Fantastic experience: Great gym, great equipment with no waiting for machines and free weights. Only down side is that some men exercise with their top off, which I've noticed makes a some of women and young girls uncomfortable.

Negative experience: The actual gym is good. Good range of equipment, quiet, cheap. 1 star because the guy who opens up is almost always late in the morning by 10-15 minutes. They open at 6, it’s 7am right now and the lights are off, door locked. Completely ruins your routine. If you plan to get a workout in first thing, find another gym, or you’ll waste a lot of unnecessary time.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this gym! So sad to leave but I moved and had to move gyms. The whole team is super friendly and welcoming and more than happy to give helpful advice. Also want to say the manager Fil is fantastic, always goes above and beyond to get to know his members and make sure there comfortable and catered for. Also Fil is always playing bangers in the gym and happy to take song request wich just makes the gym a really nice place to be :). A massive thank you to the whole team at broadwalk for giving me such a great experience and keeping me motivated

Fantastic experience: A great local gym packing in lots of equipment and a variety of classes into relatively small space. Before and during Covid the gym is always kept to a high standard of cleanliness with sanitizer and towels always available and the staff (when they're not keeping the place immaculately clean) are friendly and helpful. A*

Negative experience: Too expensive for what you get, a tiny gym and they want over 20 quid a month Pure gyms are much cheaper and 4 times the size

Fantastic experience: I was always very self conscious of going to the gym. Last year, I decided to give it a go because I needed an outlet after a new job. Decided to go for énergie instead of pure gym because on my commute. It’s been a year now since I’ve been going regularly and I must say it’s got a lot to do with the atmosphere of the place. I don’t feel judged, people help you out if they notice that your form is wrong. The equipment aren’t the newest but they are decent. The administration really listens to suggestions from people. My only complaint would be that they are no boxing classes for evening classes. There used to be and I really enjoyed it but they have been cancelled.

Fantastic experience: I don’t often review anything unless I’ve felt there’s merit in it. The fit4less gym has gone through a revamp bring it from what was a rather basic gym to an upscale popular place to workout. I’ve been there since it’s been open and it’s only now that I rate it. This is due to their new kettlebell cafe, upgraded equipment and friendly warm welcoming staff. Check it out it’s just of the Wells road near broad walk shopping centre.

Fantastic experience: Excellent range of equipment for a modestly sized gym. Friendly staff and good prices, but I'm not so sure about the sweary music occasionally played over the PA in the evenings... Update: sweary music now off the menu. Bliss!

Positive experience: Small gym but has all the essentials, plus many classes Monday to Sunday, all for an affordable price.

Fantastic experience: Been a member since they opened, handy for me as live a short distance away. There's a large free car park for those who are a bit further away and location is close to main wells rd . It is clean, tidy , well thought out and roomy. Changing rooms are immaculate, showers are separate cubicles rather than open room. Considering the size of the place there's a very comprehensive amount of equipment to use, cardio, weight machines and free weights plus ropes, punchbag and studio area . Staff are super friendly and helpful and always on hand if you need assistance. Always enjoy a workout in this great gym!

Positive experience: Friendly staff - just wish there was a pool!

Negative experience: Hi, This is now the 3rd time in a short space of time where the staff have failed to attend at your supposedly agreed opening time. Gym members are having sit around waiting for someone to arrive as the opening times seem to vary depending on how the staff are feeling on the day. It is completely unacceptable that we, as paying customers have to wait for staff and then only to be told that they overslept, their car broke down, feeling ill or lack of communication, what ever that means. The service being delivered is far from acceptable. I am aware that this is a constant issue, I've seen that this is supposedly "sorted" yet it is still happening. Numerous of gym members are saying the same as we're sat here awaiting the presence of the staff. The lack of commitment from the staff is far from acceptable and I would like to know how you intend on rectifying this issue and deliver a constant standard of professionalism as I'm pretty confident you will start losing members if this is not rectified. 8 months on from this and nothing has changed! Completley unreliable. The energie fitness takeover has not improved the service (even though they've increased the price of membership) if your looking for a gym that opens early and on time every day, this isnt it.

Fantastic experience: Excellent value for money gym with good dedicated staff! Personal trainer are available if you want on need that extra push - I have been working with Sam who has helped me maintain enthusiasm and aided a weightloss of over a stone in 6 weeks!! Top job!!

Fantastic experience: Finally a decent gym at fraction of the price!! I love that it has that new gym feeling offering top of the range new equipment.. I'm quite big on hygiene too so it's nice to workout when the place is kept mint! Team are friendly and welcoming...it's all open plan and spacious..you're not cramped in a corner when your working out..its not over crowded ..it's perfect ..its fresh ..I mean I highly recommend it. Coming here makes me want to be a better, fitter, happier person. Keep up the good work!

Fantastic experience: It's not a huge space but they've managed to fit a lot in - almost as much as much larger gyms in the city centre. It's all new, clean and bright (the lime green and pink colour scheme isn't quite as intense in reality as it is on the website thankfully). Also, at the moment and at the times that I go, it's quieter than certain other city centre gyms so it's easy to choose whatever you want to do. Brilliant!
