Fantastic experience: I have been a member at the Chelsea Harbour Club for a long time- it comes without saying that it’s my happy place- I’ve always have a marvelous time, from the moment I step through the doors. Mainly I use the restaurant where the food is absolutely delicious, the gym, the pool and the spa area. Staff is everywhere incredible helpful and very attentive. It is thanks to them that it feels like my second home. So many people I should be thankful over the years, but my gratitude goes out especially to one. The best lifeguard anyone can wish for, Mark. It is thanks to his encouragements, ongoing support and enthusiasm that I have learnt to properly swim. Without him, I wouldn’t have been able to prepare for my annual swimming races in open water. When I was about to give up, he would be at the poolside encouraging me to keep swimming and endure the long lonely training sessions. I didn’t know a gym could make someone feel so much ‘at home’. Couldn’t recommend this club more.

Positive experience: Good facilities and rarely too busy to do whatever you want. Clean. The classes are limited out of day time hours, and often not instructor led. Also does become a hectic with children in the after school time/weekend morning.

Fantastic experience: A fantastic club with great facilities and classes. It is especially good for children with first-class tennis and swimming coaching in particular.

Negative experience: Be careful. We just tried to leave the harbour club, and they’ve sent through a debt collector to try and charge us some 700 pound worth of fees. They didn’t collect the last month of payments due to their own issues, and no fault of our own. Then decide to add all sorts of late fees and an extra 200 pound with no explanation or contact, but think the right thing to do is go straight to debt collectors? I’ve asked numerous times for a phone number, but seems like they are scared to have any kind of human contact to explain what on earth they’re doing and trying to charge me for. Customer service from David Lloyd is a total and utter joke, massive waste of time and I wish I never joined. In response to your comment. I’ve asked numerous times for a contact phone number to which clearly you are unwilling to provide. Having your team members continually send through the same details of charges owed clearly is not going to help. Once again you’ve applied some 300 pound of erroneous fees and late charges, which again we are not going to pay given you decided not to take payment, and it is your responsibility not ours. So finally, if I can have someone’s phone number to get this sorted ASAP that would be ideal. Clearly this email chain is not going anywhere fast. So please get in touch or speak to your colleagues.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym with top-quality facilities, including a swimming pool and indoor tennis courts. The range of classes is great, everything is always clean, and the staff are attentive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Positive experience: The club is extremely good. Fantastic facilities - and as someone who plays a lot of racket sports - it’s truly a pleasure. Shame that I didn’t find it earlier but also good in some aspects as it makes sure the club is not overcrowded. Yet to trial all the classes & facilities but the gym , steam and sauna are very well maintained. Special shoutout to Zuhra for making this a very smooth process and being prompt with her replies. Definitely would recommend.

Negative experience: They told us the £1K joining fee would be returned 5 months after our membership ended (have got confirmation on this from them in writing). 5 months after our membership ended we are told it’s actually 2-3 years. So they lied to us when we were deciding whether to sign up. Wouldn’t use the Harbour Club again

Negative experience: Dear future clients! You should be aware that the return of your deposit will take 2-3 years, and you will not receive the total amount, but a £1050 instead of £1555. You will not be informed of this when purchasing the membership. This seems to be borderline petty tinkering.

Fantastic experience: BESSTTT club in London!!! Gorgeous facilities etc, but what really makes this place special is the INCREDIBLE teachers!!! Leo’s Jump is literally like going to the best, most fun dance club ever. Music is OUT OF THIS WORLD, most infectious energy and just MINDBLOWING!!! Shaun teaches the most PHENOMENAL dance fitness on a Tuesday which is soooooo creative, challenging, FUN beyond words and the best workout!!! His Jump is also SOOOOOO awesome!!! Christian’s BodyPump is truly something special!!! The routines and music may be created for him but he makes the magic happen!!! He teaches something different every week, his cues are AMAZING and his energy and positivity inspires me every week! All three of these guys add soooo much happiness and joy to my life!!! Thank you guys! I couldn’t live without you!!!

Fantastic experience: I recently joined the Gym and loved the atmosphere in general, very welcoming open space with restaurant, tennis courts and a lovely spa area which includes a lovely jacuzzi. The gym area as many high end advanced machines and various classes if that tingles your fancy for those days you need a little more motivation. :)

Fantastic experience: As a family we recently joined the Chelsea Harbour club this summer, and thoroughly enjoyed the improvement in balance it has given us to spend time together and individually use facilities / classes at the club. We initially looked at the club a couple of years ago, but did not join and tried out other options closer to us, none of which compared in terms of facilities and range of classes. But having now moved closer it was an easy decision to join. As a full schedule of classes and kids clubs resume in September we look forward to enjoying more at the club. Based on our experience so far, we highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Already this has become my calm oasis to equally unwind and relax, while also managing to burn some calories too in a supportive and friendly environment. The reception staff are always helpful with any question big or small, PTs and class instructors are knowledgeable and all members have been welcoming since I joined two weeks ago. And for me, to top off the amazing gym with my favourite piece of equipment AKA The Motorized Foam Roller, fantastic wet spa with sauna, aroma room and steam room, lovely changing rooms with keyless locking, the plush indoor tennis and padel courts are the best I've ever played on. I'm addicted!

Fantastic experience: Joined harbour club recently and enjoying the experience so far ! The club has nice facilities , tennis courts are not too fast , resurfaced well . Loads of fitness classes ; I really enjoyed the reformer Pilates one . The gym is two stories has good new equipment and is spacious . Welcoming staff and Daniel helped get the membership sorted fast. Also always a bonus to be able to use other David loyd clubs .

Negative experience: Horrendous customer service and lies! They play nice to get you to join but if you ever consider leaving you can forget about getting your refund back. No one is taking my calls and on emails I was told deposit back in 6 months and just today got told it’s 2-3 years! Never again David Lloyd clubs!

Fantastic experience: I recently joined Chelsea Harbour Club and couldn't be happier with my decision! The group exercise classes are phenomenal ❤️❤️❤️ – each session is dynamic, engaging, and led by incredibly knowledgeable instructors who ensure everyone gets the most out of their workout. Positive experience: We joined a few weeks ago and so far we have enjoyed the facilities available to us. We use the padel courts when they are free to book. The reformer classes are fab as well as pilates and they tend to be fully booked i worked out a way to send alerts to me on the app in case of any drop outs. The creche is clean and has lovely staff members. I think my son may grow out of it after some time but then he maybe be then move on to enjoy the kid’s classes on offer. I think the spa could be a little more fancy but i hardly have time to use it anyway. The cafe food is okay and great that there is a menu available when we are hungry, but we don’t always order as our kids like different options. I do love the bar and alcohol option as well as the showing of tennis and football on the screens. I was hesitant to join a David Lloyds group club but i think the feeling here at Harbour club is exceptional as the members are lovely and the hospitality is 5* so far.

The indoor swimming pool is fantastic, and I can't wait to start using the tennis courts and steam room. The staff at Harbor Club Chelsea are incredibly friendly and welcoming. From the moment you check in, you feel right at home. Little touches like the nice hair dryer after a swim really make a difference. From a Mom: I initially wasn't planning to sign up, but after visiting Harbor Club Chelsea with my daughter, I realized I needed this just as much as she did! The reformer Pilates classes with Nancy and the Aqua group classes with Eric are exactly what I was looking for. I've already met some wonderful ladies who also signed up with Danile. Fantastic experience: Is one month that I’m inside the club, this is the best club I ever been so far, have everything for me (tennis, paddle, gym, sauna, swimming pool ecc) but not only, I have everything I need for my baby!!

Negative experience: Dear potential clients of Harbour Club, I feel compelled to share my experience with you before you decide to join. I had a challenging time trying to get my deposit of £1550 back from the club. After long time of emails and phone calls, I was only able to recoup £1000, as the club deducted £550 as non-refundable. This lack of transparency and unexpected deduction left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I highly recommend reading all the one-star reviews before considering joining this club. It seems that the ONLY negative experiences shared by other members, including myself, are unfortunately true. The process of getting your deposit back from the club is a lengthy one, taking no less than three years. And even then, you may only receive half of your initial deposit due to undisclosed non-refundable fees. I urge you to consider this before making a decision to join Harbour Club. Make sure to clarify all terms and conditions, especially regarding deposit refunds, to avoid any surprises later on.

Fantastic experience: Signed up recently and have been very impressed with how friendly the staff are and how clean and new all the facilities are. Daniel in Sales deserves a special shout out for his amazing tours and patience with all my questions. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Joined this gym purely because I wanted a luxury swim and spa experiences with the option to gym it up or go to a fitness class. I’m very happy with my decision, I visited the club yesterday and had a great time. I probably ended up spending a good few hours just relaxing in the spa, swimming and having a quick bite in the restaurant. It was at no point too busy or I had to wait long to use any of the facilities. Perfect for me as someone with ADHD and anxiety and sensory issues. (This was weekday though so can’t speak for evenings or weekends) Zuhra as well was very helpful in answering all my questions and concerns before I signed up. Very good customer service I would highly recommend this club to everyone. Pricey but worth it in my opinion!

Fantastic experience: I recently took out a family membership and so far the experience has exceeded our expectations. A key selling point for us was the crèche for our 5 month old and it’s a lovely facility with a very kind and caring team. On his first visit our son cried when we left him there but now he’s more likely to cry when he has to leave. The children’s pool and changing facilities are first class too. We’ve been really impressed with all the facilities and the staff seem lovely too. Special mention to Zurha who gave us a very informative initial tour and ensured the sign up process was very smooth.

Negative experience: What an awful experience. After deciding to join the club, my family and I decided to leave as the commute to reach the club was long. At the end we did not even go one day to the club. We were within the cool off period and therefore entitled to the refund of the full joining fee. This was specifically agreed and formalized on emails sent by their sales manager. However, after 3 months I am still waiting this refund to be processed and no reason has been given to me. The promise to provide updates but none is given. They cannot provide a date of when the payment will be realised although they say the refund is approved. I am feeling victim of scam. Terrible feeling. The staff the sale team is not very reliable, so whatever they say when they invite you for a tour of the club just be aware that not everything is true. I hope this review can help who is reading to be extra careful before joining this club.
