Positive experience: Overall this is a great leisure facility. So far I've only used the pool, so I can't comment on the other facilities. The pool and changing areas are generally very clean and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I've dropped a star because there are little things that could do with being updated, such as the locker key straps. But apart from that I can thoroughly recommend this facility.

Fantastic experience: Lovely 45 minutes of Aquafit. Clean pool, great trainer and good social interaction with others.

Fantastic experience: Spin class was excellent - part of my recovery program and it went well Instructor Jamie was brilliant and well aware of any limitations I had, loads of encouragement and praise as well as pushing me at various points. Well worth it.

Negative experience: The gym is way too small, needs an extension or more up to date equipment one bench with no rack, one of each leg machine, tbh the only good thing is the cable machine, and to be honest only letting 16+ in without an adult is a joke whos going to get injured in that gym improve the facility or it's likely you will start losing customers, if there's more than 6 people in the gym it feels like there's no room to move about in

Fantastic experience: Went for info about swimming and the staff was very friendly I spoke with 2 of them.. nice experience I saw the swimming pool and the Jim and all around I noticed very clean environment

Positive experience: Frequently closed for private events during public swimming session times. No mention anywhere until you get to the front desk, which is great for familys. Best to call ahead to save a wasted journey. Also family fun sessions, last visit we where told by 1 lifeguard we couldnt put slide out for kids as "nah, it's not been out for a while", except it was out last week. Asked the next lifeguard and it wasn't a problem. More bubbles would be fun for the kids too. Very inconsistent. Perhaps more training is required about standards and routines.

Fantastic experience: We held our wee boys birthday party here yesterday. What a great time everyone had. A special thank you to the most helpful staff who organised everything so well They made it very easy to host over 20 kids! Thank you Loch Leven would recommend a swim party here to everyone

Fantastic experience: Just visiting - but had to say what a great place to play squash. The courts are really excellent: bright and playing beautifully with great well-maintained floors. Nicely organized and presented members' leagues. 'Free play for November' is a great idea.

Fantastic experience: We play squash here every week and the staff are very friendly and the pricing is good.

Positive experience: Very small gym, lacking some basics like a mirrors, kettle bells and heavy weights. However, the equipment is modern and the building was probably constructed before gyms became so popular. Showers & changing facilities are mixed and shared with the pool, so your not getting a shower after the gym unless you bring your swim clothing. Good pool and excellent staff. Plenty classes for all ages, my toddler has enjoyed and benefited from the swimming lessons.

Fantastic experience: Pool is ok but could do with a big clean - staff always excellent polite and helpful hot showers and warmish changing rooms that are a mixed area ... £1 or trolley coin to operate the changing lockers hairdryer but no costume spin dryer or bags to take washing home .. overall a good local facility including gym and cafe area with costumes and goggles etc on sale at reception .

Positive experience: Yes this a good pool with toys and floats for the kids, however the council have sub let the cafe and seating area to a third party and we were not allowed to eat our packed lunch after our swim, disappointing for a local authority run swimming pool

Fantastic experience: Excellent swimming pool and gym, though the gym is quite small. I was referred there as part of an NHS rehabilitation scheme, and the staff were excellent. They created a program of exercises and then monitored my progress. They also do a number of classes, and your membership allows you to use the facilities at other Live Active gyms within Perth and Kinross. There is a small car park with 2 disabled parking spaces.

Negative experience: Staying at a local hotel and needed a gym to train at, So far as I've travelled around Scotland all local gyms have been very welcoming and managed to accommodate my need for a one off training day, This one on the other hand told me I needed an "INDUCTION" LOL, An induction which they could do 2 days later, An induction for a 39 year old man who has been training since the age of 15 and has several qualifications in health and fitness.What gyms still do inductions lol. Seriously get with the times.

Negative experience: Not impressed with the block swimming lessons for kids in week 1 of October holidays. The instructor ignored my child and focused on the more competent ones. I had to complain and withdraw child as instructor awful at relating to kids.

Fantastic experience: Good facilities and excellent value for money with a monthly membership. Gym has modern cardio equipment but much older and dated resistance weight machines unfortunately. It's also tiny so best to go at quieter times. Pool timetable seems to change randomly so best to check online before you go.

Positive experience: Pool was cold okay for adults but too cold for a baby. Staff were very helpful. Changing rooms clean and plenty lockers.
