- Great location for events: The center hosts events such as the Trafford 10k race, providing a spacious and accommodating environment.
Feedback, however, has indicated some areas needing improvement:
- Cleanliness and maintenance: Some users noted that the overall cleanliness could be enhanced, particularly in shared spaces and changing rooms.
- Facility upgrades: There is a desire for newer equipment and an expansion of amenities to improve the fitness experience.
- Scheduling flexibility: Limited access during peak times may hinder the experience for some visitors.

Partington Sports Village: Opinions
Fantastic experience: Good footy pitches
Fantastic experience: Quality set up
Fantastic experience: Aquarobics is great. Friendly staff.
Positive experience: The swimming pool is great ..pay on the door....no apps of faffing around.
Fantastic experience: Visiting to support fellow club runners partaking in the Trafford 10k (March '24). A good spacious location for this event offering a flat fast route bringing in PB hunters from far and wide.
Positive experience: Visited today as the lil man was playing there. Overall a scent facility.... The 3g pitch we played was decent quality. Plenty of parking on site..just on the left as you drive in or follow the road up and around to the right..with the tennis courts being used for overflow..! Staff are super friendly which we really appreciated ...! Keep up the good work guys..! I was directed to use the disabled toilet.. Not sure if others are available to use.... but it was decent enough..! Ping pong table to use in which I'm assuming is the family room..nice place to wait away from of the cold...!
Fantastic experience: We paly football here on the 3G Astro turf. Very good facilities here too- swimming pool and basketball/badminton indoor halls
Fantastic experience: Great place for Morris Dancing competitions and free swimming
Fantastic experience: This is a great set-up. Lots of parking and a really nice changing area. The staff are super friendly and willing to assist when needed. The actual 3G pitch is probably one of the best I have played on. Well marked out and still feeling like new. Overall I would definitely recommend this facility.
Positive experience: Partington Sports Village is a sports and fitness facility that offers a mixed experience, earning it a three-star rating. While it provides some commendable features and amenities, there are areas where improvements could be made to enhance the overall experience. One of the notable positives of Partington Sports Village is its range of sporting facilities. The center offers various sporting activities, including football, tennis, and basketball, providing opportunities for individuals and teams to engage in their favorite sports. The availability of multiple fields and courts allows for flexibility and accommodates different interests. Additionally, the staff at Partington Sports Village are generally friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere for visitors. They are often available to provide assistance and ensure that the facilities are well-maintained. This dedication to upkeep is appreciated and contributes to a more enjoyable experience. However, there are a few areas where improvements could enhance the overall quality of the facility. One aspect that falls short is the cleanliness and maintenance of the premises. On occasions, cleanliness standards might not meet expectations, and some areas may require more attention and regular upkeep. Ensuring consistent cleanliness would greatly improve the overall ambiance and user experience. Another area for improvement is the availability and quality of amenities. Partington Sports Village could benefit from expanding its range of amenities, such as adding additional workout equipment or upgrading existing facilities. Investing in newer and more diverse equipment would enhance the fitness experience for members and visitors alike. Furthermore, the scheduling and availability of certain facilities can be restrictive. Limited time slots and crowded periods can make it challenging to access preferred activities or book sessions. Improving scheduling systems and allowing for more flexibility would alleviate this issue and create a smoother experience for users. In terms of overall value for money, the pricing structure at Partington Sports Village may require some reevaluation. While the fees are reasonable, considering the available facilities and services, ensuring that the cost aligns with the quality of the experience would add to the value proposition for members. In summary, Partington Sports Village offers a range of sporting activities and generally maintains a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. However, improvements in cleanliness, the availability of amenities, scheduling flexibility, and pricing structure could elevate the facility's appeal and overall experience. With further attention to these areas, Partington Sports Village has the potential to provide an enhanced sports and fitness environment for its members.
Fantastic experience: 5 a side every Thursday perfect AstroTurf
Fantastic experience: First time visiting with my 7 year old and 5 month baby. Pool was smaller than expected but it was warm and the staff were so friendly I wouldn't definitely return for that reason alone. Excellent visit
Fantastic experience: Cool staff
Fantastic experience: Cracking pitch for football and the indoor facilities are great run by well organized staff
Fantastic experience: Staff are helpful and friendly. The building is clean and the gym has the equipment I need for my workouts. It's getting a massive upgrade soon and I can't wait.
Fantastic experience: Great football pitch
Positive experience: Great astroturf not a great pool though
Fantastic experience: Staff extremely helpful on phone and in reception
Positive experience: Great place for swimming and other sports activities. Water is clean, and staffs are always friendly and helpful.
Fantastic experience: Great facilities
Positive experience: The staff are so friendly, always have a great experience. Wish the gym was open earlier and wasn't closed off to kids during some hours considering it costs double what PureGym does and has really old equipment. They need to get a cable machine, if the staff weren't so friendly it would be a 3 because of the equipment and price.
Fantastic experience: I took my 3.5 year old daughter here and the staff are amazing each and every one of them went above and beyond our little girl is only just staring go like water but the armbands we bought for her where popes upon opening them so we had nothing with us to keep her afloat but they had us covered and allowed her to use a vest and pool noodle even went as far as using the ladders to enter the pool on her own using only the floating vest to keep her up she loved it and didn’t want to leave thank you to all the wonderful staff see you again soon
Fantastic experience: Hired the pool for an hour for the scout's to splash about. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Would recommend it to anyone.
Fantastic experience: Went swimming with son and the staff were really friendly helpful, 100% visiting again!
Fantastic experience: Lovely staff clean building a great day out for the family xx
Fantastic experience: Great staff and facilities
Fantastic experience: Underated sports facility!clean great parking wheelchair access and staff always very helpful! Arrived for a match with ours on and after an ankle operation I was struggling to walk.with sticks to pitch side one of the male staff opened the gate on the side and allowed us to park on corner which was brilliant of him !Great facility and always enjoy going their!
Positive experience: With plenty of activities on offer , the Sports Village at Partington has much to offer! The access and signage towl the WC needs improvement however.
Negative experience: Pitch floodlights fail on a regular basis
Fantastic experience: In this place, there is a gym, swimming pool, halls to hire for parties and football training from age 4
Positive experience: Thursday Night Aqua aerobics class. The pool was a nice temperature and Katie the instructor was good at keeping up the momentum. This was a bootcamp session and after 45 minutes I was feeling I'd had a good workout. Tired and hungry.
Positive experience: Not bad - check your sat nav when going there - it can take you all down the back lanes.
Fantastic experience: Fab. Staff brilliant. Pool clean! Great swim.
Fantastic experience: We where at the pool and it was great. Plenty of space. We booked our tickets online, and it is very easy and transparent showing how many people can still book/ come so obviously social distancing was in place
Negative experience: First time coming here. We had booked a badminton court for 2 hours. The net was very low. We tried adjusting and retying it but nothing worked and we realised they had run out of proper badminton net posts and had used shorter ones. The floor was unbelievably slippy. It was as if it had been greased before we arrived. For the last 30 mins we moved to a court that some other customers kindly allowed us to use and it was completely fine, not sure why only ours was so awful. The only redeeming factor was the friendly staff.
Fantastic experience: great place to play sports
Positive experience: Sports centre with a great football pitch.
Fantastic experience: Great facilities and friendly staff
Fantastic experience: Nice leisure centre, I went there to take cycling class from Manchester transport.
Positive experience: We only go here for swimming, so haven't had a chance to use any of the other amenities here. The pool area is fairly clean and the changing facilities are ok, compared to other leisure centres in Trafford this is pretty good. The outdoor areas look good and it's all clean and tidy. The car park to the side of the pool is dark at night and overgrown and could do with a little TLC.
Positive experience: Great facilities never to busy
Positive experience: A bit run down, lighting poor, courts sometimes not set up, changing room often locked, sport hall ceiling quite low.
Fantastic experience: Lovely local gym and sports hall, it's very quiet most times and because of this is closed during the weekday mornings. It would be great to see it being used more by the local people of Partington. Craig and Jordan do a sterling job and are always on hand to help.
Negative experience: A fairly run down local pool. The temperature of the water was nice and warm so good for babies and small children, but apart from that it's mediocre: a rectangular pool with bad lighting and out of date, well, everything. Ancient changing rooms, no play area for kids: just a pool, in a room, with a few floats to play with. Maybe that's all you want and if so that's fine, but we'd like to see the council spend some money on improving this pool for residents.
Negative experience: Changing room needs updating
Fantastic experience: Very good
Positive experience: Friendly staff but pool too small - Partington deserves better.
Fantastic experience: do muay Thai here on Monday 6-7pm with master ronnie green 5 times world champion everyone welcome it's a welcoming place also has swimming pool very relaxed atmosphere
Positive experience: Easy to park. Basic facilities and the swimming pool is usually in use for schools, so check the website for times if planning a swim. Best place for swimming lessons for kids as the water is nice and warm and the instructors are experienced. Changing rooms are basic, as are the vending food and drinks. Tiny viewing area though, so get there early for a good view.
Fantastic experience: Some quality in that Salford academy team..
Positive experience: Only use the astro turf so can't really review the place properly
Positive experience: Ok Leisure centre

Fantastic experience: Great for the football teams fantastic all weather pitches. Spot on!!!
Positive experience: Clean tidy, friendly staff with various activities on offer, parking can get tight at times.
Fantastic experience: I like the centre but they need to open the gym back up during the mornings as I can’t use now was nice and easy to fit around day now only open when kids out of school
Positive experience: Good facility more like this needed
Positive experience: Good facilities not enough evening classes
Positive experience: Large sport pitches clean fascilities
Fantastic experience: CP UNITED FC
Negative experience: Disorganised and some facilities like women's dry changing now no longer available. Manager is rude with no customer service. General staff lovely though.
Fantastic experience: Excellent facilities
Fantastic experience: Good small sports centre
Fantastic experience: Friendly helpful staff
Positive experience: It's okay, clean and tidy, staff are friendly
Fantastic experience: Great place
Negative experience: They tell you that you can come in but then send you back
Positive experience: Only visit here to help with grandchildrens swimming lessons. Somewhere to sit and watch, with a vending machine if needed.
Negative experience: Needs improvement and updating
Fantastic experience: Good
Fantastic experience: All year use, great space
Positive experience: Great 3g pitches. Changing area for pool is poor but clean. The showers are way too low for adults. Overall in need of renovation.
