Positive experience: This is for the gym too many people on Mobile phones whilst sat on machines this practice needs to stop as you cannot use the machine they are occupying. Also people who sit on machines and do nothing needs to change.

Negative experience: Trying to take my daughter for a casual swim at the weekend is a nightmare at this place, the pools are always closed for 1 reason or another, usually lessons/clubs. But they do lessons all through the week so why deny the public access at the weekend.

Negative experience: Trying to take my son for a swim, this should be a super simple process, no stress, easily book etc. Go to the website to try and book and it says to register, there is no way to register? There is no way to pay for a swimming session! Feels like the website is designed to drive you to become a member. With all the technology we have and ability to pay instantly why are all our systems so complicated?!? It surely would be the easiest system, a simple booking system. Also been calling the phone number since 10am, cannot get through and the message says to go to the website!

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting staff laughing at the children when the kids got there from school knowing they were getting changed to go into the pool to tell them no they are not allowed to swim today second time stupid excuses made for not letting the children swim well done you for being so disrespectful to a class of year 6 instead of laughing at the kids disappointing them

Positive experience: Went to see the Drifters,amazing show. Great venue. Great view from the seats. Only two grumbles the queue for the ladies, and the queue for the bar really could do with managing better. There are not enough staff on the bar, and are there more ladies' loos in another area of the centre?

Negative experience: Unable to comment on the facilities, as didn't actually get that far - tried to book for one adult and one junior online, but you can only book one person at a time (or at least, not and adult and junior at the same time) Ok, not every website is perfect, so tried to use the instant chat feature on the website to seek help, which directed me to book at the website. When I mentioned the website booking wasn't functioning properly (see screenshot), recommended I call the centre. Perfect, a solution, thank you web chat! As long as someone answers the phone, we're going swimming! Tried to call 7 times between 9am and 2pm, have listened to about an hour's worth of hold music in total, the phone was not answered once and the pre-recorded message that plays just before being hung up on directs me to the website to book... **Results** - over 1/2 day wasted - one disappointed child - one very frustrated wife - no option but to drive the 30-something minutes to the actual centre and hope that the in-person experience is better than the online/telephone one, AND hope that there are slots available for the swimming session. **Ratings** Facilities: Unknown, unable to get access yet Staff Friendliness: Unknown, unable to speak to anyone yet Website Booking: Useless unless you're booking only adults or only juniors Communication: Awful, have not been able to speak to a human being in 5 hours of trying Disclaimer: This review is of this singular experience, and although this has been sub-standard, I can't comment on the overall facilities or staff as I simply haven't been able to make it that far through the booking process. Perhaps the facilities are A+ and the staff are the human equivalent of a warm hug, if that turns out to be the case I'll happily update this review.

Negative experience: Why does nobody answer the phone Losing customers from bad service!!!

Negative experience: Came to the gym this morning while the HIIT class was on. The music was unbearably loud. When it eventually stopped at about 11:05 everyone on the treadmills around me were saying "Thank god that has finished" "It is way too loud" " Can't hear my own music" "Have complained time and time again about it" etc etc etc When will Brio ever take any notice of member feedback? This place is a complete joke.

Fantastic experience: Great for casual, family fun swimming and not too overcrowded for lane swimming in the evening. Good clean facilities. Plenty of parking. Locker takes 20p. Sign up for the free leisure card for £1 discount. Recommended.

Positive experience: We only get their membership for gym and other activities. It was kinda bummer for us that they don't have badminton court. Haven't tried anything else except the gym and pool, so I can't give reviews about other things. The gym is kinda nice and clean. The girl who gave me the induction was so friendly and nice. The pool is good too. Most of the staff is friendly and cooperative.

Fantastic experience: Recently attended the comedy club, AC/DC Tribute and Rock of ages..All brilliant and good value.

Negative experience: Great gym apart from when the classes are on in there. They are way too loud. When I go to the gym I like to listen to my own music or watch TV on my phone. But when the classes are on this is impossible as the sound from my phone is drowned out by the noise of the gym speaker (even with decent noise cancelling headphones on). Is it really necessary to have it that loud?!

Positive experience: Parking can be busy at times when venues are on but not too bad. The set up for the gym, pool and spa it not that great but I'll get used to it. Overall good place

Negative experience: I have rung this place 20 times this morning but I get cut off because no one answers the phones. I having been waiting a month for a refund for swimming lessons that were paid for upfront . I would not advise anyone to pay up front for lessons. It is impossible to get your money back!!! We have 3 full memberships for brio but I am not sure that I will be renewing them this year.! I went onto chat and was told to go to the northwich brio. Very disappointed with this company.

Negative experience: They want 30 days notice and an extra months payment to CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP... You have to queue a minimum of 20 minutes at reception, just to scan your card to go in the gym. The showers almost never work, and when they do its cold water only. The gym is about as big as my trouser pockets. The pool is always too full. What does my £29 a month go towards? (Baring in mind this was raised from £26 a month with zero days notice, where you require 30 days notice for a cancellation) Honestly, if your thinking about signing up, I highly advise that you seek alternate places. This place is a shambles!

Positive experience: Good venue for shows and music, seats need to staggered and they are hard. Drinks are a bit pricey. Will definitely go again to a music gig.

Fantastic experience: I have never been in the building before ,let alone watch a show. The cast put on a fantastic performance of Oliver. I watched this show in the west end some years ago featuring Rowan Atkinson as Fagin and other than the obvious superior costumes and sets this was just as good. The singing was superb and I had to keep reminding myself that all these actors are amateurs!! Has a drink from the bar at the interval and it was priced competitively. Well done Northwich. I will be visiting again soon

Fantastic experience: I would like to share my experience of 'Oliver' that I attended yesterday. It was really brilliant. All the cast had excellent singing voices and the whole performance was superior to many professional ones I have been involved in and seen. Fagan,Sykes,Nancy,the sellers and Mr Bumble stood out. Thank you so much for a brilliant afternoon where I saw so many children enjoying the spectacle also.

Fantastic experience: Went for the first time to watch circus of horrors last month. It's a lovely theatre, the staff were friendly and helpful and my view of the stage was great. Service at the bar was surprisingly fast considering how busy they were, and there was plenty of free, well lit parking. I'd definitely go again.

Positive experience: Went to yoga class. Very relaxed. Room could do with being a bit warmer in the cold weather. All clean and tidy.

Negative experience: Terrible showers, never work and take a life time to fix . Nrver give a timeline date to repair. Even when they get fixed they are cold.

Fantastic experience: The pantomime at brio in Northwich this afternoon was amaxing well done to all involved deffo be going next year to watch Cinderella .The leisure centre was spotless

Fantastic experience: Visited Beauty and The Beast Pantomime on 26 December. It was excellent family entertainment with brilliant casting. Well worth a visit. Easy parking.

Negative experience: It is shocking. There’s nothing you can do at the gym if you’re under 16. You cant go in after 6pm on weekdays for an unspecified reason and 4pm on weekends. It doesn’t say anything about under 16’s going to the gym after a specified time at the workplace. It was been shocking because also there has been staff shortages which you doesn’t allow under 16’s to go into the gym once again. The service is horrible. It’s £18 a month for barely anything at all. Go to a better gym if you can, save yourself some money. Do not recommend

Positive experience: Pool nice, usually warm and clean. Other facilities such as Gym and spa always seem busy. Reasonably priced activities. Theatre is a nice size. Been to a few shows. Cafe is great when open. Shame really. Imagine it's a staffing issue. Staff on main desk always friendly and helpful.

Positive experience: A great pool, a decent gym and plenty of shows on in the auditorium.

Positive experience: We have had excellent nights out watching varied shows, they are always excellent, the only problem when it is tiered seating the heat in the back rows is unbearable as you are up nearer to the ceiling. The aircon is not good enough for the summer months. The staff said it was not working properly so this needs to be addressed for comfort.

Fantastic experience: We had our 3 year olds birthday party at brio today. We went for the bouncy castle party with food supplied by the brio team. We were advise we could arrive at anytime to set up and when we got there the room had all the tables and chairs set and the bouncy castle and soft play items available. The team were quick to help get the music set up and fans to help keep the room as cool as possible. Food was lovely. Arrived in individual boxes with an activity book and was made of good quality ingredients. At the end of the party the team advised they would do the clean up also. Money well spend and 18 very happy, sweaty toddlers.

Positive experience: Really nice pool with helpful and friendly staff. I went for a swim with the kids on a Sunday morning ‍♂️ As we were leaving, they were pumping up an inflatable assault course and had a load of flats to throw in the pool - my boys were a bit miffed that I'd booked a standard session and not the "wet and wild" session. Lesson learnt! I'll know for next time

Negative experience: Came today for a swim with my grand daughter and daughter, session 5pm-6pm. We've started bringing my granddaughter weekly to build up her confidence in the water and to help her learn how to swim. We got talking to another family in the pool, their children had floats and asked where she go them from. Swimming lessons were taking place, it's was about half hour before the session ended. I went over to the women with blond hair who was doing swimming lessons if we could just borrow one of the foam floats hanging up. Her response no you can't sorry we have them in the shop to buy. I said I know. All we just wanted to see how she took to the float to buy her one after the session ended if she liked it. We just wanted to borrow one, it would of been handed back over end of the session. Last week when we came to swim session. Another lady who was doing lessons that week, happily gave one to a family to borrow to help with their children in the water. It was just for the last half hour. She was miserable aswell, needs lighten up abit. It would of done no harm to borrow it for my granddaughter for abit to see how she got on with it. They was about 15 of the foam floats hanging up not being used

Positive experience: (Swimming review, never used other services) Bit Meh to be honest, first of all any of the wet and wild events don't count on getting in, they'll make you queue up (and the queue is huge) soon as the pool is "full" they'll turn you away and you'll be the one to explain to your kid why... you can't book either. Next, whenever it says the water slide is open, it probably won't be due to staffing issues, I mean, we had one day were the little pool wasn't open either because of staff. Topped off by over bearing attendants quashing any remaining fun we tried to have. Could be much much better.

Fantastic experience: Always get a very helpful and friendly person on the phone here. Also, just as nice in person! The cubicles are clean and the showers working and hot! Love the music playing as i do my swim. Water a good temperature.

Negative experience: Tried repedlly to place membership on hold due to injury. Helpful at first but dispite repeated contact not resolved. Customer lost. Only care if you paying them.

Positive experience: I went to the Comic Con on Saturday 15th April Great Event Plenty to see and buy all at a bargain price I definitely recommend to others

Positive experience: Go daily. Excellent selection of classes and helpful friendly instructors. Unfortunately there is always something which doesn't work. Currently the two self booking in machines have not been working for two weeks resulting in long queues at the weekend.

Fantastic experience: Visited 16/02/2023, unfortunately no pics taken but great parking at back of building plus if validate car park ticket in the memorial court building then it gives 3hrs free parking so for the event I went to ended up only paying 20p - bargain! The hall inside is big, only downside is that the projector isn’t the clearest but still usable. The catering options offered were good and kept topped up with vegetarian options also. Overall good venue to use, recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Negative experience: Pool area unhygienic. Parents in changing rooms wearing shoes without shoe covers which in turn leaves changing floor very dirty and could cause infections.

Negative experience: You pay monthly to access the facilities but can never access the pool unless you come 30 minutes before a casual swimming session starts. 5 times I have been wanting to take my daughter and the pool is always full... they probably don't let more than 25 people in there. It is ridiculous, a waste of time and money.

Negative experience: Not able to book classes, Once on a waiting list you have to check your email. If the space is available you definitely will miss it as you don’t get enrolled automatically on a empty space. To use the gym you have to log a thicket and then scan it . Very simple basic classes, especially yoga and Pilates are wasting time

Spa is lovely and hot, lovely jacuzzi and sauna/steam, not sure why they never seem to answer the phone and the sauna/steam needs better cleaning more cleaning daily needed in sauna steam and no good cool off area is still very hot hard to cool down before showering

Positive experience: Excellent centre with good amenities. It was a hot day and theatre was roasting but we were assured they had air conditioning backstage (granddaughters were in a dance show). There is parking, but also other car parks a short walk away.

Negative experience: Had a terrible experience today at the reception. Me and my son have premere membership in this centre. After we finished for gym my son wanted to go for swimming. We checked at the reception around 8 pm to get into for the swimming as the session was causal swimming between 7 .15 pm to 9 pm. However the lady at the reception did not allow us giving a reason that it is all full for today. When we saw from the outside, the pool was less busier than any other day we had come for swimming. Just a second before us some one was allowed to get in for the swimming. My son got highly disappointed with the response from the lady at the reception. I am still not sure how does she know and track if the pool is busy. This was 3rd visit by my son to Swimming at this centre and we had never had this problem.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, clean environment and pool temp is just right! Have only used for swimming with kids and kids swimming lessons, and experience has always been good. Changing area is a good size with plenty of cubicles and lockers (20p needed for locker) Parking fee is sensible too, 20p for upto 2 hours. Update on review (Aug 2023) yep all still good

Fantastic experience: From what I saw and from what I was told from my niece about the changing areas, everywhere is clean and tidy. There are a few viewing areas of the pool, one next to the cafe and one by the pool. All staff were fantastic when we paid for swimming and when using the cafe

Fantastic experience: Went to the theatre to see my granddaughter in a show .Parking is easy .Only problem is the cafeteria , they are aware that the theatre is open and know in advance how many people are going there ,in the end some people had to give up ,recommend you take your own snacks/drinks
