Fantastic experience: If you’re a proper swimmer this pool is for you. Spotless, efficient and busy

Positive experience: Good for badminton at a reasonable price. Bring your own racquets and shuttles. They have some you can borrow but are not great quality.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant leisure centre for swimming. The fact it has international in the name put me off going for a while because I thought everyone there would be super fast semi pro swimmers, I need not have worried, it's just like any other Glasgow club pool.

Negative experience: I came to Tollcross swimming today to let my 2 year old twins have a bit of a splash in the baby pool . I was with my 2 friends and their children . But I wasn't allowed in with my kids because I was one adult with two children . I think it's pretty unfair as my partner works full time and he couldn't come . I was with two adults all who are in our 30's as well but I get turned away because my kids are under 2 . I booked this on the website and no where said that 1 adult couldn't go in with 2 children under 2 . Having a bigger family can't be helped. I was raging and had to sit in the cafe until my friends came out as I didn't want their kids missing out. I understand certain rules are put in place, but we were only going to sit in a children's pool.

Fantastic experience: Great GYM staff very nice

Positive experience: Tollcross is a hive of industry! Dozens of people using equipment of all kinds. All levels of water activities also taking place. We could hear music in the background so presumed dancing classes were available. Managed to access the coffee machine which is card activated but lost my money in the pringle machine! We were picking up our grandaughter from her swimming club so only viewed the activities from the reception area. There is a small activity area for little ones beside the car park. The car park is large and free but very busy but we still managed to find a space.

Positive experience: Baby pool is good and staff are really friendly. Needs a big deep clean though as everything looks pretty grubby and there were some questionable brown marks on the walls of the family changing rooms. The floor feels pretty dirty under your feet too. The pool itself is good though and warm.

Fantastic experience: Luvved the whole experience of working at Tollcross pool during the European Championships,, what a fantastic venue, I hope some of my pics do the place justice, couldn't quite catch the atmosphere during races, but never know, I might be lucky and manage a job during the upcoming '26 games

Negative experience: I'm up visiting family atm and have been using the gym for the last few day's. The facilities are good plus the staff are real friendly and helpful. Until today when I was quite rudely asked for personal information by a not so helpful woman who made this experience really invasive. Not happy at tall with this experience

Negative experience: The pools are ok. But why the steam room and sauna remain closed is (not) baffling. Money saving! Also exactly zero of the lifeguards know what pool A or B is and 99.9% of the time whatever lane you book will be packed anyway and you'll be stuck in another lane whether or not it suits your speed. Whats the point in the booking system then we ask? Nothing. Just turn up and you'll be fine to jump in any lane

Fantastic experience: What lovely staff at reception we met on our first visit to this venue the gentleman we spoke to was extremely knowledgable in everything we enquired about and was so lovely to speak to made us feel so welcome. My husband and I only went for a swim but the whole venue was very welcoming and spotless will definitely be back .

Positive experience: I enjoy attending fitness classes and swimming at this venue. Particularly the spin and FT fit sessions. The changing areas within the dry side and swimming area need a revamp. Everything is looking a bit tired and old.

Fantastic experience: The staff arevalways very knowledgeable & helpful. The gym has a great equipment range and is very spacious, light and bright. The only thing missing is the leg stretcher. That was a must-do to ease ageing muscles & joints at the end of every gym session.

Fantastic experience: If you want to visit once, you can download app the app and book a time slot pretty easily. It's only 4 pounds. They provide lockers and showers, and even hairdryers.

Positive experience: The baby pool is located too close to the doors, and the workers and other visitors are constantly near that door leaving it open (it's automatic) so it's absolutely uncomfortable for the babies as cold drafts are constantly blowing over babys swimming pool.

Positive experience: Love the swimming pool but main pool have lots of events and is disappointing to go for swim just to be sent home because is a swimming competition. Shame the leisure place is closed, due to rising energy costs.

Fantastic experience: What can I say about the place, It is very clean, staff are super nice and friendly and the facilities are fully up to par!!

Negative experience: This place is in need of repair. The reception are is nice enough however swimming pool changing rooms are pretty disgusting, particularly the toilets.

Positive experience: Kids football on saturday mornings indoor is great however not overly child friendly in the swimming. The small kids pool is next to a massive double door which constantly opens and closes and every time it does the cold air that comes in is freezing. Not good right next to a child pool.

Fantastic experience: Visited the Rose Garden. These are part of international rose trials, and it was fascinating to see all the different roses - there are loads! All labelled too. Lots of beautiful flowers, even in August. What a great place.

Positive experience: The pool is good, but usually very busy. Seems like they only use one half of the main pool and seems like a waste. Sauna and hot tub facilities have been closed since COVID - seems to be the same for all Glasgow clubs which seems like a waste. Staff always very friendly and helpful

Fantastic experience: My partner and I use different swimming facilities when travelling and have just come to Tollcross Glasgow. Not knowing the pool or set up at new places is sometimes a challenge but the greeting and friendliness of the gentleman at the front desk today was superb. Warm, welcoming, friendly and helpful, couldn’t ask for more hence the 5 star rating. Unfortunately there was no name badge to use on this review but hopefully he gets to find this review and hope that he realised how appreciated his welcome was.

Negative experience: Front desk staff are unkind and inflexible. I was turned away from a swim for being late, and not nicely. Hard to understand why a public service like this is so difficult to manage for ease of use.

Negative experience: The security is extremely rude, the place is run down with water ingress into exposed power sockets with several buckets catching rancid water falling from the roof/air circulation pipes. The cafe is overpriced and mostly cheap, horrible food. Absolutely zero phone reception and many seats cordoned off due to leaks.

Positive experience: Best swimming pool facility in Europe Hoping repairs bring it back to glory. 2 x 50m pools

Negative experience: As a new mum I’m really struggling to find a swimming pool for my baby and this one really disappointed! I’d phoned earlier in the day to make a booking for 17:30 for myself, my partner and my baby to double check they had a baby pool and to confirm I was booking it correctly online and the lady I spoke to said it was absolutely fine. Upon arrival the older gentleman with glasses that greeted us was really quite rude and refused us entry due to the baby pool being closed. I was told I could take him into the lane pool but it would be too cold because their children’s pool was shut due to it being too late. I asked to move it and he bluntly was saying it was closed again. I’m really not happy with this service because I was told on the phone it would be fine and that was me double checking !! having to ask for a refund now because they’re too busy to open the pool for babies any day! if you have a baby and are looking to go swimming with them anywhere in glasgow, don’t!

Fantastic experience: Great place as it has swimming as an option for free in your gym pass. Clean and no restriction if you have clients joining, other then they have to have pass too. The gym could use some upgrades and fixing but overall good condition. There are courts available for extra like basketball badminton etc.

Positive experience: Bumping this place down a star for its cumbersome and annoying booking requirements. The pool itself is pretty good and at a decent price considering it’s so close to Glasgow. Bonus points for not needing a membership and being regularly cleaned. Like all council buildings it’s not as pristine as it was when it was new but it’s still a really good pool.

Positive experience: Lovely Friendly lady on reception this morning my first time visiting here in perhaps 1 year and it was a very pleasant visit. I had asked about the Health suite and unfortunately it has never reopened since closing due to Covid. The lady was kind enough to explain to me as I had asked why I couldn't book it in the app or online. I waited until our time booked and the lovely lady behind the reception said ok boys and girls you can go in. She made us all laugh as there were quite a bunch waiting to go in. Now that's what I call service with a Smile, I'm just sorry I never got her name but she had to take an upto date photo for my pay as you go file, and she commented and said you've went from long hair to short and I've went from Short to long We both laughed. It cost nothing to Share a Smile across the way when doing so it can make all the difference and uplift that persons day. Thankyou for doing so it's set me up for the day X

Fantastic experience: They had the 50m pool open, decent gym there and stand so you can have an audience if you want! There is a small place to get food and drink. It is handy that you don't have to leave but it is expensive.

Fantastic experience: International Olympic swimming pool - excellent! You can book a lane just now for an hour for £3! Plenty of parking and a nice park if you want a walk after your workout!!

Fantastic experience: The perfect pool for a little one. We went here with our 2 year old and he loved the shallow splash area. It gave him enough bravery to try the big pool. We tried to go to the Gorbals but it was a disappointment for him after this. The staff at the desk are really nice and the lifeguards seem a bit intense and watch the children like hawks. I guess you want that. However, the water is quite cold and big automatic double doors near the splash pool let in very cold air directly to small swimmers. This is our favourite pool in Glasgow, but bring a big warm towel and maybe a thermos of cocoa to survive the changing room. There are also hair dryers, and since they'll be shivering from the water temperature, you'll need to get their hair dry before leaving to avoid little ones catching cold. Nice well lit changing rooms, but don't expect proper showers. We will come back soon - maybe with a warmsuit!

Negative experience: I have had the worst treatment by the staff here. I came with my two year old daughter and wanted to use the little shallow pool. They told me I had to wear a bathing suit so I was even going to purchase one, for over £20, since I promised her that she was going to get in while her older sister was doing her swimming class. Then the person at the desk told me I was not allowed in because I hadn't booked a session! At this point I know that the little shallow pool is in fact empty. He calls his manager, Kelly. I have never seen such a cold hearted person, treating us like we were idiots. She did not even had the decency to let my little one in there for 5 minutes, which is what I had left of my session if I had booked. She had zero motherly instinct, she was cold and harsh and let's understand here, the pool at this point is still EMPTY. This little shallow pool has been used by mums and little kids that I know, WITHOUT booking while their children are doing swimming classes. Now, either this policy, which is obnoxious, is respected by everyone, or no one. I feel discriminated against, since we were not allowed to use the pool but other people were and I know for a fact they had not booked, since I specifically asked about it. Absolutely awful, horrendous treatment guys. It is a shame, as the swimming teachers are so good.

Fantastic experience: I come here twice a week with the boy I support. Great gym, aircon, & very clean and staff (especially James) he's been great with Ross who is in a wheelchair, Always helping him out giving him new exercises to do. Thanks Guys!
