Fantastic experience: I popped in today and was greeted by who I believe is the manager; if he’s not the manager I’ll be very surprised as he’s communication skills and helpful was unparalleled. I am partially sighted and I cannot praise him anymore and if I could give him 10 stars I would, he’s an asset to the company and his name is Micah.
Negative experience: Simply because the size isn't suitable for the volume of members. Can never get on equipment, the price is ridiculous in relation to what it offers, would rather pay extra for traditional bodybuilder gym.

Negative experience: Very poor gym. Often pressured to move off equipment after only 5-10 minutes of use, or share during this time with random men. Staff are not helpful, and customer service is not existent. Avoid if you are a women and like safe spaces.

Negative experience: The equipment have been broken for more than a month, the hall was closed for several days and they did not repair even one device. Very shameful because nobody cares .

Fantastic experience: Really good gym staff very helpful everything very clean
Negative experience: How can you run a gym but not have the basics sanitary conditions? Have anti bacterial wipes is the basics in any gym. I wonder how they pass the higiene standards.

Robust cleaning regimes are still in place and we continue to pump in 100% fresh air ventilation, day and night, we clean on a daily basis, including cleaning of all equipment and gym facilities with anti-viral products. We encourage members to bring in a sweat towel to use after they have used a piece of equipment. Having cleaning stations has resulted in a significant increase in the amount of paper waster and we are focussed on minimising our waste as part of our commitment to Net-Zero. We are proud to be the very first Carbon Neutral Gym Chain in the UK. This is just a part of our efforts, for example we are also taking steps to reduce the amount of single use plastics in our vending machines.
Negative experience: This has the potential to be a good gym. However, machines break far too often and worst of all, they will be broken for huge amounts of time - this is usually the more popular equipment such as the cables or pec flys. When these are broken, it’s difficult to get a chance to use the ones that are not broken. In addition, the hygiene standards are pretty poor. The Gym Group are playing the “environment card” and have removed ALL antibacterial wipes and roll from all gyms (all hygiene stations) which is complete nonsense. Because of this, members do not wipe down equipment after use so there is constantly sweat patches on benches, mats and seats - in summer it’s particularly disgusting increasing the risk of ringworm. There now raising the prices - it used to be value for money but not so sure now.

Negative experience: I do not recommended this Gym, no way to communicate with a human, paid extra for smart drink and the machine was broken for over a month no option to get a refund. Eventually I cancelled my membership in the middle of the month, my access was blocked straight away although I had paid for the whole month in advance. Again, no refund, no option to contact a human support. Apart from that, the place has been always covered with dust, mats falling apart etc.

Negative experience: Been exercising for 10 years at this point. Been to a lot of gyms but this one has to be one of the worst. Overpriced. When a machine breaks it takes months to fix. The roof leaks. Unusable between the hours of 5-8:30pm. Impolite people. Toilets in horrible shape. Just a horrid experience all over. Update: They closed the gym for 3 days to “renovate” but 2 cable machines are broken, 3 separate machines are also broken and all the other old stuff is still there.

Negative experience: One of the staff today was Very very rude to me. Very bad attitude. Completely unacceptable. I’ve been using this gym for over a year and quite disappointed with how he approached me today. I think he’s been working here for like 3 - 4 months. Negative experience: I am deeply disappointed with The Gym Group due to their poorly designed cancellation policy, inefficient membership management, and subpar customer service. Firstly, the cancellation policy is incredibly unclear. Members are required to email to cancel their membership, but despite following this procedure, The Gym Group recorded my cancellation dates incorrectly. As a result, I was charged for two additional months that I did not use the membership. To add insult to injury, I had to pay a joining fee of £15 to reactivate my account. When I rejoined, my access code did not work for a full two days, causing significant inconvenience and frustration. Furthermore, despite paying for the Yanga water addition, this service was non-functional at this gym for over three months. Throughout this period, I continued to be charged for a service that was not provided. Adding to the frustration is the fact that all customer service interactions are handled by AI, with no option to speak to a real person. This lack of human interaction makes it impossible to resolve issues efficiently and satisfactorily. Overall, my experience with The Gym Group has been terrible. The combination of an unclear cancellation policy, erroneous charges, non-functional services, and inadequate customer support makes it the worst gym I have ever encountered. I strongly advise potential members to consider these issues before joining.

Fantastic experience: Friendly, affordable gym with a good range of equipment and accessible classes. I have done sessions with Micah who is always really encouraging, helpful and flexible with timings to work around my schedule. He’s helped build my confidence in the gym and been a great teacher in educating me about how to achieve results.

Fantastic experience: LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! The classes run by Jay (the manager), Louie (trainer), Jay (trainer) and Kins (trainer) at Tottenham Hale. The team have curated a variety of classes to help you focus on different areas of your body, tailoring the exercises to ensure they’re suitable for people of all fitness levels. The trainers are incredibly professional, friendly and always happy to help. There’s a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, which is particularly important for us novices who are new to the environment. Keep up the great work!

Fantastic experience: Started back after having a baby and the staff were and are so friendly & helpful. I dont have a person trainer but the staff are always there if you just want some advice (and actively do so) they are very approachable. I have witnessed staff adapting workouts to suit everyone’s needs which is so comforting, something that some may think is just standard but i haven't seen that in other gyms. It’s always clean and other gym members are respectful. Overall highly recommend
Fantastic experience: One of the best more widely known gyms i've been too for a long time. I used to train at a small independent gym in Nottingham where reception staff knew you by name and you really were part of a community. At The Gym in Tottenham Hale, I feel as though they try to achieve this (even still with it being a 24/7, pay as you go gym). The staff are extremely friendly and helpful as well as the members who train there too. I feel incredibly comfortable trying new routines and seeking help from staff if I ever have questions or issues. The classes are current and cater to a mixed abilities group of people, Micahs Booty Builder class deffo humbled me last time I was there. Only negative for me is that they don't hold any Pilates classes :) Overall, very happy, great price and location, exactly what I need from a gym.
Negative experience: Gym is very affordable and facilities generally fine. Sadly really appalling customer service though. I cancelled my membership and, for no clear reason, they de-activated my membership for the remainder of the period I had already paid for. I missed out on a weekend of training as customer service was closed and had to call them to re-activate during the week. Why would you de-activate members' membership upon cancellation and assume they don't want to use the remainder of the period they have already paid for? Also, they charge people a 'new joiner' fee when you want to continue being a member after your fixed term contract ends. Clearly a company that doesn't value its customers.

Positive experience: It's an ok place, the Bruce grove gym has a few more equipment. My biggest problem is people try to do circuit training. They sit on their phones for long period of time holding up the machines. Then there's the PERSONAL TRAINERS. Sitting on their phones, chatting to other people.

Negative experience: Gym was upgraded a few months ago but it look like it’s run down really bad. Some weeks ago there was water underneath the flooring looks like sewage water to me! Having people walking in it. Some of the staff are ok the other need people training skills. I rather pay more money at a different gym for better equipments. Also there’s a manager at the Tottenham Hale branch he his a bully, “his name is Jay” and come across customer like a gang bad guy. He will walk you down and come up in your face in a treating way. He needs to get sent to another branch.

Positive experience: Great gym. Just 2 key points which drop it a star. 1. It took 1 hr 20 mins from the time of paying, till i could actually enter the gym. 2. There is no kick bag, for people practicing martial arts. Only a boxing bag. If it had this, it would defo get 5 stars. This is a very important piece of equipment which is unfortunately missing. Now ill have to change to a different gym which does have a kick bag.

Negative experience: 5 the most rubbish songs playing over and over every time I come… sometimes you don’t wanna put on headphones you know… the woman whom I guess is the manager could definitely choose/update better songs in 2024 to get users motivated and inspired while working out instead wasting her time randomly picking up on me to put the weights on the rack

I do live far from this gym but I love to come with my friends or my girlfriend as everyone including staff are pretty friendly always really to assist, they mainly decent clean and they have a pretty variety of machines ñ, dumbbell or equipment for anything you may need. 100%recomended
Fantastic experience: I'm glad I joined this gym as part of my New Year's resolution. The classes are great, the booking system is simple to use and flexible, and the staff is super nice.
Positive experience: Good gym does everything right never had a problem with staff they are always nice and helpful when needed and I also notice them clearing the gym floor of weights and equipment seems to always work would be 5* but the music is too loud sometimes and they don’t have a seated row machine

Negative experience: The gym's equipment seemed like it hadn't been upgraded in years, with many machines showing signs of wear and tear. The overall cleanliness left much to be desired – dirty floors and uncleaned equipment were not what I expected. Additionally, the staff's lack of attentiveness and unhelpful attitude made the atmosphere less welcoming. Considering the high membership fee, I expected a much better experience. Overall, not a place I would recommend for anyone serious about their fitness journey.

Negative experience: Abysmal gym, the service they provide is way below par. The management isn't at all cooperative and they have caused unnecessary problems. A friend of mine was recently blocked out of the gym due to a reason she wasn't responsible for and they have also deducted money from her account for the renewal. Pls don't join this place and there are definitely better options out there!!!!!

Negative experience: One star is also too much. My friend has been locked out of the gym and her pin won’t be registered. She had an email sent to her by the gym warning her about a misconduct for something she didn’t even do. No staff is willing to help her out and they wont do anything about it. Additionally, they also charged her for the membership even AFTER she isn’t allowed to enter the gym.

Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed gym class with Micah, he is a great motivator and runs the session very enthusiastically with high energy
Fantastic experience: I was really nervous about going to the gym because I'm not really that kind of person but with the fantastic support of Micah Harris-Allen (one of the personal trainers), I'm going in regularly for personal training sessions now! It's a very clean and welcoming space with a large variety of different equipment.
Negative experience: A nightmare. During the week the times between 17 and 21 are unbearably packed for such a small gym. Other than the pull machines, there’s no double for most equipment so using a high demand one like the fly/back machine is out of question unless you want to queue for 20+ mins. If you can’t come off-peak or if you have other option don’t even bother.

Fantastic experience: I have recently joined the gym & decided to take a Circuits class with Micah. I have to say that it was absolutely fantastic. Not only is it fun & enjoyable but Micah pushes you past your limits to help you to excel. He understands your weakness & drives down into it to give you the BEST possible workout. Negative experience: I was excited to join the gym for the first time and paid for off-peak membership. On the first day, I couldn't get in the gym as it was 6pm and I thought the off-peak was until 6pm. Then the following day, I went earlier like 5:20 but I couldn't get in, so I searched the website and figured out that off-peak is 5pm. Then the following day I went at 4:05 and I again couldn't get in, I called the instructors (a man and a woman on the evening shift) they said I couldn't join the gym, I showed the screenshot that it said 5pm off-peak, they said it's from another location and showed to me the correct time which is actually 4pm. Then I apologised for my mistake and asked for a one-off for a gesture of kindness. They didn't let me in, say "no". It was so frustrating and it killed my enthusiasm of joining this gym. I was hoping for some human attitude which didn't happen. I didn't feel even welcomed (I had already explained all the stuff to the staff but nothing happened, zero reaction). Overall, the facilities are really bad, the toilets smell terrible every time I go to workout. The equipment is reasonable, but I believe what holds the clients is their experiences. My experience at this gym? As you can see, high ego from the staff, no connection between staff and clients, and the email support was really bad when I asked to push forward my billing date when this gym went closed for their update. There are many reasons that I could give less than 1 star for this gym. Today I am cancelling my membership. This gym is good for equipment but has a big lack of customer service (I work at a boutique and luxury gym and I understand the policy etc hence I got frustrated due to their service customer which I would never do the same to clients coming to the gym where I work, I believe it always depends on some circumstances).

Fantastic experience: Best trainers who are very friendly and helpful. The gym is well maintained and the staff like I said were very helpful to me when I started. Located in a lovely area of Tottenham Hale village, this is the perfect gym for students living close by and also for the local residents of Tottenham.
Fantastic experience: One of THE BEST Gyms!! AMAZING Community!! And I’ve been a member of MANY a gym. The equipment is varied, lots of great ventilation, great lighting, music shears on point and it’s super clean. The staff are FRIENDLY - definitely a family vibe and they’ll attend to issues whenever you have one. Special shout out to KINS who showed me the ropes when I started, is an amazing trainer and all round fitness guru. Couldn’t swap it for another branch talkless another gym!

The staff are friendly and helpful and the Personal Trainers are top notch. In particular, Kins O is an amazing all-round trainer with a wealth of experience and an abundance of charisma to make the ideal training buddy. Attentive and focused, he helps all his clients achieve their desired results with many laughs along the way. I highly recommend his expertise!

Negative experience: I asked Kins to turn down the excessively loud music from his gym class, which I could hear through my noise cancelling earphones, on the other side of the gym. Instead of engaging with my feedback, I got waved away and dismissed in a rude way. The fact there are many reviews about the excessive noise says it all. Think there is room to improve from the staff.

Negative experience: I would never write a bad review but what happened today was unbelievable. So I am a member of this gym and I'm very regular. So today I went to the gym exactly at 7pm and it was really busy. All the equipments were booked and there were lines for who's gonna be using the machine next. I decided to do back workouts today. So I waited 10 minutes to use the lateral pull machine. When I was waiting for it, one gym trainer who was training a lady that time came to me and asked me if I was next or not. So I said yes I'm going to use it when the other person finishes. He said he is going to use it after me. Later on when I just started using the machine he came to me and asked me how many sets do I have left. I told him 4 as I have just started. So I finished that exercise and I was increasing the weight and he literally came and stood behind me so that I finish quick. He wanted to train one lady who was obviously paying him for training her personally. So they both were standing right behind me and waiting for me to finish. It made me feel really awkward. I was also trying to take less break between sets. So then what happened is I was changing the bar in that machine and the trainer started shouting "hey hey you said you are done why didn't you tell me I would use the other machine then!!" I was so embarrassed and upset because other people around me was looking at me. This was the third time he did that in like 5 minutes. I was already having a very bad day today and he just made it worse. He just started changing the bar totally ignoring me. He just wanted his client or whatever to workout. It is absolutely unexpected. I mean I'm not going to the gym for free right? I'm also paying monthly. She made you her personal trainer and paying you extra doesn't mean you'll disrespect me and embarrass me at the gym! This is really unprofessional! Then I just took my water bottle and mobile and left the gym immediately. I don't know the name of that trainer but I would give the description of him so that people know who he is. He is tall, black, has beard and maybe wears glasses not sure. He is a trainer at that gym and I saw him many times earlier. Please train him on how to deal with and talk to people at the gym. This is basic manners. As a gym trainer he should know it. If this happens again I'm going to file a complaint externally. She paying you extra doesn't mean you'll make me stop using a gym equipment so that she can workout!!! Ridiculous!

Negative experience: Just sent you and email and I’ve sent it to the head office waiting for further information from them I’m putting a big complaint some incident happen which is I had apologising for it is a small matter about the toilet. Unfortunately the guy give me a bad attitude unbelievable we sort it out i’ve got banned for one month and then coming back to normal twice and then the manager came to me trying to explain to me. My stop doesn’t feel safe and my staff is the priorities after I’ve been telling her what is going on can you explain the matter? When the guy came in the one, I had an issue with he uses the F word again in front of his manager this is an absolutely discrimination profile. I’m putting a big complain you receive it soon and we check all the cameras this is a serious matter

Positive experience: After recent renovations the new machines and range of weights for gym users! Really enjoy the classes. Here’s a run down, plus feedback: 1. Kins runs an excellent legs bums and tums and he makes the effort in knowing your names and making an introduction. Very friendly! 2. Don’t forget Adam Aslan, always pushing you to go beyond!!! He really helped worked my core and the next day I felt it! Makes you sweat and works the whole body. Always watching - eyes at the back of his head. 3. New Jay is super energetic and delivers a different style that is impersonal and is conversational, super fun! Go to burn 400 cals! 4. Legs bums and Tums by Micah Harris is a memorable class and he is very good at teaching correct form, makes your legs/thighs burn! 5. Jays circuit is incredible, maximum burner, leaving me sweating. 6. Vijay focuses on technique and challenges you to really push. So thank you all for the support and I look forward to coming more frequently. One suggestion would be to host more classes for those who finish work around 7pm or 6am (for those starting work at 8am). Thank you, Morium

Negative experience: Title: Not Happy with Recent Changes Rating: ⭐⭐ I used to really enjoy this gym, but things have gone downhill since they closed it for renovations. We've lost a bunch of machines, and even after they reopened, many of them are still broken. The gym's new look is nice, and the staff is friendly, but there aren't enough machines available, and they don't seem to be taking good care of them. The gym is spacious, but it could definitely use more machines to make the most of the space.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this gym for years and they've recently made improvements, which is why I decided to write this review: things have genuinely improved. It feels more spacious, many machines have been replaced with newer, properly working models. My biggest gripe is with people not reracking their weights, but that's an issue everywhere, especially in the cheaper gyms. Overall for the price, this is surprisingly decent.

Negative experience: Does the job. I would rate more highly/5 stars except it is dirty and the lack of cleaning wipes is bizarre - I've never seen a UK gym that didn't have cleaning wipes to clean the equipment. As a result, all the equipment is dirty/grimey and rather gross to use. :( I was hoping the recent gym upgrade might add these in but they did not, so the equipment is still going to be grimey due to layers of sweat. If you come here, bring your own cleaning wipes.
Hi, hope you are well. Robust cleaning and sanitising regimes are still in place and we continue to pump in 100% fresh air ventilation, day and night, we clean on a daily basis, including cleaning of all equipment and gym facilities with anti-viral products. We are now going to start reducing the number of cleaning stations through the gym whilst still providing cleaning materials for those members who desire them to clean down kit. Having cleaning stations has resulted in a significant increase in the amount of paper waster and we are focussed on minimising our waste as part of our commitment to Net-Zero. We are proud to be the very first Carbon Neutral Gym Chain in the UK. This is just a part of our efforts, for example we are also taking steps to reduce the amount of single use plastics in our vending machines.
Negative experience: My biggest issue with this gym is the loud music. During a class it’s intolerable. At all other times it’s still too loud to be able to listen to your own music (even at 6am on a Sunday). The speakers are placed above the treadmill & rowing machines so there is no escaping it or drowning it out. I can’t manage more than 30mins of being subjected to someone else’s dreadful taste before I have to abandon my workout. Please just let customers listen to their own music or exercise in peace.

Negative experience: The renovation was supposed to make the place better but all it’s done is remove a lot of equipment to create space that no one asked for. Changing rooms are still horrible. This is especially bad since we had to wait for days for anyone to sort the issue of access to the alternative gyms while they renovated. There was no response from the customer service team either via email or Twitter. Membership cancelled and will travel a little further to a gym that has standards.

Negative experience: The new renovation has ruined it. Where's all the equipment gone? There's so much space and it's just bare now. It was already hard to get on the equipment you want when it's busy, now it'll be virtually impossible. A lot of cancelled memberships coming their way I would think ... what a disaster.

Negative experience: Used to love this gym and i’m disappointed in the renovation, they’ve got rid of a lot of equipment, they used to have 2 bicep curls but now only have one and everything looks bare, there was no need to get rid of a lot of the equipment. Guys are scrambling for equipment when the gym is busy. Thumbs down from me.

Negative experience: The gym was closed for 2 weeks and was not given access to another gym during that time. The customer service dont respond to the emails you send them either so there's no way to resolve issues with them. Terrible service.

Negative experience: Staff are nice, good facility, however there’s no hand soap in the male toilet for almost 1 year now. Considering it is a busy gym, I think having some basic hand soap in the toilet is required.

Negative experience: DO NOT USE THE MALE CHANGING ROOMS. Average gym very busy. Reason for the one Star is the cleaner who cleans the males changing room's is a lady. I have no idea why that is allowed. It should be illegal am sure a male cleaner in the female changing rooms isn't not allowed. Also a lot of rude personal trainers walking around trying to police your every move without actual trying to help with anything unless you're paying them. Re-edit in response to the owners reply on here. (There's always is only a female cleaner in the male changing rooms and she doesn't knock and there is no sign and she's is in there a lot. A very dishonest response from you owner!)

Fantastic experience: I've been taking PT sessions with PT Micah Harris for over a month now and I can definitely say that he is an amazing PT. Not only is he motivating, he is very understanding, supportive and absolutely pushes you to work harder and go past your limits. He focuses on your goals, provides great instructions and is extremely helpful in answering questions. As someone who is new to the gym, and needed that extra push, this was really good and helped to make me feel more confident in not only going to the gym but also knowing what workouts to do. I would definitely recommend him to anybody who is looking for a PT.

Fantastic experience: Micah session today was amazing, he is an excellent trainer and really pushes you. He makes you feel comfortable and as I first timer this made me feel welcomed.
Fantastic experience: I really enjoy doing exercise here. Different coaches and staffs have different styles, and they're all very professional, patient, friendly and enthusiastic. The environment is very clean, and there's a lot of equipment. Micah's abs course is amazing. It's really challenging but helps train our muscles effectively. I also enjoy Adem's circuits, you'll never know how wonderful it is if you don't try it. I always feel so accomplished after completing it. Vijay's legs, bums& tums classes are popular, training our muscles in a very comprehensive way. Kins' legs, bums&tums and abs courses are helpful and energetic, his corrections and adjustments help us improve and prevent injuries. Rose's abs class is really active, she motivates and pushes us to be our best. Manuel's core strength and circuits classes are also enjoyable. His attention to detail and focus on proper position is truly impressive. Kemal's legs, bums& tums course is well-structured and thoughtfully planned, ensuring that we all get a comprehensive and effective workout. Louie's abs course is great. He makes sure that we are engaging our core muscles effectively and safely. I don't mentioned all the fantastic courses here because I haven't experienced all of them yet. The variety of classes and equipment offered here is impressive - there's something for everyone, no matter what your fitness level is.
Negative experience: This used to be an amazing, value for money gym, but as of recently, it’s become a no value gym. Out of 20 or so treadmills, 10 are constantly out of service, 5 fail to reach the desired speed, and the remaining five are always taken. Same goes for the elliptical machines. The weight area is also barely accessible, as the weird positioning of some machines has closed off any passage to it. Last, but not least, the weight section used to be regularly cleaned up and the weights replaced by the staff, but now it’s impossible to find any dumbbells in the right place, as they’re constantly scattered. Hopefully someone reads this feedback and takes some action, especially since the surrounding area is getting so densely populated with all the high-rises coming up.

Fantastic experience: It is convenient and although it can get busy at times it is a well equipped gym. PT Rose is friendly and pushes me to do better during my PT sessions which is nice. I feel my body feeling stronger and I look forward to keep working with her on this journey.
