Positive experience: Fairly clean nice food good array of services but beds not comfortable and staff enthusiasm was lacking to say the least

Fantastic experience: Nice and hot sauna. Good value for money.

Positive experience: The water is cold. We used to be members few years ago, now we came back, and definitely something changed, as the water was warm for swimming and the jacuzzi was quite hot, but yesterday after few minutes I was freezing to sit in there. Cold water coming up from the seats. It's a shame and needs to be sorted ASAP.

Negative experience: Visited during the summer holidays and unfortunately kids were allowed to run amok unsupervised. Jumping in the water and vaulting over from the hot jacuzzi bit into the main pool. Not a very relaxing atmosphere for a spa! The treatments we had were all good. Various back, neck, head and leg massages. We ended up over paying for our spa days and gave up trying to sort it out in the end. Awful communications from them in general. So hard to actually get hold of anyone there to speak to, and they never once returned a phone call despite numerous messages.

Positive experience: I've been a member for over 35 years, and I go every day early in the morning start for me friendly staff and members

Positive experience: Spa day with my daughters. We had fun. But the "afternoon tea" turned out to be a small scone each and one cup of tea /coffee. We could have upgraded to sandwiches etc at around £14 per head extra but we declined. Treatments were a bit variable. My pedicure wasn't great. But we were given dressing gowns included in our deal and overall a good day.

Positive experience: Great membership prices here. And great facilities. Booking classes can be difficult as there are very limited spaces. £1 for a borrow of a towel ser use that I use, and find helpful instead of having 3 towels a week from going swimming. This place seems to be getting busier, but still plenty of room to do lengths. The cleanliness of the floors by the pool is a big dislike of mine, feel like that area could be swept more often. The pool is of good temperature and the seating is good too.

Positive experience: The operational manager was outstanding; gave us a warm welcome, made last minute adjusment to our rooms. Made the vist more worthwhile by informing us of upcoming entertainment Very hard working and so are the staff. Spa treatment excellent.

Positive experience: Thanks to the operational manager, we had a very pleasant stay. Spacious clean room, quiet at night. Breakfast could be improved but acceptable for a few nights stay. Good spa facilities but can be busy at times.

Fantastic experience: Lovely 2 night stay…Dee, Izzy & Jamie what a credit to this industry. I manage hospitality and would love more staff like these three. Amazing individuals… facilities standard but the staff make me want to make the 3.5 hour drive again! Honestly I can’t express enough how wonderful the bar/restaurant team are …you are lucky to have them!

Gym staff are also very happy and fun to be around always happy to help Debbie does an amazing job the spa looks spotless and Louise team are great x

Negative experience: Awful unwelcoming staff could not be bothered customer service what customer service staff ripped uniforms scruffy which was a shame as the hotel it self was very clean staff should do a customer service course did not feel welcome hence 1 stars and will not be using again
