Pitreavie Athletics Centre

Fantastic experience: I visited the Athletics Center a week ago while doing a Frame Running Course. I fell in love with the facilities of the Center and the passion that the coaches have. Great network of parents, coaches and volunteers working towards inclusive athletics.

Positive experience: Has everything you would want from a gym but it would be handy if it was open earlier and later.

Positive experience: Please contact the club before visiting coz limited parking and indoor facilities are pre-booked. They have excellent clubs to assist with Disabled Mobility.

Fantastic experience: My son has started run, jump and throw classes at pitreavie. He absolutely loves them. Staff are fantastic and great with the kids.

Fantastic experience: Great place I took my grandson in his wheel chair I couldn't get it so looked through the window the laddie was brilliant and my 5 year old grandad so loves it thank all that lovely people that give up there spare, time for all ages than to ever one that there his face lights up to go racing brilliant

Fantastic experience: Great facilities for running and fitness training.Outside there is a 400m track and inside there is a 60m track.there is also a gym upstairs full of bikes and weight benches medecing balls and treadmills.

Positive experience: Been here to watch my grandsons play football it is a very open area no shelter when it rains unless you go into the pavilion

Positive experience: Most of my training is done here and its a great place to do it. The facilities are all in working order. The staff sometimes help but often when the track needs cleared of ice or snow they dont do it. Sometimes even in autunm they let leaves fall on the track. This forms a slipping hazard for athletes. The indoor area is good but often crampt and very busy and because there is no designated place for athletes to put their kit the indoor facilities are often blocked by equitment. Also, on nights when the track is busy it can become unsafe for both faster and slower athletes. Often athletes who are partaking in longer and slower runs can get in the way of athletes doing more faster sprint sessions. This is dangerous so i would reccomend a lane-speed system where sprints are in the inside with endurance on the outside. All in all its a great facility to use at reasonable pricing.

Positive experience: Good mix of indoor track/weights/LJ HJ PV jumps areas plus outdoor track with field area. Plenty parking and opportunity for outside hill runs too.

Fantastic experience: This place is fantastic. The set up is second to known. There is no excuses if you want to keep fit.. Must visit.
