Fantastic experience: Amazing. Friendly, quite quiet early before 8am. Box fit was so good. I can see in 6 months time I'm really going to tone up. So close to my house for convenience. All staff have helped with my disability and been soo patience with me. Thanks guys

Positive experience: Tai chi class was just right. However hairdryers in the changing rooms were rubbish...take a leaf out of Llanishen changing rooms. Excellent dryers with shelves and big mirrors .

Fantastic experience: Fun clean and safe space for swimming. Enjoy it remember to book your car in at the front desk. Showers and changing ok pool is great.

Positive experience: Pool is always just a touch too cold for my liking. Can get a little busy in the fast lane and some people might be better off in the middle.

Fantastic experience: Nice pool a good sized changing area with some cubicles but mostly an open area. The pool has good lighting and an area out of the water, two Life guards when we visited. Lots of other facilities

Positive experience: Maindy pool is a good local pool, the changing rooms could do with modernization but they are always kept clean.

Fantastic experience: Very clean hand sanitisation on all tables, watching grandchildren begin taught to swim properly and safely.

Positive experience: I only use the gym so I can't give feedback about the pool. The gym is well equipped and organised. The staff keep the equipment and area clean which is good to see in these covid times. It is suitable for all levels of fitness and age ranges, not an intimidating gym to visit. I have been visiting for years and can would recommend this gym to anyone. My only criticism is the amount of time some customers spend on the machines using their phones instead of working out, very frustrating. Some signs to discourage this behaviour might help or staff advising the culprits.

Fantastic experience: A warm welcome I received after not using the facility for almost 18 months. The entry procedure and lay out of the gym was fully explained. On entering the gym itself the layout was obvious, cleaning stations were visible, and social distancing was obvious. I felt very safe and comfortable whilst using the facility.

Fantastic experience: Good system in use Re covid. Water was lovely and refreshing and was able to have a lovely shower after my swim. Well done maindy and their staff.

Fantastic experience: Good lane swimming with separation for ability and a very easy booking system. Free parking if you sign your vehicle in too Just make sure you get into your costume beforehand and put clothes on over.

Negative experience: This pool should not be open if they cannot help with first aid , when my 4 year old Grand daughter cut her hand while in the pool on a sharp broken tile . I will be getting health and safety involved , so that this doesn't happen to anyone again.

Fantastic experience: Fab to get back in water! You have to have your swimwear on at arrival and you have to previous your session for pool or gym. Kids under 16 have to have an adult with them.

Positive experience: Robust system to limit number of people swimming and good use of facilities to allow one-way passage. More could have been done to encourage a minimum 1m distancing in the pool though.

Negative experience: Nice pool but several times I have been there and a lifeguard spends at least 20 mins chatting to someone swimming in the pool. Not very professional and a potential safety issue.

Fantastic experience: Friendly helpful staff

Negative experience: I went to one very crowded ladies only swimming session here a few weeks ago, and on instruction by a member of staff, used the tablet in reception to put in my car details to take advantage of the free parking. At the start of this week I received a parking fine, despite me having followed instructions exactly. I went in to the centre to ask about it and the first response I had was 'we dont deal with that sorry'. I had to ask for another member of staff who was just as rude and didn't offer any explanation as to why I had been fined, even though I was following instructions one of their staff members had given me.

Fantastic experience: Their staff is great. Space is big enough as well.

Negative experience: Wasnt happy my son is in nursery 12.45 to 3.15 I couldn't find anywear to swim at this time I have ms and swimming is important to me but I was so gutted today.

Negative experience: Listen ladies an gents if you are under 16 this place is like going to Waitrose with the your mum as it’s a rip off and it’s not very entertaining. The staff can be nice but sometimes a little bit rude. Thanks xx

Negative experience: A woman with long white hair was at the reception desk at around 4pm, when I greeted her it was clear she wanted to ignore me. After waiting for her to finish her seemingly important work doing nothing I was met with a blank gaze, all this without a word being said from her. The facility was fine but I don't believe having people such as this at the entrance is good for business at all. Perhaps it's time to retire?
