Negative experience: Staff are rude spend all their times on their phones unhelpful and barely look up from their dodgy streams of football they are watching plus they swear a lot,facilities are good that’s the only positive Having a girl work on reception in a sports centre who has clearly never exercised a day in her life and is well over weight isn’t really a good advert for the gym is it,hardly makes you want to use the gym I used the gym went to ask question at reception and neither staff member was there not the first time this has happened either very poor way to treat a paying customer I won’t be back Would be a nice centre with different staff

Negative experience: The girl who works there Alani is truly horrible if she takes a dislike to you she turns the lights off on your pitch booking early,whilst letting her mates play for free and not putting their booking through the system plus she will lie and swear On Mondays her mates used to have 8-9pm booking and she lets them play until almost 10pm without paying (not made up either players who play Mondays have told us)plus she lets them play half pitch when they only have quarter pitch for free because she stupidly believes the fake flattery they give her Avoid this centre like the plague until she leaves,I visit everyone active centres regularly and she is by far the worst employee I’ve ever come across she has zero personality and zero people skills (that’s if you catch her on a good day) catch her on a bad day she is far worse Totally incompetent and awful employee that made sure we lost our pitch booking She’s also taken to patrolling the pitch like some low rental storm trooper (someone should tell her she’s in control of a pitch light switch she’s not God) All our players refused to use the changing rooms or toilets because she was there so she started walking around the pitch to ruin everyone’s night The only good thing about our booking getting cancelled and them handing it over to a polish team (with no notice even though we paid weekly because they got more money from someone else which is morally completely wrong and poor business sense because we were there 52 weeks a year and not Sept -March) for no apparent reason is we don’t have to see her weekly

Fantastic experience: I just rent recently for 3h there place for a birthday party and I was very satisfied. Very affordable prices to rent. The most important is that they let me to cut the birthday cake and serve inside. I definitely will come back next year.

Negative experience: Miserable place to watch football, very isolated. Certainly get their moneys worth out of the venue, a bit chaotic but appears well managed.

Positive experience: I go here for HDSA Archery, pleasant people, only refreshments are via a vending machine and an ice cream cabinet at reception.

Positive experience: Came here for my granddaughter gymnastics show, they play football here. Seems pleasant and clean.

Fantastic experience: This is the home of the Harold Hill Bowls Club where we play table tennis and short mat bowls in the winter and outdoor lawn bowls in the summer. This is a terrific friendly club with a great social side as well.
