Fantastic experience: Great kitted out gym all types of kit for everyones training needs. Gym always clean and staff are very helpful and polite. They have a abundance of watt bikes definitely recomend to friends.

Fantastic experience: Good gym. All the kit you will need, whether you want to do cardio, weights, or classes. Generally staff are nice and polite as well.

Fantastic experience: I visited Places Gym yesterday and decided to try the spin class for the first time. Although I was initially daunted, the instructor, Danielle, put me at ease with a thorough introduction. I really enjoyed the class, and the other participants were brilliant. Thanks to this positive experience, I've signed up for a year’s membership. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: It's cheap, it's clean, staff are nice, it's in a safe and convenient location that has parking by the Sainsburys. Not 24 hours, sadly, but opening hours are very good nonetheless. Basically, it's a solid no frills gym for a good price.

Negative experience: Poor customer service won't respond to texts.

Positive experience: Well equipped gym, clean and tidy. I'm a Gym Pass member. There was nobody at reception to let me in, so I checked in via the app and let myself in. Luckily, the barrier was open for me to do so. I think there needs to be a better process in place for Gym Pass holders for gaining access to the gym. I like to train at 6am so I'm limited on time and if there's no one at reception to let me in, it reduces my training time.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant place. Loads of machines to use. Value for money. I joined last week and have been to a few classes so far and got a great introductory offer with a Personal Trainer.. people are really friendly and there is a nice positive buzz about the place.. 2 floors with equipment and different areas for you to train. Great variable classes that are done in the gym but also virtuals you can do at home. Parking is free for 2 hours at Sainsburys down the road.. you just collect a parking ticket from reception on your way out. It's the best gym I've been to so if you are looking to go somewhere give Places a try. My membership costs £16 a month...that includes all of the classes as well..

Positive experience: Fajne miejsce, dosyć duża, przestrzenna, wyposażona w sprzęt... Choć troszkę źle rozplanowane sale do ćwiczeń... Powinny być umiejscowione na innym poziomie z dala od miejsca gdzie ludzie ćwiczą na głośnych sprzętach i gdzie jest większy poziom hałasu.. Nie jest to dobre w przypadku ćwiczeń takich jak yoga, gdzie ciężko o skupienie mając tuż za ścianą bieżnie, rowery itd.. To moja osobistą opinia choć wcale nie musi się ktoś z nią zgadzać... Jeśli chodzi o zajęcia byłam tylko na jednych przez ciężko wyrazić opinię na ten temat.. Blisko w samym centrum..

Positive experience: Friendly, centrally located gym, set over 3 floors with more than enough equipment to meet the members demands. They have a studio on the ground and first floors, with a lot of cardio equipment on the first floor, along with strength and conditioning machines, as well as changing rooms with lockers and showers. The third floor is focused on weights. Great value for the monthly membership.

Fantastic experience: Can't fault the place - staff are all easy going and helpful, the gym is like the Tardis - you can't believe it's as big as it inside! - and in the last 18 months everyone has been extremely safe and considerate of each other. I have tried the other gyms in Hinckley but this is the best by far for whatever you're into

Negative experience: The direct debit people are a bit of a joke. Staff can’t let you change membership to Leisure centre even though it’s run by the same company and the whole gym smells of sweaty feet. Value for money not bad but it could be a lot better very easily. YEH NAH.

Negative experience: Small facilities with not much equipment, most of it is taken as there isn’t much of it. In the contract it states you need to write to them to say you’re cancelling 2 weeks in advance of payment, yet I did so and they’re still trying to charge me. Poor customer service from both them and their direct debit provider Harlands. Wouldn’t recommend.

Negative experience: I went yesterday - first time to a gym in TWELVE years - for legs, bums and tums class - class is in a well air conditioned room - tick. the staff were friendly - tick. The class did NO tummy work, just legs and abit of bum. I have woken the following day expecting aches and pains and i have no pain... none! so therefor my body has not been worked out. very disappointed that i feel no burn today AT ALL, anywhere on my unfit body. lol. the staff stated near to the end of the workout that if we want toned tummies to come to pilates ! .. no i paid for legs bums and tums. I personally wont return here

Negative experience: Smells awful in this gym, was pretty quite when I went but the smell is overpowering of sweaty feet where ever you go in the gym.

Fantastic experience: Love training here. Even on a busy evening you can get onto pretty much any equipment you need without much of a wait.

Positive experience: Good gym with excellent classes. The regular 7 pm classes are perfect for rail commuters from Birmingham/Leicester as you can hop off the half past train and run up the hill in time to get changed and do the class! Looking a little tired around the edges in certain places - i.e. the toilets in the men's changing rooms need a lick of paint and some TLC.

Positive experience: Only just started here at Simply Gym after a 19 year break from weight training and exercise. So far the staff seem to be approachable and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is pretty upbeat with lots of mixed ability people you are either hard core training or people who have never set foot in a gym before and just getting on with it. Nobody seems to be intimidated from what I've seen so far, which is good I think. Let's hope it stay's that way.
