Fantastic experience: Great gym, great equipment, great staff. Renovation has been a great success. Can be busy at peak times which is expected of a gym, but never overly busy so that you can get on any equipment. Definitely recommend :)

Negative experience: PLEASE READ BEFORE GETTING A MEMBERSHIP I’ve reviewed this gym many a times before trying to warn people. Roefield is the worst gym in Clitheroe, without a doubt. The machines are all bad, even after the “makeover” last summer, that promised new equipment, but only seemed to remove equipment, or replace it with a slightly newer model. The gym is always full, with it taking up to an hour to get on a machine. If you are serious about your goals, whether it be bodybuilding, weight loss or whatever else, there are so many better options - Harris Fitness and Absolute fitness are both incredible. If you don’t mind the busyness, then by all means you can get a membership that is far too highly priced based on the mediocre equipment provided. But if you are serious, YOU WILL REGRET THIS.

Fantastic experience: Modern equipment , plenty of motivational support , great team , special mention to the let’s live life team , we set a goal , we together completed a great fun program and this is then monitored over a 12 week window .. excellent and so far positive steps .. thanks helping me back to fitness ..

Negative experience: Good machines, but no juniors in the mini gym is an unnecessary rule, seeing that they used to be allowed. Moderately busy also.

Fantastic experience: Fair play - I’ve never been a member at a gym where they try so consistently hard to improve. It’s got plenty of classes for kids, and it’s good value for the adults with plenty of variety in classes on offer. The gym is pretty well equipped and the staff are helpful and the other members are friendly and always up for a chat.

Positive experience: No parking unless you use the P&D over the road. Facilities are nice though, staff were pleasant too

Positive experience: Some of the staff interact with you others don't. You Don't often see staff in the gym offering tips, advice , encouragement etc.

Negative experience: This review is regarding the climbing wall and staff, the wall itself is tiny but cheap entrance makes up for this fact. The routes that are there are OK but have not been reset since January 2016!!! A whole year of the same routes is insane! When I questioned the staff about this o was told to email the centre manager which I have done 4 times without even an acknowledgement! If I was emailing a simple complaint I'd kind of understand and just think they don't care about customer feedback but I was offering to reset the wall... FOR FREE!!! Can't believe that a kind offer to support a local business has gone not only unaccepted but ignored is pretty disgraceful in my eyes. Disapointed.

Fantastic experience: Been a member for 21 years. Great personal service, PT sessions, classes and swimming included in the monthly package. On site sauna and steam, subsidised parking. What more could you need? Terrific value for money.

Negative experience: WARNING. ....when you join the 4 for £15...be warned in we 3 when you cancel as instructed by the staff.for good or to rejoin after week 4 You get bully tactics from the direct debit company HARLANDS. ..Google this company before you think of joining

Fantastic experience: This is a well equipped facility with tennis courts, swimming pool, and gym plus other activities. Set in a great location on the outskirts of Clitheroe by the River Ribble.
