Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of working with Laurence Reed at énergie Gym Putney, and my experience was outstanding. Laurence is incredibly professional and knowledgeable, tailoring a perfect fitness plan to address my specific needs. He developed a comprehensive plan focused on core strength and flexibility, which was both challenging and effective. Unfortunately, I had to pause my training due to health reasons and will miss Laurence's core plan for me which was exceptional and truly personalized, demonstrating his expertise and dedication to his clients' success. The gym itself is fantastic, with state-of-the-art equipment and very affordable membership options. The environment is welcoming, and the staff are always ready to assist with any questions or concerns. The customer service is top-notch and highly customized to individual needs, making every visit a pleasant experience. Special mention goes to Richard , the manager, who was incredibly helpful and provided great assistance throughout my time at the gym. His support and encouragement were invaluable, and he made sure I felt comfortable at all times. Overall, énergie Gym Putney offers an outstanding fitness experience. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced athlete, this gym caters to all levels and ensures that you receive the best possible support and guidance. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a supportive and effective workout environment. I look forward to returning in a few months once I'm recovered. Five stars all the way!

Negative experience: AVOID !!! Poor customer service - Manager is never around to deal with your concerns. I was told he is only there in the mornings ?! Inadequate equipment maintenance - equipment always out of use. They have a weighing machine which the staff said was broken for years. The gym always gets busy, and being such a small gym there simply isn’t enough space. There aren’t even enough lockers, where do I leave my valuables after work ?

Negative experience: Wouldn't recommend this gym, or the owner. Very small and pretty limited equipment particularly if its busy. Had an issue that was my fault which I admittedly reacted poorly to, but owners response was 'don't come back'.

Negative experience: Staff is ok and generally friendly. My problem has been: 1: The place is overcrowded at pick time, PT sessions become impossible or very difficult, and accessing the equipment is also difficult. They just don't manage the gym capacity. 2: The cancellation process.. - It's not on the app - You can't call Energie fitness global phone number(!!!) - It's not online (!!!!!!) => You have to find the Putney Energie fitness phone number or go to the gym......... So yes of course, to realise all this time goes by, and you forget about it / let it be, as it is ridiculously TIDIOUS! All in all it took me 5h30 to have my subscription cancelled. R.i.d.i.c.u.l.o.u.s.

Fantastic experience: I'm canceling my subscription because I had two problems with the same person. I was having a problem with my direct debit and needed someone from the gym to help me, as I was paying per day to use the gym I was really annoyed by this as I still don't print money. I was polite and asked a guy in the office for help, he said he couldn't help me because he was just a personal trainer, I left my politeness aside and was rude. The second problem was, I was training, and he was on the side talking very loud and disturbing the training... I said that he talked a lot, and I reminded him of what he told me, that he is a personal trainer and that one of the The rules of the gym are not to talk loudly and disturb the training... well I think he didn't like it very much... I'm canceling my plan but I warn you that the equipment, hygiene, and all the people at the gym are excellent... I'm only leaving because an employee was too lazy to solve a customer's problem, and that really irritated me, I'm not going to lie... what I learned from this story is that when a customer has a problem, you should ask for help from someone who is willing to help it, not from someone who makes up excuses to avoid helping people using the name of their job title…. I want to believe that this personal trainer serves the English in the same way he served me when they need help with problems related to the plan

Negative experience: Staff is really friendly and that's where the advantages end. Changing cubicles/ showers are never clean, wipes and sprays seam to run out by the end of the day when I used to visit. To my question why is it in short supply, a member of staff told me that it is not legal requirement any longer. Company advertise membership as cancel any time. I Was charged for tow months as cancelation noticed of 30 days crossed billing date. That's a "Never again" experience to me.

Fantastic experience: Great gym All staff are exceptional . Excellent customer service . Facilities are clean and well maintained. 50 kg dumbbells and loads of other free weights with big enough weights . Good machines, 2 double side cable pullies to do your cable flys , very smooth Smith machine amongst others . There's a section with bags also. Showers are great too. At times a lot of females doing their workout there so if you are a guy Stay Focused, We must stay focused !

Positive experience: Highly recommend - I have been a member for a year and I am very happy with the Gym. Friendly staff, great machines. The Plus: incredible classes: - boxing with Chris (Tuesdays), Hiit boxing with Lawrence (Wednesdays), and Pilates with Emily (Wednesdays). They make the difference with any other gym!

Negative experience: Convenient and affordable, however if you are interested in weightlifting/novice powerlifting this is not the gym for you. Located upstairs they do not allow proper use of the deadlift platform - after 2.5 years as a member i was indirectly asked to leave for using it as it's intended. If you have any intention of training heavy you will inevitably be asked to find a different gym. There is a reason for the high Personal Trainer & Staff turnover here...

Positive experience: This gym is the best and distinguishes it from others with its kind treatment in terms of staff and trainers. One of my favourite coach is Joseph (Joe) who is professional and enthusiastic, always inspires to give our best with his kind attitude also he always makes sure that everyone is doing well with their form and health, i’d highly recommended to get training from Joe and next thing is you won’t be disappointed. @jsjfitness31

Fantastic experience: Recently signed up and have been very happy with the gym so far. Jordan was very personable and down to earth and showed us around when signing up and the gym is keeping up brilliantly with Covid hygiene and sanitation protocols. Highly recommended

Negative experience: Not a terrible gym per se but very small and limited equipment (no boxes for example). When first attending I was told it's quiet from 7:30pm onwards but every time I've attended the weights area is full of people so haven't been able to gain access to a squat rack etc. I've stuck to the more open-plan area, but it has boxing bags hanging, a rowing machine etc so again, working with limited space if you wanna do a HIIT workout or anything like that. WC and showers (the entire area) has also been out of use the last couple of times I attended (so this entire week). The people working there are nice, which is good but the gym itself just wasn't worth it for me. Also please note when you wish to cancel you can only do so 30 days from the billing date (which for this kind of gym is unusual) - so if like me you cancel 2 weeks before your next billing date, you have to still pay another month's gym attendance even if you won't be attending. I also had problems with their back end system as it shows as no active membership and despite chasing this multiple times it's still not resolved.

Fantastic experience: Excellent staff and good installations.

Negative experience: The place itself is well run, by good people with excellent classes. But God help you if you move and need to cancel your membership. Currently being chased for payment after cancelling membership with the club and even cancelling my direct debit on their order. Find a different company if you can.

Fantastic experience: a well deserved name, the gym is really full of good energy/vibes. from the first minute when my partner and I were welcomed by Lucy at the front desk to everyone else in the team who’re always smiling and happy to help with any queries,highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with very friendly PTs and staff willing to help out when they can. When lockdown eased, the PTs ran socially distant classes on the common for free helping to keep me and a dozen others fit and healthy. There is a good range of machines and equipment and they have laid out markings on the floor so when each member works out in their 'box' no one is allowed to enter so we can be relatively safe. Everyone cleans up after themselves with wipes. They are considering continuing with groups classes on the common so if you want to stay away from the gym but still exercise I find group classes are a great way to keep fit and meet people. Come support this local business owned by a franchisee rather than a corporate chain.

Negative experience: While the majority of the gym staff are perfectly friendly, polite, professional and welcomingly conversational that's completely contradicted by the complete failure of user experience. In short, there are bigger and cheaper gyms in the vicinity.

Fantastic experience: Great range of classes and equipment (standard precor cardio stuff, plus full weights rack etc). Friendly staff with a decent tolerance for my average to poor level of banter. Great value membership without compromising quality facilities and staff. Really helped me work on cardio, strength and core. Also really benefited from additional one-to-one Personal Training available here.

Positive experience: I thoroughly enjoy my time at Energie Fitness Putney. They have all necessary workout machines and are always working to take in member feedback about what machines they'd like to see added in the near future. They offer a wide range of classes as well! What stands out to me most is how welcoming, friendly and helpful the staff are. They are always asking for feedback, and encouraging members to ask any questions about anything gym-related. Fantastic experience: I had a really warm welcome and great introduction to the gym. The trainers are friendly and very helpful!Really cool people to have a chat with before or after the sesh! Gym machines, weights and toilets are always clean! The classes are very versatile and fun!

Fantastic experience: My go to gym. I've been to two other gyms in Putney and I like this one the best. Friendly, approachable and very knowledgeable instructors. Good sets of equipment. A bit on the small side, but I've never been disadvantaged by that at all.

Positive experience: A nice little gym in putney. Very clean and the staff are friendly. The 4 star rating is due to the size (it is quite small compared to an average gym) and it does lack some equipment (tricep dip, assisted pull ups, etc).

Fantastic experience: Great gym, great staff and a fantastic atmosphere! Been coming to this gym since its opened and I couldn't be more pleased. There is a great range of equipment and the staff are always on hand for advice and are very approachable. The classes are really fun and are taught very well! From Fighting Fit to Cycle all are a challenge but very much worth it if you wanna get in shape. Special shout out to Pam, Ben, David and the rest of the team for always a great experience!

Negative experience: It is so small , this isn't a proper gym,it looks like a room with couple of machines. Don't waste your money 24 pounds per month really......only one time was enough for me to quit my membership. The worst 24 pounds I spent ever in my live.

Fantastic experience: What a great gym and lovely staff! I have tried so many gyms (posh, cheap, name them) and this is, so far, where I feel most comfortable being (and working out of course!). The Battersea one is good too, I have to say. The atmosphere is great, staff smile, the changing room/showers are pristine (there is a lovely lady always looking after them) and there is a big area (my fun, fully-equipped space) where you can do boxing and exercise on your own. A gem of a gym.

Fantastic experience: This gym is tops! It may be slightly on the smaller scale but it doesn’t seem to affect my work outs too badly - especially if I don’t go in peak time. The classes are fantastic however, they can be hard to get into, so you need to book fast. Everyone that works there is super friendly and helpful, which makes it a comfortable environment to be in

Fantastic experience: I joined the Gym during the pre- sale. I was excited about a new gym opening in Putney as the one I go to locally is always really busy and packed. The gym is of the smaller scale, but has everything you need and require for a workout, as well as some great classes. It’s clean, tidy and well managed. All the equipment is top quality and brand new. There is even a boxing yard area which has boxing bags and other stuff. The staff are really helpful and are always around to provide advice and tips on training and the equipment. The owner is friendly and keen to ensure all his members are happy and getting value for their money with membership being less than £20 per month. I believe the owner is still adding more classes and equipment to this already great gym. I am a very happy bunny

Fantastic experience: Not really into going to the gym but i saw this ones opening day and thought i'd pop in the the staff made me feel at ease and explained the equipment as I had no idea. I've been 3 times since it opened and looking forward to the spin class!

Fantastic experience: Having worked in Putney for a few years it was a great to welcome energie to the area. I went to the opening party and was greeted by friendly and helpful staff who couldn't do enough to answer my questions and show me how the equipment worked. Let's just say I have been 3 times since and have signed up to spin class ( more then I have done all year)

Fantastic experience: Came in today to check it out after my friend told me about the new gym opening. I was seeking a new gym anyway after leaving (the gym group). Richard the general manager showed me around, very informative, helpful and made me feel welcome unlike my other gym ( just took my money and left me to it). Sighed up and I’m ready for my new gym.
