Positive experience: Good location, parking is not great and it does get busy. Machines are a bit dated now.

Negative experience: The lack of (weights) plates is embarrassing. You have to go around collecting weights for every single machine or bench basically. With half gym capacity is impossible to find enough weights.

Positive experience: Great gym to workout. Lots of equipments. Great app so you can see the live strength at the gym and plan your visit accordingly skipping the rush hours. More things to explore in the app.

Positive experience: People coming to the gym removing their shoes and working in socks ( I’m not coming to the gym to smell your feet)

Fantastic experience: I've been a member of The Gym Group for a few days now, and it has exceeded my expectations. One of the standout features is the 24/7 access, which means I can work out whenever it suits my schedule, whether it's early in the morning or late at night. The gym is always well-maintained, and there’s never a shortage of equipment, no matter how busy it gets. Another huge plus is the free parking, which makes getting to the gym hassle-free, especially during peak hours. The staff are friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming environment for everyone, regardless of fitness level. Overall, The Gym Group offers excellent value for money with its convenient hours, ample parking, and wide range of equipment. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: I would strongly advise not to join this gym. The parking is ridiculous, if you have a job - I would not advise going to this gym especially in the evenings. You will spend at least 10 mins just waiting for a parking spot. The weight machines seem to be worn out and lots of wobbly seats on half of the machines (fly deck, chest press and shoulder press). Only one smith machine, and lots of people walking around with their bags leaving them in random places which caused me to trip over! Staff don’t really seem that helpful, just focus on trying to get their own clients rather than show some friendliness towards people. Quite disappointed with this gym.

Always people around to ask questions to as a new comer as long as you have the confidence to go up to people (introverts also given a lot of space to get on with their workouts as they please). Lots of positive reinforcement posters around and relatively cheap membership price. Free parking is a huge bonus for someone like me who drives there.

It's never too crowded, which is a plus, and there's a sufficient variety of machines and well-maintained equipment to cater to different fitness needs. The ample parking space is convenient, but remember to register your vehicle inside to avoid getting a ticket. However, one drawback I noticed is the scarcity of mirrors inside the gym, which can make it difficult to monitor form or check progress during workouts.‍♂️ Overall, despite this minor inconvenience, it's a good gym option for those seeking a hassle-free and effective workout environment.

Positive experience: Nice gym, equipments are spreader out in 2 floors. Good selection of equipment. I usually use the facility early in the morning when it is less busy. Some equipment is outdated or worn out. But with the money we pay.

Positive experience: A decent gym with all the equipments you would really need for a good workout session. A good amount of classes, however they get booked up very quickly and gets busy with not enough space even for the number of 20 spaces advertised. Working out spaces gets a bit restricted if the class is full. Would be good if some more afternoon classes get introduced to help with the demand or bigger space. Nevertheless, the gym instructors are amazing, friendly with a good sense of humour and they go out of their way to motivate each one of us during the classes. A variety of workout sessions to suit each one. Parking spaces can be annoying at times and i have ended up missing a couple of classes due to no parking space. Hopefully something is put in place to expand the parking facilities. Overall, good gym! Would have been a 5 star rating, if it wasn’t for class & parking restrictive space.

Fantastic experience: Been coming to the gym now for 5 years. 3 years of that has been with The Gym. I've never had any issues. Love the 24 hour aspect as a mum of 2, 5am seems to be the sweet spot for me. All personal trainers are super friendly and always happy to help. Great place to slip your headphones on and smash a good work out.

Negative experience: Got 3 times parking tickets on my visits as a new member. Is a shame the Gym member staff can't do nothing about it.i need yo pay £90 after my appeals was not all accepted. This is unacceptable.

Negative experience: Turned up to have a look around. Parking was poor for a gym of that size as you had to queue for a space. That was an immediate put off. Then waited over 10 minutes for nobody to answer the door, so I left and signed up to JD sports gym instead.

Negative experience: This a great gym especially if you can go off peak - the staff are nice the equipment is new and there’s lots of cable crossovers and you can usually get on any piece of kit you need to. So why the low score? The parking. This is not plentiful and the spots are v small. Worse it’s run by a private parking company. You have to register your reg EVERY time you visit. Forget and you’ll get a ticket which will be very aggressively perused including threats of legal action and bad credit. They push the boundaries of legality to harassment and bullying. Surely just registering one or two vehicles to your account online upon joining would be better?

Positive experience: Pretty decent gym. Men's toilets are in quite an awful state though, same with the lockers (many are broken)

Positive experience: Decent amount of equipment. Plenty of squatting racks! Always seems tidy. Good gym etiquette, members puts weights back and the staff on duty are always helpful and friendly. Affordable prices and really easy to join or cancel. The app they provide is also really useful.

Negative experience: Another victim of this pointless parking fine procedures. Finally time to swap to pure gym Theyve just sent 2 more parking tickets. Thats it. Thieves

Positive experience: Great gym, could do with 1 more bench on top floor. Showers could be cleaned more frequently, otherwise never had issues with accessing equipment. When a class is on, be ready to move somewhere else, this could be a bit more organised really but all in total 4 stars for this Gym! ;)

Negative experience: Lovely Gym, Shame about getting 8 parking fines in my first 2 weeks. I’m a new member and for the first week I did not notice the signs requiring you to register your vehicle on every visit. (I tend to be looking at my workout app and focused on my gym session so easily missed the signage) I have 4 fines that the car park company are trying to make me pay even though I sent them a screenshot of my gym usage. I would really appreciate any help from the gym management & I would happily edit this to a 5 star review because I actually like the gym. Great facilities & friendly staff. Negative experience: Update: I'm sorry, but removing all cleaning stations to 'cut plastic' is simply unacceptable. Enabling hygiene practices helps prevent the spread of infections and illnesses, ensuring a safe and healthy environment. It looks like the group has put health and safety second to profit, which is a shame. Wouldn't be surprised if it went against the law as well (eg. the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974: employers must ensure the health, safety, and welfare of their employees and the public) --- Great gym, clean, plenty equipment and efficient check in/out. My only notes for improvement would be: - more cleaning stations, eg one in the free weights area would be perfect - repair the dyson hand drier in the male toilet. It's been faulty for a long time, and can be easily repaired

Negative experience: Timespan Review 2023 - Gym Bracknell ⭐⭐ 2015 - Gym Bracknell ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent When they opened the equipment was faily good, new and clean. Sadly 80-90% of the equipment is what was there from 2015.. little or no change year on year. Cleanliness had dropped dramatically post COVID (pics attached) and this is not great for people that have respiratory illness and as we go into summer there are flies. Some shower cubicles don't lock Toilet are regularly blocked or closed Sanitary bins in ladies are over flowing I can only hope they return to the original standards and start enforcing some of their rules. Kit not returned to stand, many don't use towels or clean their sweaty patches on benches. Machines left with stacks of weights so the next person has to remove them before they can exercise. Far too many people that think rules don't apply to them .. making phone calls.. video calls ( change rooms are not always safe, you could find yourself live of a call or Instagram) and those that hold 2/3 pieces of kit and block anyone using them for 20-30 minutes. Peak times, there are too many people socialising and it's difficult to get on equipment. Then there's the barf crew.. you know the type.. The one selling arrogant even if no one is buying. One rep wonders that load the plates.. slam or drop them then spend 20 minutes talking loud about their fantasy achievements. This year maybe the last as all my friends and family who joined with me have moved to other gyms.. because of the above.

Fantastic experience: I didn't even wanna leave this review since I don't want the competition for classes but Simeon's ab work will destroy you, which is exactly what you want from a class. Seen more difference doing those for a couple months than I have from doing ab work on my own for a lot longer. Tie him down to a lifetime contract @thegymbracknell, got a good routine going here.

Positive experience: Good gym for the money - clean, plenty of machines and the staff are lovely. The car park on the other side is pretty bad - it’s very small, so there’s always a queue and they’ve recently added ANPR cameras with requirement to register your car even if you are a member. The machine is constantly broken and I’ve had to pay two parking fines even though I am a member and was at the gym at the time. Very frustrating!

Positive experience: A nice, clean, airy and bright gym with an accompanying app that lets you see how many people are using the gym at any one time. Got over my fear of the gym here. Open 24hrs, come and go as you please, but I've never seen any staff members here unless they are running a class. Much nicer than the other dreary gym down the road which stinks of sweat at the best of times.

Negative experience: The gym is good as expected, however for my 2nd visit, I got a parking ticket for using the Gym group car park for a 40 mins stay and I don't understand why. Really disappointed by this and now I may cancel my membership as I cannot attend.

As someone who wears a sunflower lanyard, the staff have picked up on it and they put in the effort to say good morning or how are you doing so knowing that they are keeping an extra eye on me is extra reassurance for me.
