My Gym Battersea

Positive experience: The place is well located and safety is great. We started going when my daughter was 2 years old and she enjoyed it for about a year. Some coaches were great, others less so, but we didn't enjoy the special events (ex. Frozen)

Negative experience: Very overpriced classes for what the kids do. They always start the class late and then spend a lot of time just playing games, sitting around and doing pretend play than actual gymnastics. Only the free trial class was good and I could see the value in it but once i signed up, it all went south.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant

Fantastic experience: We just had my daughter’s 5th birthday here and it was a great day. The kids had a ball, the parents all had a great time and it all ran really smoothly. Our main party leader Mr Tiago had the kids having so much fun with games and dancing. My daughter loved every minute of it and we would highly recommend. Great team. Great space. Lots of fun.

Negative experience: Very bad experience!!! I don’t always write a review but this time must! will never go back again and never any my gym classes!!! I registered my girl to several different classes, this is a trial one but such a terrible experience!!!!!!!!!!!! My 2.5 years girl bumped into a girl during a teacher guided activity and her right eye was hit by the girl’s head, then had a blue eye! The coach should be more professional, and should ask 2 Years children run into the same rather than both directions in a game!!! After this accident, my girl cried, one lady teacher(I think she is also the receptionist) comfort the other girl who looks fine because she hit my daughter with her head, and never ask how was my girl who had a swelling eye and a swelling face. I believe it’s because we were having the trial class but that girl had been there before!!! So disappointed and disgusted!!!!!! Before this accident happened, there were twice my girl was so happy to attend another 2 activities, the lady coach and receptionist i referred before, seems very unwilling to help her but for the other regular children, she has a totally different behavior, and smile….very bad, rude and discrimination You can charge for the trial class, but please do not treat children differently!!!!!!! They are precious, and I will not go back to any my gym classes!!!never!

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my son since he was 6 months old (he is currently almost 2 years old), the staff currently working are brilliant! Miss Shan is charming, dedicated to kids and she is always looking to make the little ones smile. My son at first missed her old teachers but Shan put a lot of effort into him, and to this day she adores her!!! Before he didn't want to put on the stamp at the end of the session and now he is standing in line to put him little hand on it and get the stamp. Thank you Shan Also Miss Lorena and Miss Taylor are so nice and very professional!

Negative experience: We went to this venue for a birthday. The staff is aggressive with children.. They pushed and shout on our son, he was crying as impossible. When we complained, they told us if you are not happy you can leave. Better to not let your children alone with these guys, they really don't care about children

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this place since my son is 6 months old (14 months now) I REALLY LOVE it and him even more! The staff is wonderful, friendly, kind and always aware of the children. Miss Melany, Miss Peny and Miss Emma are wonderful teachers, they are always willing to help and make our little ones happy. They do fun activities, learn the dance choreography with the puppets, etc... Honestly I highly recommend this place. Thank you so much for all the fun you give my little one ❤️❤️

Negative experience: Just returned from our child’s birthday party. While a nice place for the children to play, everything else was atrocious. The staff were yelling at parents to “be quiet” even though the parents were only having a normal conversation at normal volumes. Parents were prevented from watching their kids have fun, so that the staff “could be in charge” Kids were prevented from having cake at the venue (which defeats the purpose of a birthday party for a 4 year old), and but we were promised they would cut up the cake and parcel out the slices. They did this with cheap paper napkins that were destroyed in transit. The coffee cost £15 and was served burnt. Over priced and rude staff.

Fantastic experience: My son has been going to My Gym since he was 10 months old (nearly 5 now). He absolutely loves it! The class activities are adjusted according to age and the equipment is constantly shuffled around and constructed in different ways so that it doesn't get boring. The staff is absolutely amazing, full of energy and patience and they treat each child with care and make them feel special. The facilities are clean and maintained and parking is easy. It's also an excellent venue for kids parties!!! Holiday camps and parties are also a hit with the kids. Couldn't recommend highly enough!

Fantastic experience: I'm quite impressed. My son was enrolled with the trial £2 for 2 weeks so he attended the whiz kids and ninja training. No one else attended the whiz kids as it was summer but they were still noce enough to ask me if I wanted my kid to have free play in the area or if I wanted them to run the class for my kid. The 3 ladies who run the 2 classes stated above are all great. They seemed quite enthusiastic and my kid had loads of fun. We decided to join the membership after.

Negative experience: HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE I usually never leave a bad review but the staff were horrible and Me and my child felt uncomfortable the entire time incredibly rude staff! Shocking I genuinely thought we’d have a great time from the reviews but the staff are not only racist but extremely sarcastic and discriminate. Will be posting the evidence i have shortly.

Fantastic experience: My little boy had his 4th birthday party at my gym Battersea and wasn’t really sure what to expect of the time, but I have to say it exceeded all expectations. There is so much space for the kids to run wild and have the time or their lives. The teachers planned many activities from zip wire to acrobats and so many games. All the kids loved it and you could see the joy on their faces. The parents also loved it because their kids are safe in the gym or they can also participate. I would truly recommend for a kids party. The staff were all amazing! Great memories made! Thank you x

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this gym, they do great classes and camps programs for different age of children. My daughter love coming to the gym every week. The teachers are amazing energetic full of fun engaging the children, and highly skilled.

Fantastic experience: It's a really great and valuable experience for children! I love the structure of child led and adult led times and the wide range of activities and games! My son really enjoyed himself and it brought out his adventurous and confident side which I loved seeing.

Fantastic experience: I love bringing my 8 month old to the baby classes, he loves all of the different activities and equipment and is always tired out by all the fun! He has really come on socially and physically since bringing him and is much more confident. It's also so useful that if things don't go to plan (which is often with babies!) and we miss a class we can just book another time with no problem or charge. Will definitely be telling all my other friends to sign up!

Fantastic experience: MyGym is so fab for little ones - I love it as it aids my daughter’s physical development as well as her mental development. The facilities are great and the classes are so fun, focusing on movement and physical skills and the class leaders are really enthusiastic. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: We attended a four year old birthday party here yesterday and it was excellent. Loads of great equipment, including mini climbing walls, ball pit, balance bars and zip wire. Amazing staff full of energy and enthusiasm ensured that the party went with a swing with puppet shows, treasure hunt games and even assisting the kits with the trapeze. The party ended with food and cake in a big bright room at the back. Highly recommended.
