff are friendly . Don't visit at peak times but always have the equipment to use . I have nothing to compare it as it the first gym I have joined but have no reason to move anywhere else as it suits my needs .

Negative experience: Not good at all, most of the male lockers are damaged, when is busy you need to waste too much time to find locker which is working properly to keep to stuff securly locked, only one private shower, second out of service for months

Positive experience: Went here over the Christmas period while away from my regular gym. The gym was clean and not too busy and had most machines/weights/racks that I needed.

Positive experience: Great place to train. Only drawback seems to be no maintenance person. Cable machine been broke for 6weeks plus and shower cubicle broken since October.

We would like to assure you that we are reviewing feedback and will ensure this is addressed in club. Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can. Thanks, PureGym
Fantastic experience: It's got everything you need for a great workout. Enough machines, enough dumbbells, and enough cable attachments for everyone. Staff are really nice too. Really good gym. Bromborough PureGym is much better than Brunswick PureGym.

Fantastic experience: Had my first gym session with PT Isaac. Was recommended him by my daughter and he was fabulous. Was really nervous because I'm unfit and had a recent back injury, but he was really patient and understanding. He explained every exercise and has given me a full plan going forward. Definitely coming back ️♂️

Negative experience: The sports water machine is not working for the 100th time, Pure gym needs to keep up with providing customer service when it comes to things like this, just Writting a note & putting it on the machine is not good enough! Really annoying!!

Positive experience: Ignore my last review.... i terminatrd my membership on 28th January 2024. Recievced an email to akmoledge stating the last day i could use the gym was 28th Feb 2024. On 29th feb they took another months membership. When i complained they refused to return the money and implied it was owed. so members be warned dont believe them when they say they will not take more money. Terminate the direct debit with your bank. Putegym have not been honourable with me The following review was requested by .puregym when i rejoined in 2023 l and have noticed improvements. Although some of the improvements haven't been economically wise. An example is the new locker locks. Most are broken due to the bad design and people having to force open the lock to retrieve their belongings. I have also noticed people are leaving them occupied overnight as I use the gym in the early hours and noticed the gym empty, but the lockers occupied. The fancy locking should be replaced with uncomplicated hasp fasteners, and to save money, they merely weld them on to the doors. Other than that, I've noticed the improvements in the gym equipment as most of the inherited equipment is gone

Positive experience: Friendly staff, plenty of equipment and not too crowded. They currently have political posters on the wall which is I believe inappropriate for a place which is supposed to make people of all persuasions comfortable.

Positive experience: It's alright but the Bidston one is better. The changing rooms definitely need upgrading though. Some of the equipment is old too and I don't like the layout. Bidston is good with the two floors weights on ground floor, cardio on first floor.

Positive experience: Everything's excellent except the changing rooms and showers. The lockers are too small and the locks are often faulty. The showers, of which only 5 are working, are decrepit, generously coated with mould and mildew and they smell like a public toilet in Sudan

Negative experience: I do not recommend this gym as i had enquired about upgrading through email, only to find out that they have decided to upgraded me anyway. The good news is there is no phone number to speak to anyone to rectify it quickly. Only an email service which is not helpful when you need to fix problems quickly. I wish I had not emailed them. Its ok if you don't plan to enquire about anything to do with the gym.

Negative experience: Week 3.
Fantastic experience: For anybody who is nervous about joining a new gym or getting back to fitness, this is a great gym to come to. Not only will you be greeted with smiles and kindness, but you will be able to relax and know there is expert advice in all areas of fitness, recovery, and nutrition. The gym is kept to the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the whole gym area, including the spin and fitness classrooms, toilets, and showers, which are gleaming and toilet rolls always provided. The gym is manned by daily cleaners, and the team is friendly and polite, including all of the instructos too, with all vending machines well stocked. Love this pure gym ❤️

The busyness does fluctuate throughout the day, and from day-to-day. We have implemented a section to the website and the app which informs our members how many people are in the gym at that time and a graph to show the previous busyness of the gym on certain dates for comparison which we have found has really helped our members plan their workouts. Fantastic experience: Because staff are helpful get left do workout what done with gym since reopening with covid19 is amazing clean tidyed spot on if look for gym go for pure gym bromborough or any other pure gyms
Fantastic experience: One of the PTS in there Rob White Fitness is brilliant, he's given me so many tips on exercises. Very impressed, more equipment out this week .Very clean and tidy. Lovely staff all round excellent gym for any age or beginner

Negative experience: Gym has now been open for a few months. There is no doubt it is good value for money but you do get what you pay for. Old equipment mixed with new often some out of order. Cleanliness is appalling I have yet to see anyone cleaning just one hand sanitizer. If your going to join a Pure Gym then make it Bidston so much better.
Hi Garry, we’re sorry to hear this may affect your enjoyment of the gym. Staff do regular cleaning checks in the gym and we have dedicated cleaning teams who come each night to carry out and comply with internal and external audits. Of course, during peak times it can be difficult for us to compete all cleaning routines, however as soon as it is possible our staff will complete all procedures and checks. If you have concerns with the cleanliness in your gym we can check the cleaning rotas and ensure all procedures are being followed. Negative experience: Broken secondhand lockers and dirty showers full of mold. That's after two days with no changing rooms for an update and improvements

Positive experience: Good gym but it gets so busy you can throw any of your planned routines out of the window. Just have to jump on whatever becomes free first or you'll be waiting a lifetime for the kit you had planned.

Negative experience: I feel the takeover by puregym has been done cheaply as some/most of the equipment has not been renewed, this is especially noticeable with the treadmills, these are clearly the same as with the previous gym, already less than two months after reopening there have been treadmills out of use. There is still no wifi, this despite your website clearly stating wifi is available. Although these issues do not affect my ability to use the gym, I am slightly unimpressed with the new owners. I am certain many other members of this gym are unimpressed with the takeover which, so far, appears to have been limited to new carpets, some new paint and balloons at the entrance ( these have now been removed ). Could puregym please advise if/when wifi is to be provided as was the case with the previous owners. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I have trained at this gym on a casual basis when visiting family for about ten years. Over that time the gym has changed owners at least 3-4 times. The way it’s laid out now looks really good and there seems to be more staff presence than previously. The system for buying a casual pass online is so much easier than having to pay per visit last time I was there. Overall a well equipped and very reasonably priced gym, highly recommended.

Negative experience: Despite having to pay a joining fee, some of the equipment is still the same and they've removed some of the step machines, still no wifi, haven't refitted the changing room, lockers still there and haven't even replaced the slidey toilet seat. NO WIFI despite it being advised on the website.

Negative experience: Still no WiFi, I have noticed Pure gym responses ignore the feedback and answer back like a politician. For example please see a member of staff in the gym, please contact us through social media. What are you doing about no WiFi for customers of this pure gym in Bromborough?

Negative experience: Half the equipment was before I joined back in klick days and is very tired and well used over the years, even though was told all new equipment. Likewise the facilities in changing room which hasn't changed one bit again like the equipment. Disappointing launch to what seemed a promising future once puregym took it over but compared to bidston its not even close and this is apparently "new" Not really sure why it took 6 weeks to throw some paint up and lay a new carpet... The shower took 3 goes to even warm up and that was why it was delayed a further week than planned. Overall very disappointed and demotivated by my 1st visit yesterday.
Fantastic experience: Love the new PUREGYM Bromborough. Top quality equipment and a huge range too. All the staff where helpful and friendly especially Mike Harper (Assistant Manager), who shown me around and helped me to get familiar with the equipment and layout .
Negative experience: Was a member of the 24/7 gym which was here previously, and of the klik gym too. When 24/7 took over, there was loads of info, the transition was seamless and there was nothing for me to do. My membership just swapped over, and that was fine. So When the pure advert appeared in the gym I expected at least a little info, maybe a letter even announcing what was happening, and that I would have to pay a joining fee to pure as way of a thank you for shutting my gym. Also I’m going to pay more a month. Why? Communication is key to keeping customers happy....this is simply not good enough. And then to have not opened on time. Glad I’ve not yet joined... still contemplating my choices....

PureGym's takeover of this building was simply us taking over the space rather than taking over the gym company itself which is why we didn't transition 24/7 members into PureGym. I do apologise if representatives haven't conveyed information to prospective members well in the area but we are an online company and lots of information can be found on our website and social media pages or by reaching us through our help center where our team will be more than happy to talk through membership options and how PureGym operate. Negative experience: Bromborough as of 11.12.2019 Not open due to no hot water . I joined today after speaking to customer services,they knew I was joining Bromborough never mentioned that it would be shut till Monday
