Negative experience: Poor manager Needs educating in management skills and how to communicate in a professional manner with people I'm sure membership will go up in numbers if he goes

Positive experience: Convenient air bnb, friendly service, with use of the spa facilities, the accommodation could do with a bit of spruce up

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of this gym since 2020 and I have to say , I love it here ! I have always been so well treated by the staff. I couldn’t recommend this place enough! This is a special place , and I am glad I found this little gem. It has its own spa, the gym and pool facilities itself are great !the restaurant has some amazing food . A great place to catch up with work , meeting up with friends and getting fit ! Couldn’t be more happy with a leisure center facility ! Love to you all and keep up with the good work !

Negative experience: Please don’t book here. Owners are very weird, caught them a few times looking through the letter box. First time we confronted them by opening the door the owner started to do some press ups acting like he was working out just outside our door and the second time we opened the door they ran away with literally their pants down. I wish I was lying

Fantastic experience: Liberty Leisurs is such a gem, I’m so glad we have it in our lives. Everything you need in a gym for a proper workout and the ladies own room is a bonus. The swimming pool is lovely and usually very warm. The cafe is spot on, decent menu and decent prices. Then there’s the crèche - absolutely incredible. My one year old goes twice a week and loves it, they’ve really put a lot of effort into making it fun in there with activities set up for them all them time. Andrea the main child carer in there is friendly and caring and the other ladies that help out in there too are just as lovely. They’ve also got a kids club for my older two who love it and they don’t just waltz happily into clubs they don’t know, I was amazed. The spa is ideal, no it’s not a Champneys level of spa but it’s just what you need to take some me time more regularly as it’s priced so well. I’ve been for spa afternoons and evenings a few times and really enjoyed a couple of treatments and the spa to chill without maxing out on spend. This place is PERFECT!

Negative experience: I personally think it's very hot in the gym, hot tub is rarely (in my experience) warm, lots of facilities seem to be broken and not repaired - piece of wall fell off into the hot tub whilst in it. Changing room and pool hallway could do with a bit more of a clean. Changed to two stars as car parking is good, reception staff nice and I think the bar inside is a good idea. Shame they can't fix the other bits

Negative experience: Couldn’t check in, rude host We chose this place as it was close to a wedding we were attending. The host suggested we do late check in and said she would leave the key in a safe. When we arrived we realised she had provided the wrong safe code so we were locked out in the dark in the middle of nowhere with two toddlers. When I tried to contact them they didn’t answer so I had to call multiple taxis and try to find a new hotel to stay in. We spent 30 mins trying to get into the safe to get the key to our apartment. The place itself is very dark and doesn’t have any lights making it very unsafe to offer late check in, especially if they are then not contactable. When I contacted her the next day she was so rude and unhelpful and even ignored me when I asked for a refund or even an apology! No apology. No explanation. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Negative experience: I’ve been a member of Liberty Wychbold for approximately 1 year now. I’ve just terminated my membership due to the poor facilities. If you are joining for the gym, all well and good. If you are joining to relax in the sauna, steam room or hot tub, don’t waste your money. I and many others have complained on numerous occasions about dangerous and faulty areas. The salt room has never worked. The steam room is dangerous, ceiling falling in with tiles falling off the walls, the sauna benching is broken, it’s actually fell apart in one section. The hot tub is more like an ice plunge pool and smells. Around the hot tub, tiles are missing. The place is just in a poor state. When you complain you hear the same story over and over, we have new apparatus on order or the parts come from abroad. The management team are never around for you to chat to. Everyone you speak to in and around the facilities are fed up of paying the high monthly fee for such poor services. As I say, don’t waste your money, find somewhere else where the owners actually care about their customers.

Positive experience: Enjoyed my spa experience at liberty leisure, had a lovely lunch and a massage as part of the package. My only negative would be the noise levels generated from jacuzzi and pool when running, and the location is right next to the loungers.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant gym & facilities, the team are always helpful and the sticky beef is lovely.

Positive experience: I trained here, the staff are miserable all round pretty much. The walking machines are disgusting wothball sweat on them. I left here to go anywhere else. Not worth 79 a month, I can join 4 gyms combined that are better at that price.

Negative experience: After being a member for a few months, due to a change in personal circumstances I decided to cancel my membership. Be warned, whilst they say it is 1 months notice to cancel it isn't. I have had to effectively give 7 weeks notice because it needs to align with my "next bill" at the end of the month. Poorly written terms of service and not what was discussed on signing up. Be careful when trying to cancel

Fantastic experience: Great day, lovely relaxing spa facilities and treatments. Friendly and attentive staff and not too busy.

Negative experience: Spa nice but jacuzzi/ hot tub area very cold, which spoilt the experience and therefore not worth money and would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: I decided to book a last minute Solo spa day and it did not disappoint. I left feeling relaxed and pampered. I booked and had a back, neck & shoulder massage, gel polish on toes and lunch. The hydro pool was my favourite! The swinging pods did leave me feeling anxious but I tried them and was nice. Lunch was lovely. The main big pool was upstairs and sadly wasn’t very warm but was still nice to use. I will be returning and possibly checking out the Solihull one too.

Negative experience: Me and my family stayed for 4 nights, the apartments are run down, very dirty, and not particularly peaceful, most of the spa facilities not in service of what we was not told about on arrival, avoid at all costs this is no spa .At no point did I threaten to throw curry over carpets as described by liberty' leisure, I clearly suggested that due to only have 2 dining chairs and with 4 guests that this could happen, liberty leisure were not forthcoming in any way

Negative experience: As a regular business booker, I booked anapartment on Air BNB for some of our workers. I had to cancel it due to internal issues - fair enough, but the next day the issues were resolved and I asked for booking reinstating within 24 hours of cancellation. They said they could not do this as they did not know how to, so I contacted Air BNB who offered to help them do it. They ignored Air BNB instructions and all contact from Air BNB and just took 2 lots of money. Daylight robbery and will NEVER use them again. funny how they responded when I told them I would review them accordingly... They have also lost 8 weeks worth of bookings.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym and the classes! My daughter also has her swimming lessons , we use the cafe most times we are here as a family the food is delicious. The crèche is also great and really convenient, my daughters love Andrea. Would recommend for all family’s.

Negative experience: Stayed for the night as a treat over the christmas break. First day there the spa was cold and the salt cave, ice room and steam room where all out of order. Reported it to the person at reception to be told 'oh it all should be working' went back in the next day and asked the lady behind reception if everything was working to be told it was apart from the salt cave which hadnt been in action for a while. We went through to the pool area and again the steam room, ice room werent working and the spa cold. Went back to reception and was told someone would look into it and the speak to us later. Noone came to speak to us at all and the facilites didnt get sorted we where there and according to several.members we spoke to things havent worked for a while. We spoke to the company we booked the accomodation through and were told that liberty leisure maintain everything was working and noone else had complained and refused us any sort of refund despite ruining our stay and lying to us. Bad customer service and awful facilities. Go somewhere else and save yoursefl the awful experience we had.

Positive experience: We had a lovely day, not so keen on the tent pods, not the easiest to get in and out of quite noisy in there, could do with a relaxing quiet room with soft relaxing music and comfortable loungers. The whirlpool was special, absolutely loved it, again the rattan loungers not very comfortable if your spending all day there. Lunch was very nice, constant cold water available. Take your own padlock for locker which we didn't know about so it cost us £4.50 to purchase one from reception. Will go again though.

Positive experience: Another lovely day at Liberty Spa having a catch-up with friends ❤️.. great food, great treatment, and nice staff...slight hiccup when we first arrived and headed for the jacuzzi as we were all troubled with sore watery eyes, which was due to the chlorine content in the water..the water first thing was also slightly cool which was not as comfortable as last time we went....soon put to rights by calling the manager and the problem was rectified..when we ordered a cup of tea it was complimentary..we have been here on several occasions and like it very much, its a shame that we have,nt been offered a slightly better discount for when we return as that would be the icing on the cake and is also good customer service given the inconvenience. This is my only reason for not giving Liberty a 5 star on this occasion..

Fantastic experience: Enjoyed our 1 night stay in the Air B&B. Lovely clean house, comfy beds, stones throw from the leisure centre; where we enjoyed using the pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. (All included in the price ) We also enjoyed a delicious lunch in the restaurant, my friend with allergies and (strictly no gluten or dairy) was so happy that there were dishes she could eat, it really made her day! We'll all recommend.

Positive experience: This is an amazing leisure center and the flats can be rented out as an Airbnb. Perfect place to unwind and relax. The center has a gym, pool, hot tub, sauna, steam and everything you really need a leisure center.

Fantastic experience: Left a fantastic review but also got let down by some jobsworth who thinks we have to clean the oven after we leave after paying a cleaning fee when we booked for 2 nights Honestly would have stayed again but never again now THE AUDACITY

Fantastic experience: Have just joined having been shown round. It has ample parking and a new welcoming building. The reception is friendly and has fingerprint entry which is much more convenient than carrying cards around. The facilities are spotlessly clean throughout. The pool is large and kept very warm. Facilities include gym, squash courts, free classes a licensed bar and restaurant. The lockers are also free. Pricing is very reasonable with just one month cancellation period.

Positive experience: Pleasant sport centre but the Jacuzzi does smells like a dangerous mouldy soup where hypothermia is more likely than heat stroke and frequently things are broken or not working. Its also very popular with screaming children at times.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service, broken facilities and dirty floors.

Positive experience: I love this gym, its the one I actively go to and its lovely. Its great for swimming and buying food aswell as actually using the gym part. My only issue is some people disobeying rules inside the pool, and with their being no staff inside to correct the issues it can be mayhem

Fantastic experience: Went to the spa here which was fabulous. Very clean and relaxing and the massage was brilliant. The food was delicious too.

Negative experience: I was a member for a short time cancelled my membership due to feeling uncomfortable with men cleaning the womens changing rooms all times of day , when I mentioned this to staff there they made me feel like I was weird or stupid . Once I came out of the pool to get changed there were 2 men cleaning in the changing room and no cubicles to change in ( there's only 2) and no way was I going to have a shower!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic stay, with use of the facilities included. Good price and real value for money. Food was exceptional (all healthy options) especially the cauliflower steak! Only observation was the flooring was very slippy when wet. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Good facilities. The gym was well stocked and not too busy. Pool is 25m with no depth changes - good for swimming lengths. A few aspects were a little tired like the family changing areas but all functional. Staff very friendly and helpful too.

Fantastic experience: I had a great whole day Spa experience. All ladies there are so nice, customer service is on point form the time you enter the spa till the end. I had facial treatment done by Paula and she was so professional and whole treatment was really relaxing. Food in the restaurant is fresh and everything is delicious.

Negative experience: I called the place and explained that I would like to use the gym facility for 2 weeks. They said they have an option for this, and I should just come. At the place I have different conversations, so I have to buy a 3 month subscription, and no reimbursement or any discounts. I was disappointed.

Negative experience: If you don’t care for your own safety and like to see every fire door propped open with kettle bells 24/7, then this is the gym for you. Pool is ok. Sauna is sometimes on. Showers not always that hot. Gym is a fridge with windows always open. Absolutely not state of the art as advertised. Will do if you are ok with the above.

Fantastic experience: Wow! An amazing spa day experience. Staff were attentive, spa had all of the facilities you could want, atmosphere was lovely and calm, massage was perfect. Not too big so it felt more personal too. Lunch was delicious and food options were varied. I will be visiting again, soon!!

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing we had wonderful time and one of secret escape place for quite and relaxing breaks , still a lot fun for family too as we always go there and stay in Airbnb houses for breaks also we get access to swimming pools everyday as wel as sauna steams rooms unlimited ☺️☺️ Staff is so helpful and kind And so close t Birmingham for plenty of food choices

Positive experience: Decent gym, unfortunately swimming pool it's quite cold, ended up catching cold twice this also I am bit annoyed by parent's that aren't wearing shoes covers while they walking to swimming pool to watch Their children's having swimming lessons. Also would like to mention that my son cut his big toe quite deep inside the swimming pool on those hole's which are placed on the walls underneath the water surface and did received treatment by lifeguard, however they have run out bandages so couldn't cover the bleeding properly... That was shocking for me. And nothing been done to those holes yet... Gym isn't bad, some of the running machines are not in use but there's plenty of others ones so not big issue. Can get quite crowded at peek times. Parking quite big.

Fantastic experience: Stayed in the accommodation and it's amazing tobe fair can't complain staff a reception were really helpful offered us to use the facilities, and helped when we were being idiots trying to login WiFi, thank you! The apartment itself brilliant comfortable spacious 2 double bedrooms great shower and a balcony almost heaven got to say would well recommend

Positive experience: We have used the Spa here a number of times. It's wonderful as it's so quiet and peaceful. It feels like you are in a hidden cave. The staff are friendly and helpful. Facilities are top notch. I would totally recommend it.

Negative experience: Had a spa day today at 1:30-5:30 Not overly impressed with the customer services at all. Found the staff quite rude. Had to go up to the main reception twice to order food and the lady was on her phone not paying attention to what I was saying. She didn’t look every happy the fact I asked to order food. As no one was on the restaurant for me to order it too The hole time I was eating. The lady who did my facial also brought out my food . We sat in the Cosy seating space and the door got close as we was too loud. There was no peaceful music so it was a dead noice. Staff wasn’t ready for our facial as the lights was on when we entered the room…. Nobody else was in there

Positive experience: Gym is brilliant but the toilets/showers could do with some money being spent on them.

Negative experience: This gym could be excellent, however it's clear that the owner/management have no interest in anything but taking every penny. There are several issues that really detract from the experience. It has a very nice premium modern feel which draws people in. But the gym AC is NEVER used, and there isn't even enough air ventilation, so it's often hotter, and more humid than the air outside. The women's gym doesn't even have any windows to open! the steam room/sauna spend more time off than on, the pool is often uncomfortably cloudy, but on the occasion that it is clear, the water is lovely. The walkway from the changing room to the gym is incredibly slippery, as it's a wet tiled floor. Oh and because they don't use the AC, the changing room is like a hot, humid, green house. have complained to the staff several times and nothing changes. Upon close inspection I've found THE OWNER WENT TO JAIL FOR RUNNING SCAM COMPANIES so I shouldn't have been surprised, as this entirely sums up the attitude of the manager/owner. Honestly there's even more things I could go on, but this review would just be too long.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff, great food and drinks from the restaurant, from a lovely girl called Niamh. Also went for a massage here and will certainly be going again. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had really good time in this please. We was in 29th house. Thatt was very clean and comfortable. We had all weed need in that house. We went to the leisure center s pool. That also really good. We had a really good and relax time in theyre.

Fantastic experience: Just joined with the family, it is an amazing place to train, all the staff are friendly. Some family members have stayed in the accommodation onsite to meet up and have lunch. We were so pleased with the stay we can only thank the staff at Liberty's. Keep up the good work.

Positive experience: I feel as if I’ve been misled whilst joining liberty leisure. We were told that our son could have swimming lessons but then when it came to book the lessons we were told that due to staff leaving it’s not possible now and no plan currently to increase capacity. The 2nd issue is with the lack of a crèche. Again, we joined this gym because it advertised this service. Drop the kids off and go for a workout. Turns out they also do not have staff for this! Back to David Lloyd!

Spa facilities near the pool so the kids could play & swim in the pool while we used the steam room & jacuzzi etc. Only stayed one night as we were travelling on but would definitely return!

Fantastic experience: Booked a Spa day with a friend and had the most wonderful time. Much needed after a lot of stress recently. Had a fantastic massage from Emma and felt totally zen all day. Fab facilities - such a hidden gem! Definitely will recommend to others!

Fantastic experience: Great club. Very friendly. Good range of high calibre classes, I especially enjoy the high octane Zumba and the challenging Pilates. Both welcome people of all levels to find out if they'll enjoy them. Off-peak membership is great value in my opinion.
