Positive experience: We played badminton using 2 courts in the bigger hall which was well equipped. Staff friendly and helpful. Changing room clean. Good amount of parking.

Negative experience: WORST! WORST! Such a hell booking with them. Booking was made 6 days ahead (booked done on Monday for a Sunday) and they didn’t even bother notifying us that they have to cancel it due to renovations done in the premise, neither thru phone call nor email not even hours before the booked time which was 2pm. Some of us have travelled from Cambridge and Bury St Edmunds. When asked, they even said that construction has been ongoing for a week and a half already, but booking and money has been accepted anyway. Mikhaela, the staff present, was very unhelpful, rude and didn’t have slightest sense of consideration being after all it is their fault. Her defense was they couldn’t do the cancellation and only the boss could do it (in which by the way who lives is bases in Manchester) and it should’ve been done this morning. Well yes Mikhaela obviously everyone arrived so it wasn’t done. But no matter how many times we ring this “boss” didn’t have the decency to answer or at least ring the staff to explain. Another excuse she made, “we couldn’t retrieve the equipments as the cupboard was blocked with construction stuff”. We offered to help love but she is adamant that they couldn’t do that. When we asked for refund they said it will not happen after 3-5 days. So obviously, no cancellation was done since the booking was made as what they have claimed. Also, she was asking us to leave the premise, whilst we are still trying to find for another place to go to, or otherwise she said she will the police. Fifteen minutes after 2pm (booked time)only then they cancelled and appeared in their online booking system after all the arguments. Stupid! Really stupid! Felt like because we were of different race we were treated like that or maybe just the management in general which sucked. YOU WASTED OUR TIME AND MONEY!

Positive experience: Came here tonight to play squash. Easy enough to book and the courts are ok. Could do with a little TLC and the hearing needs to be turned off!! Can't comment in anything else there but gym looked good, badmin5area looks good.

Fantastic experience: Been using the facilities for years. Friendly staff, loads of parking. Be a real shame when it closes as a sports centre later this year

Positive experience: It’s in a school premises , I use only the gym , it’s a small place with all the equipment, good friendly instructor . You can also use their track and field , and also indoor courts. Lots of activities happen.

Positive experience: We had a rollerskating party there. I found the idea very appropiate for girls and boys. The booking process was quite easy. I didnt appreciate though that 20 minutes before the party they were still cleaning and arranging things which didn't gave us too much time to put the few decorations and 10 min before, when guests started to come, we were not ready to welcome them. Then, the inconvenient is that you need to think about EVERY LITTLE DETAIL for the table and the communication before the party on this regard was very little. Also, the machines outside didn't function that day, so we couldn't serve the parents with a coffee or drink and the lady at the reception was unable to help on that. Staff not very much present during the party. One assistant that leaves the room while eating... Was quite consuming for the parents

Positive experience: A sports centre with large halls for hire, tennis, badminton, squash and many other sports to play here. There's also a gym workout centre with free weights and cardio machines. Reasonable prices on a pay per visit, but for best value membership is recommended. I play Badminton here regularly.
