Negative experience: gyms alright, pools alright. hard to contact and staff clearly have no experience with dealing with people with autism. some incredibly rude staff members.

Fantastic experience: The staff are really nice and everything is always spotless it's a nice atmosphere everyone I've met has been friendly and keep to them selves I'm a premium member so everything is included which is brilliant if you want to try everything from the gym to swimming and the classes would definitely recommend

Negative experience: treat people disgustingly, revoked a well known member of 20 years who has created a charity for the help of their members mental health issues and then removed his membership, kicking him out! then blocked his wife and family!! disgusting

Negative experience: Shame you treat longstanding customers like poo. 20 year member helping a vulnerable member and you cancel their membership. Disgraceful

Negative experience: Attended a spin class on Thursday at 17:15. Arrived ten minutes early, with the instructor already there and felt very unwelcome - super cliquey class. No one welcomed us, no one explained the equipment or the format of the class. Luckily we regularly attend spin elsewhere but we were sat next to 3 women who were also new and were also ignored. We made up a third of the class so this was super disappointing. Another member saw we were confused after 20 minutes and explained the set up of the screen which was helpful but felt like this should have been done by the instructor at the beginning so we would have feel less lost throughout. The language used was discouraging as it didn’t make sense to the newbies but clearly was understood by the few regulars at the front. Luckily first session at the centre is free (which is great!) otherwise I would’ve asked for a refund. Dissapoitning as I’m super passionate about women (especially) feeling safe and valued in sport at any level.

Fantastic experience: Wow, just been relocated for work and needed to find a gym, really impressed with the level of equipment, range of classes, cleanliness and the informative and welcoming staff. As good if not better than what I had experienced in London and at half the price

Negative experience: Terrible gym refused to let me buy a membership and permanently banned me from the gym

Positive experience: Pool is good and swimming lessons are great. Unfortunately, the changing rooms could be cleaner

Fantastic experience: Went to the disability swim with my 2 sons and partner and it was great ! Nice friendly female lifeguard and nice lady on reception. Only fault was kids messing around in one of the 2 disabled changing rooms when we were waiting to get changed which caused my autistic son to have a bit of a meltdown. Not the leisure centres fault. Could do with more than 2 changing rooms for disabled. Or at least checking them before the disability session starts so this can be avoided. Other than that it was great will be visiting again. Negative experience: Great gym But there is No swimming pool or showers is available right now, pretty much useless. They expect me to use the gym but not take a shower, huh. Not not worth the money & I'm not everyone can use one at home.

Fantastic experience: Went for a swim in the pool today. It’s a 25m pool, plus paddling pool. Friendly staff, clean pool and not too busy at 11am to get a few lengths in. There’s a costa coffee machine there for an after-swim pickup.

Negative experience: Wow £9 a.class for non members

Fantastic experience: I use this place on the weekends when away for work. It is open only on Saturday until 5pm, so if I finish work a bit late I can't put in a good workout. I wish they were open a bit longer. But the facilities are really good, nice choice of machines and free weights. Nothing to fault.

Positive experience: Great quality gym equipment, lots of room downstairs and even has a outdoor section. It's getting expensive £35 pm now £420 a pa (2023) ,never used the pool, I'd rather that be charged separate so it makes my membership cheaper to be honest. I paid for my 17 year old son to use the gym for a hour with me and it was £10 way to much...i slso have to have my headphones turned up very high because of the loud music downstairs,, opening hours are good that's why i mainly go here.

Fantastic experience: Pool is freezing but with the heat right now it was appreciated. Shame the smaller pool was closed due to sand coming out of the filter.

Negative experience: They ask you to leave if you're breastfeeding your child despite it being legal to do so.

Negative experience: Not a welcoming place to breastfeed your child. Lifeguards ask you to leave despite there being no illegality in breastfeeding your infant in public.
