Bishopston Sports Centre has something for everyone. Gym, fitness classes, it's the perfect place to stay in shape and socialise.
Freedom Leisure manages Bishopston Sport Centre in partnership with Swansea Council. Our aim is to "improve lives through leisure", providing affordable, inclusive and sustainable facilities that the whole community can enjoy.

As a not-for-profit charitable leisure trust, supporting individuals and communities to be more active and healthier is at the heart of everything we do. We believe in ‘health at all ages’; we want the local communities we serve to have fun, feel welcome, included and empowered to live healthy lives.
You do not require a membership to visit the centre however it is advised as this gives you access to additional benefits as well as offering great value for money.
We have a wide range of classes so you are bound to find the right one to suit you. You can be sure that you’ll have a great time building your fitness and improving your self-confidence. We have over 30 instructor led classes per week.
We don’t have a pool, the closest pools to you can be found at our centres in Penyrheol, Penlan, Morriston and the LC Swansea, all of which offer a range of different swimming activities and swimming lessons.
Travelling to our centre is easy, and there are many different public transport routes available to help you get here! We have free parking on site also.

Negative experience: I've fond aslong as my doctor but heard nothing back it's been over a year,yes they say they busy but I've been under mental health problems for 25yrs still no help

Fantastic experience: Really friendly and well set up venue for a Children's 'Indoor Bouncy Castle' birthday party. You bring your own drinks, cake, etc. which makes things easy. We try and be single-use plastic free, so could bring washable cups and jugs (to take home and wash up), and used paper party bags with no plastic junk! A really good value party!

Positive experience: simple and down home gym and the fact it’s in a school just makes it more fun. Great classes in the big gym and though you didn’t hire me to teach yoga there, I’m glad you took my idea and ran w it. I ended up placing Rose in my position at the Langrove Health club where I do teach while I am in the area. Small world! So glad Bishopston has this facility

Positive experience: I went on a Friday morning and it was absolutely packed, it is very small for a gym and it stinks of BO. The staff are very friendly and helpful though, plenty of parking during school holidays.
