Fantastic experience: All the staff are very friendly and helpful, as are those using the centre. So what if the ceilings occasionally leak, when you have festive decorations and smiley faces to greet you!! Staff rowing for Children In Need today so please support if you are able.

Negative experience: Rude staff including the manager. Took my daughter and her 5 friends for a Friday evening swim and one of them had turned 12 a week prior. They proceeded to deny her access so we all ended up having to go home. The staff were incredibly rude about it including the manager. Spend your money elswhere.

Fantastic experience: Took my girls (11/17yrs) swimming and had. A great time. Two good size pools (one is a wave pool) and a decent tube slide. Well worth the money.

Negative experience: Went to the leisure centre today for the waves and flume got there around 9:50 got a ticket, but then wondered on if the tickets we had bought actually let us on the flume turns out the times had changed from 10-12 and 1-3 to just 1-3 even though the timetable hadn't been updated and still showed both times but we thought that we would go for a normal swim anyways seeing as we were already there. There was about a million young children in the leisure pool so we thought that we would go into the main pool, until my friend got in and he was shouted at across the pool to get out so we thought we would just leave at that point so we got changed and just before we left the changing rooms we looked back in and only after we went in the pool a "pool closed" sign was put Infront of it, and to put the cherry on top as we were leaving we looked through the window to see people now in the pool we were shouted at to get out, so did that 2-3 minute difference REALLY matter that much to the life guard that shouted, WHAT A WASTE OF £10

Fantastic experience: Took the kids for a couple of hours & we all loved it! Staff are very friendly & helpful,the changing village is nice & clean,plenty of parking. Wave machine & flume were alot of fun & the main pool is a decent size too. Highly recommend it to anyone that hasn't been before. I shall most definitely be taking the kids back soon.

Positive experience: Great waves and flumes session at very reasonable prices. Music a bit on the loud side and the area where you take your shoes off is a bit disorganized with shoes everywhere. Maybe some simple wall boxes would be ideal with seats in the center then you wouldnt have to walk over people's shoes to sit down to get yours on or off!

Fantastic experience: The Koala club runs a holiday club at the premises. My girl loved it, especially because she was able to go to the pool as a part of the club. Decent amount of parking. I've noticed that besides the usual gym, they are running fitness classes and swimming lessons. Swimming gear available, keep in mind they only take card payments.

Positive experience: Fed up with no changing cubicals being available because selfish people dont put the things in lockers they leave them in cubicle.

Fantastic experience: Great place to take the kids swimming. Wave pool and big slide to enjoy too. Lots of parking, cafe and vending machines for snacks or light bites. Good size lockers too. Clean and very friendly staff always. It’s a regular for us each month. There’s also a gym and other facilities at hand.

Negative experience: The place smelt bad and the cafe / refreshment prices are absurdly expensive. The swimming pool is ok but i hate the changing area. the disabled toilet by swimming area has all the right equipment except the shower, its like a warm dribble.

Fantastic experience: This post is mostly to be used for people like myself looking for specific information on this particular pool, hope you find it useful. I haven't been to this pool in about 3 years so couldn't remember what to expect, after Googling it and searching Facebook for the info I couldn't find what I needed. I have a 4 year old daughter and we occasionally like to go swimming for fun, we live in Brackley which also has a pool managed by Leisure Centre. The reason I wanted to come here over Brackley pool, simple Brackley learner pool is full of debris and has been for months. I beleive it hasn't been cleaned as why would this scally stuff still be here each week, not only this has annoyed me but the pool and air was cold on our last visit which I beleive is down to a power issue with the solar being changed out. Either way I came to Towcester to try their pool again and I wanted to know is the pool warm, clean, what could I expect inside the changing rooms, could I bring my own toys in this particular session waves and flumes. It's very clean, the pool is warm, you can bring all your own toys and noodles. They have a hottub fyi it's 16 and over however so my daughter was very disappointed. I was concerned about the wave and flume with my daughter being 4 years old, waves are so fun, this whole pool is fun, she wasnt tall enough for the flume but this is also so much fun for adults and kids. The coffee shop and seating area inside the pool space is huge and really great. It was £6.50 for us both for 1.5hrs of pure fun I would highly recommend this place, the reception staff were really friendly and helpful. The pool staff rotated very frequently and they were all attentive and smiling. The learner pool had all kinds of water spraying from pipes, my daughter was initially scared but after 5 minutes she was screaming with laughter trying them all out. The main pool is also warm, and the hottub/dpa was quite warm. Personally I'd travel here for swimming from now on, sorry to it Brackley but so much better here. Positive experience: I am a member for over a year now and will definitely state that this is one of the best public leisure centres I have seen. There is definitely some room for improvement to get the 5 star review. Positives - clean - after renovation the gym is no longer smelly which is a great news (so glad the carpet is gone!) - good selection of classes (especially for people that are working full time) - plenty of equipment to choose from - loads of parking space Room for improvement - I experienced staff being either not pleasant or very neutral, most of the staff wouldn’t respond to simple good morning or looking towards different direction ignoring you - there tends to be group of people going to the gym together (either a group or 6 to 7 young boys or group of 3 to 4 girls). They seem to not train, rather gather around for hours blocking equipment being very loud. I have never seen anyone challenging it - some cars are parking on the grass, where there is a LOT of parking space available Overall, great gym and leisure centre. The staff could step up their game and be a bit more pleasant and able to challenge not the right behaviour.

Positive experience: Been a member at this leisure centre for just about a year. Overall there is very little to mark it down but there are a few things that would secure 5 stars. The good bits The centre is always clean and tidy, including the toilets. The pool is well managed and has a good mix for adults and kids. There are plenty of activities to get involved with and a good range of classes if that’s your thing. The new gym has everything that you’ll need for a fully rounded workout. Even when at its busiest there’s enough equipment to make do even if you do have to adjust your session. There are staff members that are super friendly and helpful (further comment in the next section). The not so good bits The not so friendly staff are just that, don’t acknowledge you passing by even when directly spoken to with a hello, morning or goodbye. Not the end of the world but manners cost nothing right. It was a shame to see the 3rd rowing machine removed just as it was waiting for a replacement foot rest. The drain in the men’s shower has backed up a few times and left a nasty residue on the floor- remember the flip flops. Overall genuinely surprised how good this is for a public facility.

Fantastic experience: Very impressed. The whole place was very clean, the staff were all really friendly. The wave machine came in regularly. We saw the changing rooms (including all lockers) be cleaned at least twice while we were there. We went nice and early and there weren't too many people, so we got 90 minutes instead of the guaranteed 60 minutes. Have already promised the wee man that we'll go back again next week.

Positive experience: Reasonably priced local leisure centre with a flume and wave pool, gym and activity hall that include various sessions for gym goers. Also badminton, toddler lessons soft play activities, and external provider offer karate sessions etc. The gym had a refit within the last year. Free weights and exercise equipment where u can record your progress. Overall, good value for the money.

Positive experience: Not bad swimming pool to be fair with a wave machine and a water slide tunnel. Which a good 3 storeys high, but it is not fast at all. There are more than enough life guards looking over you. The only downside to this location is the process of getting in (covid related) its a first come first served and only the first 120 ppl in then you have to wait another 1hr 15mins. Its not bookable over the Internet, everyone has to queue and pushed into the lobby area. Then all together into the changing rooms where you are huddled in a small corridor waiting for the gate to be opened.

Positive experience: Recently upgraded swim to full gym membership. Cathy (in the office) is wonderful and so helpful. Facilities at the gym and swim are really clean and plenty of space for everyone to be there. Swimming can get busy in the evening with lane swimmers but still get a decent session.

Positive experience: My kids love the wave pool only thing was there was no toilet in the changing rooms to use before u went into the pool

Negative experience: Absolutely abysmal website booking form, when we arrived for parent and toddler session we were told only one parent allowed, but on the website it doesn't give you any advice or guidance on numbers, ages etc. Several families in front of us at the reception had the same problem. I could probably have written a brilliant review on the facilities if I had of been able to enjoy them, but instead I went for a coffee whilst my partner enjoyed our little ones first moments in a pool. Not impressed, sort out your website!

Fantastic experience: Took my 2 girls (10 and 12 yrs so confident swimmers as it is currently lane only) swimming for first time in well over a year today. The refurished changing rooms are spacious and well laid out with plenty of disabled facilities. There are now cubicle showers too and these are currently open for pre and post swim. There is a clear one way system in/out of the pool and staff were super friendly explaining everything Covid related to us. The lanes were not as busy as I'd expected and it was just lovely to be back in the water! Planning to book again v.soon (even if this wasnt the slickest of systems for multiple family members!) **Do remember a £1 coin as previous everyone active coins do not work on new lockers....

Negative experience: Regularly use the pool for my childs swimming lessons but the cleanliness has spiralled recently. Today curiosity got the better of me and I wiped a chair and pillar with a baby wipe which was black. Absolutely disgusting, will be looking for alternatives. EDIT: No better since the refurbishment. Cleaning crew seems to consist of one little lady cleaning an entire leisure centre. Changing rooms wreak of urine. My son and I have resorted to a "spot the stain challenge" where we each pick random stains or marks on the wall and see who is there the longest! It's been 8 weeks and the competition is still going strong. This place is absolutely filthy. Unfortunately it's a necessity as there are no other local swimming lessons. Wouldn't come in spare time and can't wait till my boy can swim and I can leave this place behind. Disgusting.
