Fantastic experience: As a Barnet resident and long-time Barnet FC supporter, I had a fantastic experience attending the Barnet FC vs Woking match at The Hive London. I went with my Dutch friend, and we were both thoroughly impressed. The Hive London is a modern, well-designed stadium that adds so much to the matchday atmosphere. The vibe was phenomenal, with fans cheering passionately and creating an electric energy throughout the game. Practicality is also a big plus! Parking was incredibly convenient, with a fee of just £8 and the first 20 minutes free, which makes it easy to get in and out. You can even pay online, and it’s all hassle-free—check out the photo I’ve shared for details. Overall, it was an amazing day out at a stadium that makes supporting Barnet FC even more enjoyable. Highly recommend catching a match if you’re in the area!

Fantastic experience: We had a wedding function. Ample parking and was free for the guests. Good security and hall could easaccomodate around 300 guests. The place was very clean and well managed. Staff were very helpful and polite.

Positive experience: A great sports place and gem in middle of residential area.. Had been there to attend a sangeet function. Parking availability with reasonable charges and if you have a function then provision of registering your car to attend function so no cost to one. The suite was good and staff were friendly too.

Fantastic experience: Great place for events like birthday party, wedding, bar mitzvah, funeral etc. Hive has several venues which can fit as need. Very nice newly done football ground and plenty other grounds for booking the pitch. Starbucks on site as well as bar and open till late which not many people knows about it. Great place to have a fun, walk and enjoy football.

Positive experience: I've been to The Hive on a few occasions. My most recent visit was on Thursday 1st August for a funeral reception, and l'm disappointed to note that there are still no mirrors in the ladies toilet. Not impressed. That's the only thing that lets this venue down. Here's hoping this issue will be rectified sooner rather than later!!

Fantastic experience: My friend's son had his Mehndi party here. This place has a DJ and a dance floor. I enjoyed the vegetarian food but I think that was separate catering service. Everyone enjoyed themselves, lovely atmosphere.

Positive experience: Went to the Hive London for a wedding and wedding reception. This was a lovely venue with plenty of onside parking. The toilets were clean. The only thing I would say is that people who sat at the side of the windows were cold, apart had a great time and the events went well.

Fantastic experience: I was attending a friend funeral nine night celebration. There was football match going on. The hall was large and spacious parking facilities was available. It's my third visit and it's a lovely place to hold a function and one can see foot ball practice going on, nice place.

Fantastic experience: Modern but sleek. The Hive Bar is worth a visit, a good ground which for London is relatively accessible to drive to!

Negative experience: I would like to say, they have ruined our day. The security and the manager of the venue on that night made it impossible to enjoy. They clearly don’t understand everyone’s culture when it comes to weddings. They are probably specialist in one or maybe two cultures that they are familiar with because of where they are from. Made our wedding limited, shouted at the groom and his bride during their walkout!!! Unprofessional in every way!!! We paid for the parking yet were limited to using it. Kept telling us to bring the music volume down. Kept telling us to shut the doors. It was hectic, it was our last wedding of our family and they made it the worst. And on top of all that they didn’t want to give us back the deposit even though we gave them the hall back the way they gave us. SCAMMERS!

Positive experience: Decent modern non league stadium. Good car parking though the catering for away fans could do with a bit more choice and capacity to avoid long queues.

Negative experience: I highly recommend that nobody books at this corrupted banqueting hall. I had my wedding here and i wish i could go back and Don't spend money here, they are thieves and overpromise without any action. The manager Efe or whatever her name is, is aggressive and violent she shouted at me and my newly husband to leave aggressively in the middle of our photoshoot in the hall at our wedding i have had the worst wedding ever because of their actions. Be careful of this place, book elsewhere.

Negative experience: If I could give a 0 star I would.. I had my wedding at this banqueting hall, I highly recommend everyone to watch out from this company, they steal and clearly l*aunder money too.. they ask to pay in cash only so there is no record of it, they also f*orge your signatures on paperwork that can put you in serious problems and make you lose your money in deposit. They damage their own property and blame you for it. Be careful of their manager Effie, if you do book, try and stand a few meters away from her as she assaults on the go. She can come across as a nice lady, but truly she is very r*cist and aggressive, she even made many comments that has hurt a lot of my guests. Also be very wary that the manager is bipolar and can be very deceiving. "Uncontrollable" I hope this message is received by everyone before they book. Negative experience: I came in without a booking for the venue, however I didn’t know, as I heard you can go without booking, I came in and they were very rude because I didn’t come without a booking, and they refused to tell me how to contact regarding the booking of the venue, and he was extremely rude, for this matter I will not think about even booking with them as they are so unprofessional, and didn’t have any communication skills.

Positive experience: The area that we hired was clean and spacious. It served the purpose of our requirements. Drinks wete priced reasonably. The only niggle was when we tried to enter the parking area there seemed to be confusion with staff otherwise there were no other issues.

Positive experience: I've been here both during a match day and not on a match day and it was good . On a match day it's the standard football ground but away from a match day it's great to see how a club works

Negative experience: Modern cashless stadium with useless staff that are utter clueless imbecile £22 pound for ticket that would not scan at either turnstiles unexpectedly utter disgrace

Fantastic experience: A great venue for soccerball

Fantastic experience: Went here for a cup game, 16 year olds, supporting Ware and was really impressed by this Stadium. Natural grass, great floodlighting and we won 3-2 which made the whole experience really memorable. Parking was very easy, it's local to me near Edgware and the bar was well run and comfortable. I wish all of their games were held here tbh.

Negative experience: Decent ground, but they seem to have the ref in their pocket. Absolutely disgraceful refereeing at today's game. There should be an enquiry.

Fantastic experience: Super venue, good size for weddings & lot of carparking space. I conducted Hindu Wedding ceremony at this well organised venue.

Fantastic experience: It is a good and nice place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. They have a clean bar and you can drink and watch sports.

Negative experience: We used the 5 a side facility. There is no free parking so you either pay £3 parking fee or park on the main road and walk about 10 minutes. The pitches are brand new and are 5th generation astro turf. They have nets above the pitches so the ball never goes out. The grip is not perfect and several of us slipped many times in the rain. The staff and management are very friendly, polite and helpful. The facilities are great. I believe it will improve over time.

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank all of the staff and caterers for their help making our engagement party a huge success. M On the night everything was prepared as agreed and there were no problems. All our guests had a great night with special thanks to DJ Amit also. We plan to hold our wedding reception at the same venue in 2024 and hope this to also be a night to remember. Many Thanks

Positive experience: We booked the Hive amber suite and lounge for our hindu wedding and reception. We visited the venue about 3 times and each and every time there was a new person we would be introduced to, when questioning one of the event staff she was abrupt and rude and I mentioned actually its because you have a high staff turnover that I am unable to trust anything anymore. it got worse as the days went on as the event manager who she calls herself was not helpful and clearly did not read any of my instructions on the request form which is what they ask to complete. This was one of the hardest venues to work with. I ended up organising a event coordinator of my own as I simply did not trust the event manager at all. I would not host a event here again as it is overly pricey for a room, tables and chairs and nothing else. From the time i booked and put down a deposit I had a bad feelings and knew i regretted my decision but by that point it was too late.

Positive experience: Expensive national league football club. Expensive parking. Away fans bar tills stopped working and would only accept exact cash. Take your own stuff to eat. No signage to tell you where to go to buy tickets. Could do better.

Fantastic experience: My Mother Wake was held at The Hive Venue Amber Lounge 4th August 2023. Even though it was a sad occasion I can honestly admit the staff were fantastic, the actual planning and support on the day of the event was excellent. We did not have worry about anything. Spacious, clean great location. Great value for money and package was well worth it. Thank you to Effie and her team.

Positive experience: Although the event I attended was beautiful. The venue itself is definitely not top tier. During an event in the evening the alarm was blaring for no reason which went on for quite a while. The lift was broken and so quite a few elderly persons were not able to come in and out of the venue as they pleased.

Fantastic experience: I come down here with my mates and play every Tuesday! The staff are professional and the pitch is well looked after to play a good game of football. What’s also amazing is the fact that Barnet FC is right next to it and when the fans come to cheer on their team the atmosphere feels like you are playing in the stadium with the spot light on you.

Negative experience: The hive is so unorganised! Alex never answers his phone. No one knows who needs to do what.. told us we can be at the venue at a certain time and when we arrived the gates were closed and no one allowed us inside for 40 minutes. Then after being late, no one even helped or directed us there. Talk about stress

Negative experience: The reasons I gave this 0 star is because when my son came from football and got in the car we headed out everything was normal until we came to barrier and it normally reads the plate and opens it but it nevers opens when the people who work there come they always ask if I payed or it is because the plate is 3D and this occurs alot

Negative experience: Tried to reach the London Bees on all social media sites but did not get a single response for weeks. Called the number on the website which leads you back to the Hive stadium. This where you meet some of the rudest staff I have ever encountered in England. Very abrasive , sarcastic with 0 customer service.

Negative experience: Appalling place to hire for a party. They insist on searching your guests, filming your guests including children (and keeping footage for their own purposes) and impose all kind if extra charges

Fantastic experience: Great space for a party. Had son’s Bar Mitzvah there and was easy from start to finish. Local, loads of parking, stunning room and good value for money. Alex at the venue couldn’t have been more helpful

Negative experience: I can only describe this venue as a dive. It’s a dilapidated sham of a high class venue. A funeral reception was held here and all I can say is never again. It started on the morning of the function with a flood in the function room I had booked. Then I selected another function room and that had a flood behind the bar. My outside catering company saved the day by working under very difficult circumstances with wet slippery floors everywhere they had to walk. The kitchen areas were filthy with grease and broken appliances everywhere. On a previous visit I pointed out a fridge that when my caterers opened found switched off and full of mould. Why was this still on site in an area my caterers were going to use. Tea and coffee was supposed to be available for the funeral guests on arrival. Guess what the hot water urns didn’t work. The bar area had drinks coolers but without any lights so once you put anything in them and they started to frost up it was hard to see what was in there. One of the drinks fridges actually packed up after we had put our drinks in it. Toilets below par in terms of cleanliness and floors so worn that the paint used to cover them worn in patches creating a most unattractive mosaic. Plug sockets that didn’t work. The list could go on and on. To say I was unimpressed by the overall state of this facility is an understatement. There has clearly been a lack of general maintenance and I’ve wondered if it’s actually got a current safety certificate. My advice to this amber lounge events team is to stop taking bookings and get your house in order. The directors need to take charge of this situation as it’s not acceptable.

Negative experience: Good football ground but the parking charge is far far too high. I paid 4× as much to park as I did to get into the game(I am a senior) ridiculous

Positive experience: Being disabled I appreciate being able to park close to entrance,although no concession and parking charge is £8. View from stands are good Catering is mixed quality . Starbucks is very popular ,good they show games on TVs. Nice Ground overall.

Fantastic experience: Attended a National League game. I was impressed by the excellent parking and facilities. The refreshment bar was understaffed and there were no chips but the burger was very good. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.

Fantastic experience: This is very beautiful football groud with huge parking space in it and they also have 2-3 lounge areas which they give on rent for special parties and ceremonies celebration. Moreover they have on cafeteria and gym for members.

Negative experience: The air con don't work. Lift doesn't work. The management gives you last minute problems. There is no organisation from their team. They lack communication and make empty promise. The security was also drinking through out whole event. I would never recommend this venue.

Negative experience: This venue was an absolute nightmare. I had my wedding reception there and the organisation on their part was really bad. They promised my everything when I first went to see the venue but as time went on they kept asking me for extra charges even though I opted for the whole package. I was told quite a few things last minute which I had to separately organise myself. The security was a joke and they were drinking on duty plus the lifts and the A/C was not functional aswell. I would absolutely not recommend this to as it would ruin your special day.

Negative experience: I really was shocked at the professionalism of the The Hive soccer school.. ive always thought anything associated with Barnet would be run in a professional manner... where ALL the kids came 1st... I paid for our 9am session online the coach turns up 45 minutes late then does a register another 10 minutes gone.. but the other coach who was there pre 9am just takes his 5 kids and starts his session with them leaving the 12 other kids to just play amongst themselves. I was so disappointed... he should of done a session involving all of them until his colleague arrived. Definitely not a good example of children 1st by the hive. I was also told I shouldn't be on the pitch (by the coach that turned up 45 late) even though the only reason I came on the pitch was to ask why isn't my child being coached. A very stressful morning and I will not be recommending these to other parents.

Fantastic experience: A very lovely venue with ample parking. The Amber suite is very nice and spacious. Washrooms are clean, tidy and fresh feeling. A pleasure to enjoy any function.

Fantastic experience: Amazing ground, amazing atmosphere, amazing club. Just need to re-sign John Akinde to play on the carpet, not too far from Wembley for when Barnet reach the FA Trophy Final next year.
