Positive experience: Attended on four occasions for a physio course. The staff at the centre were friendly and knowledgeable. The general vibe within all other areas was pleasant and staff were helpful and polite Plenty of spaces in the car park too

Fantastic experience: New to the area, but not to leisure centres in RCT. Not the biggest gym, but it's spaced out, clean and has decent music which is great if your like me and forget your headphones

Fantastic experience: I have been attending this centre for about two months now doing a selection of classes and times at the gym. All the staff are wonderful and supportive and will adjust exercises in classes dependent on your personal circumstances. The staff members I have found particularly awesome are Vicky, Gareth and the lady who does the core strength on Monday (so sorry I can't remember your name!)

Fantastic experience: Forget everything else - this is what what you get if you hire Hawthorn leisure centre for a party for toddlers!! Approx £120 for two hours (at time of posting) and you bring your buffet. Ideal for a bunch of screaming lunatics. If you *have* to stay to chaperone your child, I recommend noise cancelling headphones.

Couple off double pulley machines and selection off machine that cover most off the body and well spaced out... plenty off machines to go around so not much waiting for one to be free.... could do with benches for the pulley machines apart from that.. i recommend this sport centre...

Positive experience: Good clean facilities but the gym is very small with limited equipment. If the gym was bigger then I would give 5 stars. The sauna/steam room is a couple of years old but you would not know that as it has been kept up to a good standard and is very clean. The showers are spacious unlike the new rhondda fach unisex showers. If you want to use a select few machines and then hit the sauna and steam room then this is definitely the place to go. I was not too keen on the camera in the sauna area though. The thought of being watched in your bathers is not a comfortable thought.
