Negative experience: I would like to rejoin the gym as it was a pleasant place and I loved the classes however I also have had a bad experience with one of the PT. I confronted him however as a result he was making me feel very uncomfortable there, staring and being intimidating so I gave up on the gym. Once he is gone I will be back however in a meantime I am looking for different gym.

Positive experience: Not always busy... frequent equipment failures convienat but toilets are generally not well maintained.

Regular maintenance checks are undertaken, and any issues identified are escalated to engineers straight away. Sometimes, there may be a small wait whilst engineers attend to fix any issues, but we endeavour to resolve these as soon as possible. Negative experience: WiFi is unbelievably bad,not enough machines, AC hasn't been set up properly it's ether super cold or hot,many times overcrowded, many good trainers leave which leave you very disappointed.
Hi MR. Thank you for taking the time to leave us this review. We have recently made slight changes to this area, looking at improving energy efficiency. This is both to control our energy usage, but also with a look to reduce our carbon footprint. By law, we have a requirement to provide a certain amount of fresh air based on occupancy levels, and our ventilation system increases and decreases at different times throughout the day and night, making sure we meet these requirements and provide good air movement around the gyms. These levels are based on size of the gym, and occupancy levels, and are regularly monitored. All member feedback is reviewed, and brought to the attention of our Facilities team, who regularly review any changes we make to our gym facilities and all feedback is taken into account when making any future changes. Negative experience: The gym itself is a good gym with plenty of equipment, can't fault it there! The reason behind my poor rating is because of an awful experience with one of their PTs (Adhinio Bailey Browne) I paid for sessions in advance, and on a number of occasions he would cancel shortly before the session, or not show up at the time we had arranged. When I finally had my first session, despite it being a paid for private session, it was cut to from 45mins to 30 mins, and it was very clear Bailey was still on his Puregym time because he kept on disappearing throughout. After this, there were more cancellations, ignored messages, broken promises around giving me a plan which is what I wanted in first place anyway. After all this disappointment and waste of time I requested my money back, at which point he became very argumentative and even more unprofessional. We had met and discussed this in person, and he did admit he's been unprofessional and apologised, and told me when I'd receive all my money. However, this was all just broken promises and I'm still chasing my money almost 2 months after the whole experience with him. I've never experienced anyone this unprofessional and unreliable before, and to be honest it has made my whole experience with this gym a bit sour. After a huge waste of time and money, I'd advise people to not pay in advance and find some sort of pay as you go structure when considering a PT. Hope this is helpful and happy to discuss further!

Fantastic experience: I'm very happy with PureGym and how its self-service model works 24/7. There are enough free weights areas and barbell for the kind of training I enjoy. The PureGym app is reliable, opens the doors, offers a lot of training instructions and shows how busy the gym is.
Positive experience: Felt a little out of my depth as a first timer to a gym, without a buddy there to tell me what i should be doing i wouldn't have felt confident enough to try the machines. Going at night 20:30-23:00 was a good time as it wasn't busy but it wasn't empty. Music was a bit loud but i suppose that's by design Considering going again, but not sure about a solo visit just yet

Negative experience: I wanted to take a moment to share my feedback regarding PureGym Rushden. Firstly, I must commend the overall atmosphere of the gym, which I find lovely, and the friendly demeanor of the staff and members alike. The range of services and courses provided is commendable, and I've generally had positive experiences during my time at the gym and still do. However, I would like to address an issue I encountered with the personal training services. Despite paying in advance for PT sessions, I experienced multiple cancellations within an hour before the sessions, which significantly disrupted my schedule and caused inconvenience. This not only wasted my time but also resulted in financial loss due to the upfront payment and still not having the sessions despite it has been paid for it. Unfortunately, this lack of reliability and professionalism regarding PT sessions has left me feeling very disappointed. As a suggestion, I would advise against paying in advance for personal training sessions. I appreciate your time reading this and hope that my feedback is helpful. Thank you.

Negative experience: Bought day pass at 7:30pm and didn’t received email with entry PIN by 9:30pm!! I’ve press assistance button but no help at all and no staff to help! Just stud outside and waiting for PIN so I can exercise! Absolutely joke !

Negative experience: Reported to the manager that 2 of the rowing machines were broken at the weekend and when I returned the next Tuesday both machines still broken and clearly untouched (no sign etc). When I reported it he seemed disinterested so wasn't surprised really.

Positive experience: Love the gym, Management of the gym you can see the staff take pride in maintaining it compared to others I have been to, but will see how long it lasts. The only downside is the showers are not that hot and sometimes come through cool, as it seems like they turned down the temp... probably to reduce costs with the energy prices increasing. Sometimes the changing room floors aren't very clean either. And finally, since changing from CMK to Weston Favell gym but with having multi gym access, I was made to pay an extra £2 on top. And from moving to Weston to Rushden, Pure Gym charged me more money on top of that but with the same multi gym level access, so I'm now paying over £30... don't get me wrong, it's a cheaper commercial gym compared to others with what they charge, but just seems a bit off, just because Rushden is new, but still a small gym in its location and can be a struggle to get on some equipment. I've been going to Pure Gym for a long time now, would be good to get some sort of loyalty rewards or something.

Positive experience: It's what you expect from a 24hr gym.Needs more plate loading machines that are ergonomic to the body and also needs cleaning facilities.But apart from that it allows you to train all body parts

Fantastic experience: Really well equipped gym, friendly staff, and great value! Edit: One of the staff members, Joe, is very rude. He was rude to me a few days ago which I wrote off to a bad day but he was also rude to my partner today. A shame as the rest of the team are great. Still an awesome gym but I’ll raise this with the manager directly.

Fantastic experience: Good experience. Haven't been in a gym for a while, was a bit nervous about my first visit. Lots of equipment, a lot of space. All new, nice and clean. Would be great if staff would pay more attention to visitors, as I saw not very confident and a bit confused people walking around, also help with equipment would be nice. But it's just my opinion, maybe Pure gym is not for beginners. Price is great, location is fine. It's shared parking with Waitrose, that worries me a bit, as during the weekend it may get very busy.
