Easterhouse Sports Center

Negative experience: Terrible place to book for events, wasted 3 weeks of my life telling me I can host an event and with such delays from the management side of this sports centre, after 3 weeks I get informed "it's bad news booking can't go ahead" Honestly very poor management team and seriously need to do better, not only it wasted my time but also everyone around me! Definitely top 3 worst venues I've come across in terms of time wasting!!!

Fantastic experience: Spent a great Saturday morning at an under-13s netball tournament hosted by Glasgow Club Easterhouse. The venue was perfect, with seats lined along the glass walls of the court so spectators could support their teams. Toilets accessible, vending machines available, (drinks one takes £1 coins, others cards), good parking availability, and easy access to the M8 motorway.

Negative experience: The wait for covid/flu jabs was horrendous. Giving a 3pm appointment, taken at 5 45pm. Not the fault of nhs staff there who were lovely, not enough people employed to give the jabs. Nightmare.

Positive experience: Had to get my second covid jab and on the day I was there it was quite quiet and quite quick when I went for the first jab it was the same place but it was very busy and quite long queues so I must have been lucky the second time ⌚ no waiting around straight in jabbed and asked me to sit down for 5 minutes after the jab was done to see if I had any of the bad reactions but I think the 2nd jab was a lot "better" as I didn't have to wait in a long queue etc

Positive experience: Hot my booster, had to wait about 30 minutes but that's to be expected I'm sure. Everyone inside and out staff were great. The odd person morning they have waited 30 mins. Give the NHS a break they are flat out getting these boosters rolled out.

Negative experience: Went for my first vaccine and basically got spoken to like a little school boy, I’m in my 40s!! I asked a few questions with regards to the vaccine before I was given it. I was told just take it because people are waiting to be vaccinated!! I got up and left without having any vaccine, I’ll not be taking it at all!!
