Negative experience: They are needing to stop people being on their mobile phones around the pool , Especially when kids are in the pool . There is a sign that clearly states this No Phones

Negative experience: Too many children/babies in the pool. Awful, all times of day, Swimming classes, baby days & unfortunately members can also bring them, it's like public swimming pool! It's almost impossible to book an aqua class, it's full 20mins after online booking opens. Other classes full quickly aswell, instead of just being able to book at the start of your day's off, you literally have to organise your classes a week in advance. I work nightshifts so the only way i can guarantee a slot on a class is to wait until after 8am to go to sleep which is 2hrs after I finish. Just not a pleasant experience. Wish I hadn't joined. I was a member of Houston House before, MUCH BETTER EXPERIENCE!!! Don't recommend belshill Hiton Livingwell health club at all.

Negative experience: Would not recommend this gym getting harassed because i cancelled my Direct Debit I get a gym paid for me by my employer as part of our benefits package and it’s so impossible to cancel the membership I have even sent them a message on messenger and to send in evidence that my new membership with the other gym has started with and they have just patched me like the gym seriously needs some TLC badly am surprised how health and safety have not pulled them up for it and I don’t think really it’s worth £45 a month on corporate when I get the other gym covered with my employer

Negative experience: Gym is a complete mess. Half the Treadmills don’t work, step machines not working, rowing machine. Leg extension has been broken for weeks and now the leg curl is broken. Also very strangely they have a mix of lbs and kg weight plates? Weird. Joined a new local gym, all their machines are brand new and work perfectly! It’s not worth £59 per month. The pool is nice but for me the gym/strength training is more important.

Fantastic experience: Excellent spa day. Treatment with Amy was wonderful. Had back massage and facial which was very relaxing. Amy listened to my needs and was very skilled in both treatments. Would definitely return and recommend.

Fantastic experience: This is my 3rd visit to the spa for a massage and my best. AMY was great! Listened to what I wanted, she had lovely energy very calming, I felt great afterwards, noticed the release of tension in my body. I will be back

Fantastic experience: Spa day at Bellshill, lovely back massage/shoulders and facial with Claire would recommend. Face felt amazing after it.

Negative experience: Spa Facilities were absolutely lovely and staff were really nice however the amount of children in it completely ruined it for me. If I'm paying for a spa break, then I don't want to be receiving the exact same experience I would be in a public swimming pool, but with an added jacuzzi. There was swimming lessons on going during my visit, everyone who wasn't in a swimming lesson was crammed onto small section of the pool, it was noisy and after my massage I entered the pool and all the magic my masseuse had done was totally undone by the chaos. Wouldn't recommend for that alone.

Fantastic experience: Had a chill time swimming, whirlpool, sauna then went for an amazing massage and facial by Helena at elemis spa. The whole day was great from start to finish.

Fantastic experience: Very good health club. Quite a lot of equipment and classes available. The management is investigating in the equipment so new stuff is coming. The spa area is very good as well. Friendly and helpful staff

Positive experience: Was a member here 7 years ago and to be honest it hasn't changed at all ,the equipment is dated and one of the jacuzzis hasn't worked for over a month now,tiles have fell off one of the steam rooms and that hasn't happened recently,price wise it's not the cheapest

Positive experience: Nice swimming pool, with 2 steam rooms and 2 saunas so never a wait always clean and changing rooms assessable and roomy.

Positive experience: Good gym with good equipment. Beginning what is a well needed refurb of the changing areas. However, the new showers are such a disappointment since they've done away with the temperature controls. After a long run, cycle, workout or fitness class a cool shower is beneficial to recovery. In my opinion the showers are just too hot.

Fantastic experience: Excellent definitely worth the membership

Negative experience: Manager is clearly trying to save money by not maintaining the gym and spa areas. Mens changing room toilets almost unusable. Hardy flush, rotten doors and mildew everywhere. Considerable amount of equipment in poorish repair in the gym and the space is poorly laid out. Not enough free weights and an unnecessary amount of space taken up by (broken) spin bikes. Often items have an “out of order” on for weeks and months at a time. Needs some modernisation and if another gym opened nearby I suspect this would lose considerable membership. Would not take much money or time to improve things. On the upside staff are generally pleasant and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Livingwell in Strathclyde for a month now and I enjoy it. Yoga Instructors are all good. I don't think you have to wait too long for using the equipment. People at the reception are always polite. In general I have had a good experience so far

Negative experience: My wife and i used to really like the gym, the equipment was always good. These days are gone, the cardio equipment needs replaced, treadmills all mostly make a strange noise, the watt bikes are all broken bar one, the cross trainers have seen better days. The pool area needs redeveloped, its grubby and has looked the same since this place opened many many years ago. One jacuzzi has been out of order since about November which is an utter joke meaning you can't get to use any as the other is always taken up by selfish groups who sit in the one working one for 30mins at a time. I could go on but the review would just get boring. In summary, its poor!!!!

Negative experience: Popped into gym to view and rejoin with my husband to be told its members only. Explained to the girl on reception that we were members for many years and stopped during the pandemic. Again her reply sorry its members only. Asked how do I join if I can't even see it, went away to speak to manager and to be told members only. Then when pushed for feedback she then offered an appointment with the sales team. Seriously guys you used to 5* who we often recommend to our friends but sadly these days are gone.

Fantastic experience: Nice place to relax for swim sauna steam room etc would highly recommend the livingwell for a nice time to spend a couple of hours also they have got a fantastic gymnasium upstairs

Negative experience: Pool is freezing but notice on door to say they have had trouble with boiler, fair enough. One hot tub not working and other one with 4 selfish people sat in it during cleaning cycle meaning no one else gets a go, this is the norm. The club do not police this and for that reason I'm packing in my membership.

Negative experience: Attitude of the staff was shocking. I was looking to try the gym but the only way to do so was to take out a membership, after using it and was disgusted by the cleanliness, I asked for my membership to be cancelled and money refunded but they would not refund my money. I had sent 2 emails and after both were ignored I visited the branch and the lady at reception actually laughed at me when I said I ran my own business and knew how to check my emails. I can't believe how unprofessional the staff are and how dirty the pool and steam rooms were.

Positive experience: Decent equipment, too many blokes sitting about taking up equipment, sometimes more than one machine at a time, sitting on their phones texting their birds and sending selfies. If you want a good workout go later on in the day or find an actual gym.

Positive experience: I come here as part of water babies with my Daughter. I find the changing area can be quite dirty especially the baby pen which needs a really good clean or even replaced. Outside of that it is a nice place to come too but cleanliness is a real issue for me.

Positive experience: Other than its name, this place is dated. The same changing rooms, shower units, decor from 15+ years ago. Gym equipment is at best ok. Local council gyms have much more modern equipment. On the plus, its 5 mins from both my home and place of work.

Fantastic experience: Amazing health club. Friendly staff with top of the range equipment. Have to also point out how clean this health club is. I have visited numerous gyms that have been beyond filthy and this place puts others to shame! Well done guys keep up the amazing work!

I work with a young gentleman who is autistic and I can't thank Jemma and Declyn enough for going out of their way to ensure that Brian had a positive experience whist attending the pool area last week. Fantastic experience: My local spa, lovely and clean. Therapists are all nice and attentive. Wide range of treatments available, usually go for a massage or an elemis facial every now and again. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Positive experience: Excellent health club, towels provided and clean place when heat gym. Only issue is pool always too busy but hopefully fix in future.

Negative experience: This health club requires a deep clean, moss growing up the steam room door frame, green algi growing on tiles around swimming pool. Continually running out of shampoo and towels, fit and healthy members always take all the Disabled parking bays, staff have been repeatedly told about members using Disabled bays but nothing is done.

Fantastic experience: This gym has an amazing selection of equipment and the TRX training room is awesome!
