Positive experience: I have just joined, but already disappointed at how many weights are left lying around and not re-racked. What a pain it is to have to tidy up after lazy people before you can lift. For the price it’s ok, but could be so much better.

Fantastic experience: Second to none the equipment is excellent and I love that I can go to it anytime of night or day

Negative experience: You know how PureGym sends out surveys saying 'Communication is what makes a great relationship'? Well, I'm starting to feel like I'm in a one-sided relationship here. I've been a member at the Ballymena branch for some time, and honestly, it's been going downhill. Tried reaching out to the management about some issues back in July - it's been nearly a month and... nothing. Not exactly great communication, right? The problems? Where do I start? Got slapped with a £100 parking fine for overstaying by 22 minutes while I was working out. You'd think they'd help sort that out, but nope. The place isn't exactly sparkling clean either. Always finding bits of litter around, equipment left out overnight, and the state of the showers on some mornings... Oh, and the staff? When they're actually there, they might as well be invisible. A simple 'hello' seems too much to ask for. I've tried to talk to them about all this, but it feels like I'm talking to a wall. If you're after a gym that actually cares about its members, you might want to look elsewhere. Such a shame, really.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant and clean facilities with the most helpful and welcoming staff manager Julia. She’s always went above and beyond for me and my partner! 10/10 would definitely recommend

Positive experience: Has most of the equipment you need and any time I've seen an out of order sign it didnt last long before being fixed. Changing rooms are usually very clean, however you can't change the temp of the showers so the initial burst of water is freezing. Can be very busy from 16:00-19:00. There is no blue roll to clean the machines after use or before you use it if someone has left it stinking. I refuse to use my own towel to clean someone else's sweat. I've never tried any of the classes but they take part in the studio and in the open area of the gym. They need to turn their music and microphone down during classes. The trainers just seem to shout so loud you can't hear anything else.

Positive experience: My son go's to pureGym he said its very professional and very nice place.

Positive experience: Facilities and location very good and 24/7 . Most of the staff are professional but not the friendliest compared to some of the other pure gyms in NI. A Good value gym overall though

Negative experience: Terrible gym disgraceful customer service the yanga water tastes like sewage water and the dumbells smell like weed matrix equipment is terrible get cybex/ hammerstrength before opening a gym in ballymena come on now get better bigger start being like lifestyle fitness.

Positive experience: Free weight area is very good , some of the machines have very little adjustment , if had short arms you may find some are a bit of a stretch

Positive experience: Great place to start your journey, clean, friendly, good lighting. Staff is always helpful and professional. If you are hobbyists or beginner, you will find everything you need. For serious lifters unfortunately there is Not enough variety of machines, especially for back and chest, lack of hack squat or pendulum squat is big minus, cuffs are very poor quality. Looking for plates all over the place is annoying. Still recommend, as it’s in a great location, 24/7, free parking.

Fantastic experience: I enjoy the classes great atmosphere everyone encourages each other would highly recommend.

Positive experience: Puregym is great but where is the blue roll? Why do I have to clean the machine I'm using with a cloth that everyone is using? And why is it so cold in the changing rooms? Also, in Ballymena, they can do with a bit more equipment. Other than these, all good in Puregym, I do recommend it.

Negative experience: Had to walk out of the gym today because the guy taking a class had the microphone up SO LOUD that I couldn’t hear my own music.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym and super friendly staff who are amazingly helpful and super choice of equipment and I really love going to this gym and the friendly welcoming atmosphere.

Negative experience: Very poor standard of classes. If you're looking a gym, try Lifestyle as it has far far more to offer, and the standards of classes blow Pure Gym out of the water. Doesn't offer a quarter of the classes it advertised it would, and the ones it does have are very, very basic.

Fantastic experience: Blows lifestyle fitness off the map,cheap, easy to sign up, NO HIDDEN COSTS (LIFESTYLE FITNESS) friendly staff, top off range equipment, flavoured water fountain.

Fantastic experience: Nice Gym , very clean inside and plenty of machine's, Staff is nice and helpful... Excellent 10X
